In Kerala, India Eid will be celebrated same day as Saudi. The first Mosque in the subcontinent is also built in Kerala during prophet Muhammad (PBUH) era

One thing to mention here is that non muslims were banned from going / entering to the celebration but they were heavily taxed for the expenditure (both for free gift to poor and celebration) in addition to jizya. Basically, the non muslims aja hindus were bearing all the lavish expenses. This was Mughal period for non muzlims. If its your festival, then why is that you loot others. Moghuls aka Shameless robbers.

Be realistic, do you think all the Muslims lived in luxury? There were Muslim and Hindu elites in Mughal court, and the vast majority of the population were either farmers or craftsmen.

I know many non-muslims will also watch this so just to give perspective!
The treasury was filled by taxing the peasants, which were majority non-muslims + non-muslims had to give islamic tax as well called "jizya"!
Now! the lavish spending was distributed among muslims but what is worst is the economical condition of the state(empire) at that time!
The GDP per capita during whole of the mughal era was negative which means the mughals were hording money and people of the state were becoming poorer by the day! what's eye opening is India's GDP per capita became positive for the first time after 900 C.E under British rule!! only time we had a negative GDP under brits were in 1913 - 1950 which coincided with WWII !
So conclusion! Mughals never ruled this land as their own but as a wealth extractors!
Source : Contours of the World Economy by Angus Madison!
Fun Fact: Mughals never called themselves as mughals in any of their books rather they used to call themselves Timurid , any guesses why?

JIZYA IS ONLY 1.25 PERCENT OF THE INCOME , OF THE NON MUSLIMS , & MUSLIMS HAVE TO PAY 2.50 PERCENT OF THEIR INCOME , AS ZAKÂTH ........
ONLY THE ABLE BODIED & HEALTHY NON MUSLIMS , SHOULD PAY THE JIZYA......
PREACHERS , FEMALE EARNING MEMBERS & THE SICK , ALONG WITH THOSE LIVING ON THE HILLS, ARE EXEMPTED , FROM PAYING THE JIZYA .......

Every empire did this. Look at Victorian England, the peak of British imperial power. The average Briton was still living in a slum and working in a cramped factory. So what, did their rulers not care about UK?
And to be specific: the Mughals called themselves "Gurkani".

It’s quite telling that the emperor needed to have a parade route set up for him to create an atmosphere of celebration…as the majority of people in his realm wouldn’t have been.
