That is a sweet start to the slicking up the finish dam and pond, that rock really gives it a really nice finish look plus being functional, I like it, thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
Chris I know your uncle and parents are proud of how far you've come since you started and I also know it is a good feeling to the equipment to do any job you set your mind to do!!! Happy digging!!!!!
Yeah, That does really look good with the "Rock" on the face of the dam like that, I think !! And saves a lot of time in keeping the weeds, and grass down off of it. Got it really looking nice Chris !! Great as Always, Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next...
I'd be doing the rock the same way. Chris, that's the best way to do it, place looks a world of difference since u started that project, awesome work, an thanks for sharing 🇺🇲✊👍🤙💪
It's looking really good. Won't be long to be all wrapped up and on your way to your next one. Yep, she's sure looking good. Turtle's already have moved in. Nothing wrong with that. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦🐢🐢
The Rock Ribbon on the Dam Flank, in the Height from the to Explanation Water level, a first Class Idea. Make a good limitation that the Water not can dig off the Shore by Wind. Chris You the Pond Master! 👌
Looks like another piece of magic turning a pig's ear into a silk purse. So gratifying to see the finish after all the work you have put into the project. Brian must be happy
If your trucking friend had a side dumping trailer ,the rock could be layed out on the matting ,as you are doing with excavator ! There will always be pond jobs that you need to lay rock out on the edge's! Even a fertilizer spreader trailer ,converted to spread rocks or stones , tow that behind the Komatsu ?
If it is not in a flood zone and it is less than 25' tall then around here you can do pretty much anything you want on your own property here in Kansas. Some of the drier states out west claim ownership to all surface water and you are not allowed to collect your own water.
Thinking one of those off road tracked dump things with the bed that spins would work but you still have to finish with the mini thanks for the video 😊
Hi Chris it almost looks like you have a Dump Truck and your tail gatting the gravel down on the black Matt along the ponds edge and it's really cool of the ideas 💡 you have came up with !
What a difference you made by just laying out the rock on the dam, whole project just another impressive piece that is well done.just keep on doing your thing.be safe.almost there.kudos to you sir.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Chris, watching you operate reminds me of the first time operating machinery. I was working with a cleanup crew after the Mississippi River flooded in 1974. 50 years ago.
Using your 350 and spreading it the way you did and coming in behind it with the other excavator smoothing it out was the way to go. It saved you a lot of trips and time. The pond is looking better every day. He must have a pretty big spring feeding that pond because it’s starting to collect a lot of water. He shouldn’t have a problem keeping it full. I don’t think that spillway will ever see water running over it with that big overflow pipe even in a hurricane.
Laying fabric would take the place of a good work-out and installing rock on such a long dam face is time consuming but worth it in the end. All looking good. Brush Commando is also providing another perspective of your work too which is great.
Heard you saying your gonna be done this week bet your happy!!! Me myself I can't wait until you move on to the next project more videos to come!!! Happy digging!!!!
loving this, but just a thought, if you syarted at the furthest point, your trips would be getting shorter as you went along. i know same time either way. but phsycalogically , better.
You know someone going to say, you need a wheel loader, still tear up the damn. Or a side dump, then your in and out of the equipment. Your right, just no good way. Looking good.
Your mini has done a lot of work for you in the past. But when you filled up the 350 bucket with your ditching bucket. It really shows how big your 350 is. I think this pond is as nice as Geoff's pond now. Time to start moving equipment again to the next job.
A good welder could fabricate a conveyor attachment for the dumptruck, with a hopper to dump into. This conveyorbelt could place the stone sideways, where you need it. Small gas or diesel engine with a hydraulic pump for the conveyor would do the trick to hook it to whatever dumptruck is available.
10 scoops to fill that monster size 350 bucket. That pond is filling quickly. The neighbors that lost their pond will soon have the new and improved pond
@20:15 "the young excavator caters to its ill mother trying to help nurture the mother excavator by helping feed it the nutrients it needs to get better as the mother excavator did for its offspring"
Put some fabric down half way down the dam, load the dump with rock, park on the fabric, scoop out the rock, then dump the last of the rock out of the truck on the fabric in front of the dam.
Now I understand where those turning front dump hoppers are good for. I also once saw a front end loader that dumped to the side for a highway building contractor.
Using the mini to load the 350 bucket really shows the size difference! Awesome job Chris!
Agree. Made that bucket look like a teaspoon.
Agree, perspective so evident soon as the mini showed up loading the 350 bucket.
It reminded of the time he used the mini to load Barney.
@@donpanzer5348 yep, the road project near his house, was just thinking about that.
That definitely woke me up....bigger all around machine than I thought..............
LOL mini loading the 350 - that's like watching a baby bird feed the mama bird.
Time lapse so good! The tamping down part was great. Why is that so satisfying to watch?!
Been with you for years now. Still loving it. 😊
Same here. It's my number one channel. 😊
Me too it's brilliant
Love the way the Pond Looks You Got Magic in your in your mine .and fingers ,👍👍👍👍
Really enjoyed watching the mini fill up the 350 - there is quite a bit of difference in the amount it can hold
That is a sweet start to the slicking up the finish dam and pond, that rock really gives it a really nice finish look plus being functional, I like it, thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
Chris is 'rockin an rollin'. Mini to 350 looks like a ladel filling a bucket. A very good repair job of a broken pond dam.
Your skills with those machines is awesome.
Love watching you fill the 350 bucket with the mini, just shows the size difference. Cheers from Australia.
Loving this project. One of Chris’s most interesting pond jobs.
Never realized the size difference between the mini and the 350. Thanks for showing that. Neat tools.
Love the time lapse tune, fits perfect. Some of the sand on the old dam would make excellent fish nesting location.
Good idea using the 350 as the dump truck, using the mini to smooth it out
Chris the rock makes a huge difference looks great also cool way to fill up the 350 bucket with strawberry.
Good old Strawberry Shortcake. Jason Works a Lot nailed that one!
Chris I know your uncle and parents are proud of how far you've come since you started and I also know it is a good feeling to the equipment to do any job you set your mind to do!!! Happy digging!!!!!
This is an amazing looking pond! Nice work Sir!
loading that 350 bucket with the mini is like loading the truck with the 220
That dam looks so nice. You build so well, the world could fall apart and that dam will still stand. Awesome job, Chris. Thank you for sharing.

