Nobody in India has heard about Mohamed bin quasim. Nor had anyone in Pakistan, until Zia decided to create a new history, with a new father of Pakistan. He was a very ordinary commander, and not just India, he is totally unknown and unheard of even in Iraq or Syria, which were his likely place of origin. Unlike Ghauri. Gazhnavi.. Babur or Abdali who are well known in Afghanistan, infact afghans consider Abdali as the founder ( fact) of modern-day Afghanistan. Similarly. Taimur is the national hero of Uzbekistan. But MBQ like everything else about Pakistan is a fake story, and a lie. Do you know the actual reason why MBQ attacked Sindh? Hint; It was something to do with your prophet's family. If you are a true historian, research that, and make a video on it.

Our parents always discouraged us to speak Punjabi and instead speak Urdu, now our kids speak English instead of Urdu. Not because we discourage our kids to speak Urdu but they watch cartoons etc. and they learnt it from there. Hence, I may say that many languages will die in next few decades.

There has been many history of sindhi that has been destroyed by the mughal and other invaders, as a Sindhi myself I doubt if our writing is based on Arabic but it's the opposite as the Arabs use to write in Greek or Egyptian letters and more of them could not read or write. And sindhi has more letters 54-56 compared to the arabic 24-26. Hopefully we could learn more together to find the real history of sindhi language. Just to add another side thought, the Persians were zoroastrian and their scripture is written in Sanskrit or they call Avastan language but written from right to left like sindhi lang and sound like it Sanskrit too.

Well, it is language that roots a person in his land, to his culture and history. Most importantly, to his ancestors. Without those roots, we become orphans. A Punjabi speaking only Urdu will never be a UPite, Arab, Iranian, afghan or Turk. He will be a nobody. None of those ethnicities will offer him the acceptance he so desperately seeks. And, such a person never gets the respect he deserves. One thing has to be said in favor of Pakistani Punjabis. They were fair. When they insisted on Bengalis accepting Urdu, they set the example by giving up their own language. If at all Punjabi survives and flourishes, it will be because of the Sikhs. Even Hindu Punjabis prefer Hindi and have the same attitude towards the language as Muslim Punjabis of Pakistan. In India, we haven’t yet given up on One Nation, One Language. We will keep on trying even if all odds are against such a concept. From such foolish policies, Pakistan was broken in two. Sri Lanka suffered decades long civil war and devastation. However, we are confident that one day we will surely Biharify the Madrasis successfully. What happened to you all will not happen in our Bharat. Not that we will love them more because they speak Hindi. That’s the truth.

Ancient Egyptians had specified north and south by the direction of flow of nile thats why the direction it was flowing from was north and the opposite direction was south i.e the direction of sea.

These changes in languages are nothing new. It happens in all languages all over the world. The French spoken in Quebec in Canada is quite different from the one in Paris. In France itself, tgd Parisian French will be different from spoken rural French in tone, intonation and stress. The best option for Indian Sindhis is to adapt the Devanagari script -and walk away from the Shahmukhi script - to make it easy and simple for youngsters to keep the language alive. The script is only for convenience. In India Marathi, Hindi, and Maithili and Awadhi are in the Devanagari script. Again. the Punjabi language are in two scripts, Gurmukhi in India and Shahmukhi in Pakistan .

Thanks for the detailed conversation on the Sindhi language. I'm not sure how accurate this survey is for India, but for Pakistan, I can speak with 100 percent certainty that it doesn't reflect the situation accurately. We have been working in Sindhi literature for the past 43 years, and Roshni Publication, one of the oldest Sindhi-based publishing houses in Sindh, has produced credible works on language and literature. Based on our extensive experience and ground observations, the number of Sindhi speakers has declined drastically. Currently, the per-edition book print runs are down to 400 copies. Nearly 90% of schools do not teach in Sindhi, and the subject isn't even offered in most schools now. The new generation is heavily influenced by Urdu, which dominates the media, schools, and social media. Despite serious efforts to preserve Sindhi, the situation is dire. I question the credibility of such surveys and whether they truly represent the ground reality. Language preservation is deeply influenced by political decisions, including regulation, enforcement, and education policies. Unfortunately, Sindh has yet to experience true people's democracy. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed your videos-they are insightful.

Educated people like you should feel sad that history of Punjab is not taught to Pakistani students. Not about politics of South India. Do you know with Pakistani favourite Ahmedshah a South Indian Muslim from area near Hyderabad faught till death without thinking of running away at Panipat. His name was Ibrahim Gardi.
