His governance, though rooted in Islamic principles, was characterized by pragmatic inclusivity, as he appointed Hindus to key administrative and military positions, acknowledging their loyalty and competence. His commitment to the well-being of all subjects, regardless of their faith, was evident in his efforts to ensure stability and prosperity for a multi-religious empire. Babur didn't come to India willingly. He had to come looking for a new home as after being expelled from Fergana, his life in Afghanistan under his uncle was fraught with dangers and constant conflicts. Moreover, what most people don't realize that he was invited to India, by Rana Sanga, a hindu Rajput king of Rajputana, who was then fighting to displace Lodhi (Pashtun) sultanate of Delhi. Babur had something that no one in india ever had before - a topkhana. Artillery cannons and guns. It was a new war technology and came to central asia via Mongols who learned it from Chinese who invented gunpowder. That gave Babur and his Mughal army a unique advantage over indian kings, both Lodhi and Rana Sanga, as they were still fighting in an old fashioned ways. Rana Sangram Singh ( Sanga) invited him for that reason to join together to defeat the Lodhis and in return Rajputs would help Babur take Fergana back. Babur accepted the offer. The battle that followed is called the famous 1st battle of Panipat. Lodhi came with a large old fashioned army of elephants and cavalry. Rajputs too came with their traditonal army, now joined by Babur and his mughals and their cannons. Their plan was that after defeating Lodhi Babur would be given an estate in north-western parts ( today's KPK) and half of the loot from the Delhi, while Rajputs would take the Delhi. Then Babur can build a bigger army with that money, take time to regroup and retake his home in Fergana Valley. But Babur presented some conditions to Rana Sanga for the battle. He said Rajput army would be in the front and do most of the fighting and mughals would support with cannon fires and fight in person only if required. Lodhi had a big army. Although he got defeated and got killed in the battle and most of his Pashtun army decimated, Rajputs also lost most of their army in the bloody battle. Babur after the battle saw that as an opportunity. His adviser famously told him that there were only two powers in North India who could fight him. One was delhi sultnate and Lodhi army who is no more. Another was Rana Sanga and Rajputs and they also have lost most of their army in the battle. Its a good opportunity to take the Delhi for ourselves. Another battle happened and remaining already largely destroyed Rajput army were routed and then Babur stayed on in Delhi, much safer place and very wealthy kingdom. Babr can then use it as a safe heaven to build a large army and then retake Fergana. His heart was always in Fergana and that's what he says in his autobiography- Baburnama. He was always home sick and missed his home. But Babur could not achieve his dream as just after taking Delhi, soon he died in an accident. And his son Humayun was defeated by Lodhis again and he took shelter in Rajputana. That was the beginning of Mughal-Rajput alliance. Humayun never forgot that favor and finally with their help again took Delhi. Rest, as they say is, history.

Indian Muslim rulers, historically, were often just and kind, contributing significantly to the subcontinent’s cultural and architectural legacy. Figures like Akbar, who emphasized religious tolerance and cultural integration, and others who supported the arts and education, played crucial roles in shaping a diverse and unified India. Their rule was characterized by pragmatism, respect for various communities, and a focus on governance that allowed for peaceful coexistence among different religious and ethnic groups. However, the portrayal of Muslim rulers by certain radical elements within the Hindutva movement, driven by a misguided sense of superiority, has often been distorted. These fringe groups seek to vilify Muslim rulers, painting them as tyrants or oppressors, solely to serve their agenda of sowing communal discord and fostering hatred. This agenda is rooted in an extreme ideology that seeks to divide rather than unite the people of India, ignoring the rich, shared history of cooperation between Hindus, Muslims, and other communities. This narrative is not only historically inaccurate but also dangerous. It fuels unnecessary divisions and undermines the unity that has been the hallmark of India's pluralistic society. The truth is that Muslim rulers, like many other rulers throughout history, acted within the complexities of their time. To use their actions as a basis to perpetuate communal hatred in the present is not only unjust, but also a disservice to the values of peace, tolerance, and unity that India stands for. In conclusion, we must reject the divisive rhetoric of hate and instead focus on the shared heritage that all Indians, regardless of their religion, can take pride in. It is crucial that we look at history with a sense of nuance and understanding, avoiding the temptation to reduce it to polarizing narratives driven by radical ideologies.

