They are just putting my poor boy Jon through it. I hope the Brainic Queen gets what's coming to her. This really shows that the Titans especially Nightwing are really to take the mantle of world protectors. Also, Dreamer going out like an OG but how her powers work is it most likely alive.

@@Silas_Kow not the 1st time: during Bendis's run on Superman, he had a unoriginal OC named Rogol Zarr destroy the Fort along with the bottled city of Kandor!
And this is the most prideful batman has as a father as his son be a great leader.
The great things about this comic are Dick making a speech to make sure that the entire superhero community with find a at to defeat Waller and save the world and all the heroes fighting a brainwashed Jon Kent, the Brainiac Queen, and Dreamer.
I like that Dick made a speech to make sure that they won’t give into Waller and her sick, twisted plan on making the world a better place. This shows that he and the Titans should’ve been useful, since Tom Taylor’s Titans run didn’t do anything except for recycling various Titans storylines from the New Teen Titans run aside from Beast World, which is okay and better than Knight Terrors. Also, Bruce being proud of his son during all of this.
I also like that we get to see Clark being concerned about Jon, with Arthur confronting him since he knows what it’s like to lose a son (since Arthur lost his son Arthur Jr. to Black Manta in 1978, his other son Koryak during Infinite Crisis in 2006, and his prodigal son Garth in Blackest Night in 2009), before Clark encountered Jon (who is brainwashed by the Brainiac Queen and Waller) and tried to save him from harm. I hope that after this, we get to see Jon being more traumatized and scarred and that it caused him to never forgive himself after this, blame Waller for all of this, and to dump Jay Nakamura because he can’t do all of this anymore for the time being.
I even like that Dreamer decided to go full hero after seeing Jon like this, causing her to defy and betray Waller and sacrifice herself to defeat the Brainiac Queen and give the heroes time to recover.
Mark Waid has done excellent work on the writing because it shows that we get to see the heroes losing just after they were safe in the Fortress of Solitude. Same this with Dan Mora, whose artwork is brilliant. Let’s hope that the next two issues will be better. Overall, this comic is great!

Hurt so badly.They have to put him into a Is lazarus pit and he comes out younger (and angry & confused at the train wreck of his adult memories)
there's literally nothing left to do with him after everything else that's been forced on him, I can't even say he has a consistent character anymore.
they didn't do anything with the trauma charm of him being "aged up" or "becoming superman"
They'll probably Just fix him & skip over it.

@@israelleon1949 I think Dreamer might be dead as the Solicits don't show Dreamer alive anywhere! Unless of course, DC pulls the rug out from under us! As for Jon, it seems he MAY BE stuck as a Cyborg Superman of sorts post-Absolute Power

@@donaldallen9804 I dunno, DC Editorial seems to have GIVEN UP on Jon as his books didn't sell (Son of Kal-El and Adventures of Superman:Jon Kent). Maybe this is their way of putting him "on ice" (wink, wink) and back in the toy box so to speak?
Man Dan Mora just cooks with that art that just alone would get me to buy it reminds me of the 90s comics but overall awesome break down
First there was Brother Eye that Batman helped create which Max Lord used against superheroes. Then Failsafe, another creation of Batman. Batman never seems to learn when he creates these technological monstrosities. That being said, Absolute Power is turning out to be rather well written, all things considered.

John Kent being a cyborg I feel bad for John but I'm hoping it's not permanent and Nightwing is definitely a great leader and how the half of the heroes were arguing for who should be the leader and Nightwing shut them all up instantly and it shows that Nightwing should be the leader

I dig Supe’s black suit, peak 90s Superman. We just need the mullet back. The art is fantastic. Have Deadman, Metamorpho, or Etrigan made an appearance in this series so far?

The ending really made this an excellent comic !
Two problems though...
1) WHERE IS BARRY FOR GOODNESS SAKES !!!!!!!!!!!!!
2) So everyone was in disarray, but Neither Superman, Batman and Wonder woman adressed them ?! They waited for Nightwing !? No. That's ridiculous.
But, the ending with Oliver Queen was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL !!!

Wonder woman is a warrior. If she is angry, she can use the anger to give an epic pep talk and organize everyone.
And Batman doesn't argue why he should lead. HE JUST LEADS.
I'm not saying Nightwing can't come up with a plan, but no way everyone would be disorganized long enough for Nightwing to start the team meeting.
What happened in the comic wasn't very believable.
Appreciate this man, wanted to know if Jason todd was in the book before I bought it and I know he isn't. So thanks.
Superman comic back in his black & white suit is just perfection.
For DC Elseworld stories, I think their Game of Thrones Interpretation is the GOAT. DC Vampires had potential but they made a lot of weird calls that kinda break logic.
The narrator made a point of saying the Amazo are stealing powers and storing it somewhere so I already know what's going to happen at the end they're going to find out where the powers are being stored and someone's going to find out where it's located probably Batman let it loose and everyone will get their powers back at the end

All of this was peak! But there’s one thing on my mind. When’s the next issue of Batman Off World?
In the issue Absolute Power Tie In Batman #151. There is a strong reason why Waller did all this. Batman said, Is Waller hoping to make this her home. If... Waller has gained all the powers of heroes and metahumans. That's what I thought. So this is the exact reason why Waller is doing all this to start a new life for herself because judging by Absolute Power: Origins #1, she has lost everyone she loves. So she doesn't care what happens to the heroes and also human life after Waller gets everything she wants.
Could Amanda Waller or The Brainiac Queen be powering up Darkseid? Or maybe them gathering all this power calls him in?
Yes, going by the Solicits of DC All-in and Absolute Universe
Actually it has nothing to do with Darkseid. It can be seen in Absolute Power Tie In Batman #151. So in this issue Amanda Waller's real goal. Also Darkseid came to Main Earth actually because he was curious or realized that something was strange or changed in aspects of life. It can be said, what kind of technology can collect or steal the powers of heroes and where can a villain get such technology. I think that's what's going through Darkseid's mind.

@@MatthewLoh-ru1mw Actually, the DC All-in initiative has similarities to what Anthony Hopkins said as Sir Edward Burton in the opening of Transformers Last Knight "Magic does exist. It was found long ago, inside a crashed alien ship". And after that the Guardian Knight gave a staff to Merlin because Merlin really needed help. A Guard Knight said to Merlin, protect this staff one day the great evil will come for it. I think that's the answer to why Darkseid came to Prime Earth.

It has a feel of days of future past tbh but hamdled slightly better. Amazos as your shock troops is so unfair lol. After dark knights of steel this is definitely to tier on story telling.