That rock makes that dam look great
That trickling of the stone as you glide along the top of the dam at about 27:15 was fantastic. You should make that a clip.
I'd be doing the rock the same way. Chris, that's the best way to do it, place looks a world of difference since u started that project, awesome work, an thanks for sharing 🇺🇲✊👍🤙💪
When you think the mini’s bucket is a good size, when it loads the 350 you get a better idea of just how big the 350’s bucket is.😊
It's looking really good. Won't be long to be all wrapped up and on your way to your next one. Yep, she's sure looking good. Turtle's already have moved in. Nothing wrong with that. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦🐢🐢
Very nice job Chris!

Nice job with the rock 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸

#WHAT A #GREAT ending to my day, an unexpected video as I sit down to supper 😎
Pond dam is looking awesome!!!
🇨🇦 ❤The mini filling the bucket of the 350. LOVE IT!❤🇨🇦
Nice video Chris. The pond is looking great.
Most difficult project, clear, burn, dredge, plan and regroup, execute, absolutely on it. Thank you for this amazing show !
Mini scooping 1 cup at a time. Doing a good job. Bank looks great with the rock. Thanks Chris.
What a great job Chris. Thank you taken us on this journey with you.

Nice job spreading the rock Chris!
How are such dams actually regulated by law in your country or is everyone allowed to build whatever they like on their land? Greetings from Germany.
The untere Wasserbehörde here in good old Germany would die by heart attac, seeing anybody building a pond on their own 😂
@@martinfeldhoff45 Same here in New Jersey. The EPA, DEP ASPCA and just about every karen in town would have something to say about the build.
@@martinfeldhoff45 Exactly! And you have to rebuild it at once and you have to pay big penalty.