"India is a place of heat and dust, the soil is bad and the air is often oppressive. The people are different from us in every way and are unlike the men of Central Asia... I do not find India to be a good place, neither for my health nor my heart." "The people of India are weak in battle, and their soldiers are cowardly. They have no skill in war and no courage. Their armies are disorganized, and their generals are unskilled. In contrast to the warriors of my own land, their fighters are like children.":- Babur (from Baburnama) sorry i cannot admire this guy.
All the things related to Babur's emotions for his homeland and the appreciation he gets in return from the Uzbeks is very natural.. And we, Indians in general don't mind it at all...!! But the statement which the narrator gave at the end was hilarious and cringe in many ways... Where she blames it on the Britishers to divide the subcontinent on the religious lines.. to such an extent that she in a way accused Indians to have developed a nature to make opinions on the ground of religious affiliation(obviously because Babur and other islamic invaders are disliked in India unlike the Bangladeshis or Pakistanis)... She however forgot to read the very Babarnama she have quoted a zillion times in her videos... Babar may have loved his homeland but had no respect for India or its people... In Babarnama Babar many times mentioned India as a worthless land.. He never left an opportunity to look down upon the Indian people.. the people who were not muslims.. kufar.. demeaning them.. He futher go on to express his dissatisfaction with the weather.. even the flaura...!! He didn't stop there.. He had glorified his endeavors and rulings of destroying the sacred sights and monuments of the Indian people as the mark of triumph of Islam.. Predominantly Hindu Jain and Buddhist temples and monestaries, which are indigenous to the land of the Indian Subcontinent. #FACT And its just the Babarnama, I am talking here about.. didn't go into the contemporary sources of that era and even later historians for that matter who have researched intensively on Mughal History and their mindset.. which I am pretty sure Pakistanis have no access to and thus declare their confirmation bias with limited references as the Truth... Which the narrator of this video did...!! So, Miss we aren't blind with hatred... and we don't make opinions on few points that's suits what we propose... Our views on history is holistic... We see the impacts on society, culture, economics, living standards, freedom, conflicts, law and order etc... We know that Mughal Era makes a section of people especially the converts of the Sub Continent feel good about themselves.. But it won't change the facts associated with the phase of Islamic invaders in India... which is the cause of disapproval and dislike in views of the majority of people in India.. and we hardly care about what Pakistanis and Bangladeshis, if they deny to see the different aspects of a historic phase... which is what.. like 300 years... an insignificant number considering the civilisational history India has...!!!

This should tell you that he wasn't driven by any religious zeal and religion never played any role in his choice of enemies or wars. It was purely political.
Sarthak ,u r very naive brother, if u analyse current situation of world unbaisedly u will find ur thinking how wrong u r.. one has to be a sociopath to become a monarch but there was nothing personal for most of the incidents, just necessity of their work
@SkMesbah-r4r facts don't lie brother, he himself wrote about hi karnamei

