Hi Chris, I cut the wires between the stator and the regulator/rectifier and joined their color to color through, some honda models have 2 green and 2 red wires leading out from the rectifier into the harness. On the AT the two green and two red become one green and one red inside the haness. I also fitted a Mosfet unit on my AT, I lengthened the stator wires leading into the rectifier and made up two new cables, one red and one black for the harness input. ( Battery 12 V ).
Hej i got problem with my RD07. The problem is cable positive from battery to starter (red box on your video) I realised that the fuse I completely melted but still works. I clean all burned cubes and was ok till I didn’t go for quick ride on the beach. I did not do well and the engine stopped. then I was no longer able to light the starter, it made a bzzzzzz sound, but the starter did not show a similar symptom as if the battery was weak. after an hour I was able to push the motorcycle onto the asphalt. managed to ignite the engine on the push. I turned off in front of the house and the engines started spinning normally again. What do you think about it ? can it be that the battery is already ejected? or maybe it is a problem of the power cubes
Hello, the best is to first have the battery tested, then you need to ensure the wiring and fuse are ok going to the rectifier, the three yellow wires go into a plug, this plug burns usually, connect them in any manner with each other,no order needed, solder them and close them up with heat shrink.then goto the starter relay and inspect the four wires, two red and one yellow and one green, put new lugs on as needed, once all your wires are good, test rectifier, minimum charge is 12.8 volt, the rectifier will get a bit warm, that is ok.i think your faulty wiring damaged the battery, before you put in a new battery, make sure all the wires are ok.Let me know how it goes please,or whats app me 0717802213.Frank
Good video. I have the MOSFET on my varadero xl1000. Did you cut the wires, going from the regulator to the battery?

@@FranksWay Thank u so much!
solder the wires with a soldering iron and there is never a problem
I fully agree with you, soldering is always best for a proper joint.
Hey Frank,
can you tell me what foot pegs you are using or generally what rally style pegs will fit on the RD07?
Best Regards from Germany
Heya..i ordered some from Startline, will ask them what brand they are and let you know..