I hope one day you will be able to show this dam ,pond ,lake full of water it’s going to double the value of the surrounding houses
Thinking one of those off road tracked dump things with the bed that spins would work but you still have to finish with the mini thanks for the video 😊
WOW Chris you really did put pearls on that pig. The mini and the 350 is the real money shot. Great job.
Using the mini to fill the 350 really shows the size difference that is amazing and very cool👍😊
The right equipment makes a perfect job.
Watching you load the 350 with the mini reminded me of the guy writing his name with the tool used to load nuclear fuel rods back in the day.
The side dump trailer for an 18 Wheeler. That Mike had from dirt perfect. This is that one case where that might work

amazing spreading with the 350 the last few were , well incredible talent.
Looking good

Wull, goll dang'ya. Chiseling order out of chaos. She's shapin' up good.
Heard you saying your gonna be done this week bet your happy!!! Me myself I can't wait until you move on to the next project more videos to come!!! Happy digging!!!!
its crazy to watch the moon move in the timelapse...time flies when your playing with big toys
loving this, but just a thought, if you syarted at the furthest point, your trips would be getting shorter as you went along. i know same time either way. but phsycalogically , better.
Chris: Looks like you need a big smooth grading bucket for the 350 !??
The amount of tracking you do you’ll never have to worry about your track chain seizing up and kinking.
Thank you and have a great day.
Id say loading the dump truck would be better. Scoop it out of it. Less burning up your undercarriage. My opinion
You know someone going to say, you need a wheel loader, still tear up the damn. Or a side dump, then your in and out of the equipment. Your right, just no good way. Looking good.
U should look into getting a rock box. It holds alot and u drag them around with the excavator. We use them all the time at work.
Almost done😢
👏👏👏💯💯👏👏👏
Looks like you need to buy one of those little side dump trucks now for dumping rocks. 🤣
DAMN!!!! That 350 is BIG!
Your mini has done a lot of work for you in the past. But when you filled up the 350 bucket with your ditching bucket. It really shows how big your 350 is. I think this pond is as nice as Geoff's pond now. Time to start moving equipment again to the next job.
Side dump trailer works perfect for dumping on pond face or back side of dam…peace…
Fantastic Job 👍🏻
Just wanted to make one comment about the job the owner and you did a great job it is beautiful
One thing for certain the pond dam will be solid.
Chri, if you would have started at the other end, the rock placement would have gotten faster with each pass 😅 just funning you brother !
I wonder if you could have dumped that rock a tad closer to where you need it.
This series is a good one, chief! 😁
10 scoops to fill that monster size 350 bucket.
That pond is filling quickly. The neighbors that lost their pond will soon have the new and improved pond
Great job Chris!
Very nice job
the mini excavator bucket looks like a hand scoop shovel when Chris is dumping into the 350 bucket!!!
@20:15 "the young excavator caters to its ill mother trying to help nurture the mother excavator by helping feed it the nutrients it needs to get better as the mother excavator did for its offspring"
good pond video
Hi there from south Africa. I love this channel ❤
Put some fabric down half way down the dam, load the dump with rock, park on the fabric, scoop out the rock, then dump the last of the rock out of the truck on the fabric in front of the dam.
I laughed when you filled the 350 bucket with the mini ex, and thought of a swimming pool being filled with a teaspoon,. Looking good as always
I would suggest getting yourself a wheel loader for jobs like this.
The 350 to move it then the mini if you think you need to. ❤
Could a wheel loader with a side dump bucket be a better way of spreading stone?
Now I understand where those turning front dump hoppers are good for. I also once saw a front end loader that dumped to the side for a highway building contractor.
👍
The mini loading the excavator put's sh yt in prospective.
Well, if the dam wasn't packed down before, it sure as heck is now!
well you should have dump half the rock on other side of dam, LOL
20:30 WOW! lol
Looks so so so good😊😊😊😊😊
That was hillarious seeing the mini bucket dumping into the one for the 350.
took some time, but looks great !!
anyone remember when used mini with mud into old 220. I think it was the golf coarse dredging
Been there with you before BealyGood, retired, But I still smell the earth!
After traveling over the clay core with the haul truck and the 350, it should be very well compacted.
Solution to hauling rock around like that.....backhoe loader, then use the mini to make it look nice.