Zahir ud deen Muhammed
He was Uzbek by ethnicity so ofcourse they will love him just like how the British love Winston Churchill whom Bengalis hate bcz he killed millions of Bengalis on one hand but defeated the nazis on the other similarly Babur killed millions of Hindus but he destroyed temples and idols making muslims very happy
There is no evidence to suggest whether he was actually uzbek as uzbek identity came later on most of central asians called themselves turk or turkmen . Moreover babur ruled in ferghana which is disputed region b/w uzbeks and kyrgz and he denied his mongol blood
Like my parents and grandparents before me I too can quote Robert Frost ,Shakespeare ,machiavelli and Nietzsche does that mean that everyone in India can do that and everyone likes them very much ?
Are there squares, statues and holidays named after them in India?
@@TareekhiTales well I’m sure you wouldn’t when his entire goal existence just meant that he was looking for a temporary base to get back to Ferghana and take back what was rightfully his in Uzbekistan.
Mughals are not too well liked in India, but even then, the first Mughal who was actually given some consideration was Babur’s grandson Jalal-ud-Din Muhammed Akbar because that chap actually tried to Indianize himself and tried to establish a connection to the land.
Yes please, video on how babur reached india
Here in India Government is portraying him as Anti-Hindu.. Despite having his relations with Rajputs and their alliances
But he was, his own writings is the proofs. Having alliances doesn't means love for other, aurangzeb had most hindu commanders but we know what he was
Mughal emperors were not other rulers, they live in India and mostly use resources in the Indian subcontinent
@FunLand78623 depend of which emperor, babur neither born nor buried in india and his views on india was so negative, Humayun also spend his early years outside india and after coming to india ran away and most of time lived outskirts of india. From akbar truly mughal was indianised to some what
@Jeet-2023 first of all Aryan invasion theory was debunked and if that happened even though there are no archaeological or written proofs of masscares, vandalism, and the theory is already debunked in every 10 years more and more evidences are coming opposing it, but your babur himself wrote about his karnamei, stop wasting time on commenting in half of time you wasted on commenting stupid thinks you can search about what babur did to indian
@@Jeet-2023 lol there is no proof of aryan invasion theory i agree on aryan migration theory but aryan invasion theory is utter bs literally no evidence to suggest they fought also Aryans came from yamnaya culture from eastern ukraine not from central asia moreover hinduism was born after aryan culture mixed with dravidians and austroasiatic culture proto indo europeans had different type of religion only some influence was left in hinduism. Also unlike babur and his companions culture the hinduism evolved through gradual process rarely through violence that islamic invasion did on india by destroying temples and stupas. Moreover Babur never considered himself part of this subcontinent go read baburnama he literally mock people of indian origin even those who were converted to islam he literally said indians or hindustanis know only how to fight in battle not abt winning the battle.

ashoka was not good person himself yes i agree with your other comment on babur and other turkic rulers how bad they were but ashoka was top tier hypocrite. It is a lie that is spread by indian historians that ashoka became buddhist after kalinga war but this is utter bs he was already buddhist before that acc to buddhist sources. In the name of buddhism he persecuted jains and ajivikas of india either for their beliefs or if they criticize buddhism. Overall he was tyrant who made a special chamber to torture people in his kingdom whom he consider dissidents he even k!lled his own brothers. His inscription which shows him merciful is complete propaganda during that time.
Chandragupta Maurya will be better choice than Ashoka as he started from nothing and laid the foundation of Mauryan empire.

That's why I called this video WhatsApp university. Aabhas clearly tells what he did to Indians (which this lady tries to hide)
Hey, I am from Agra, here is a garden known to be Arambagh(garden for Rest) which was made by Babur in 16th century but local and central Govt. changed its name to Rambagh on their mythological Hindu god Lord Rama.
Here in India, Both Government and Hindus Hate Babur, Mughals and other muslims rulers soo much and also called local muslims Babur ki Aulad(sons of Babur) , spread misinformation, bigotry and Hate against Babur, Demolished 16th century old mosque Baburi Masjid in 1992 and made Ram Temple over it and killed many muslims in Riots.
In last 10 years under PM Modi and his Hindutva Govt. Islamophobia and crime against muslims are all High.
"India is a place of heat and dust, the soil is bad and the air is often oppressive. The people are different from us in every way and are unlike the men of Central Asia... I do not find India to be a good place, neither for my health nor my heart."
"The people of India are weak in battle, and their soldiers are cowardly. They have no skill in war and no courage. Their armies are disorganized, and their generals are unskilled. In contrast to the warriors of my own land, their fighters are like children.":- Babur (from Baburnama) sorry i cannot admire this guy.
Yeah bro the ruling party is selling hatred to get votes
If you call their gods mythological isn't that hinduphobia....
Watch the video made by The Nomadic Professor about Babur. Nicely done 7 years ago. Get well Meesha 💐
Babur is an invader
Babur was not indian he was a central Asian ruler and belongs to the timurid dynasty
Btw nice clickbait you got me there
All the things related to Babur's emotions for his homeland and the appreciation he gets in return from the Uzbeks is very natural..
#FACT
And its just the Babarnama, I am talking here about.. didn't go into the contemporary sources of that era and even later historians for that matter who have researched intensively on Mughal History and their mindset.. which I am pretty sure Pakistanis have no access to and thus declare their confirmation bias with limited references as the Truth...
If subcontinent muslims started reading how much babur hated them and their blood they themselves would feel disgusted. Funny thing is they don't even realize babur m@sscre mslims of subcontinent also like b@j@ur m@ssacre where pathans were k!lled in huge numbers that tower of skulls were build..
