I’m still struggling how to get a unzipped file for it I’m on a HP laptop and it runs fine but then it told me that I was missing a file I re downloaded it and it still said it was missing the. I found out I need to run it on a unzipped file but the issue with that is what you showed how to get the archive stuff and put it in the file it does not say that for me any help would be massively appreciated

The installation part was useless to me, but the part that really sparked my attention was the modding section. I never realized finding mod conflicts was so easy.
TO CLARIFY: There IS a difference between Borderless Windowed and Fullscreen. Borderless Window = Maximized Window, provides a Fullscreen experience with multi-tasking AT A PERFORMANCE HIT (depending on your system, and the resource draw of the game, this hit may not be huge). *Increases input latency. Fullscreen = Dedicates system resources and hardware priority to the application. Multi-tasking is put on hold in the background as the Fullscreen application takes precedence. This can increase performance, provide better frame-timing consistency from the GPU, as well as 100% compatible with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology such as Nvidia G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync. *Reduces input latency.
@@ossihurme7572 I have a delay when switching tabs on fullscreen mode. The delay is a blackscreen for a few seconds, this applies to other games I put to fullscreen mode too.
@@shadowstorm7548 gotta download better RAM and an m.2 drive, the dtuttor between switching windows is normal, your computer just needs the extra time to unload and load what youre looking at

Not sure if you’ll see this but thank you so much. I’ve been alive for 23 years and gaming for 17. All 17 of those years have been spent playing console games, I got into stalker very recently since they just released the trilogy on xbox and found anomaly by happenstance. I have a pretty old desktop that I wa able to get this working on thanks to you!! Hopefully this begins my journey transitioning to pc full time. Once I’m able to get a newer more powerful one. Sorry to hear that my friend, that problem is almost always due to an addon or addon conflicts. You can try to guess which one is the problem by looking at crash logs (in appdata/logs, i think). Otherwise I would test by putting in one addon at a time until you find which ones are causing the issue.
When I started playing the game three sections of some type of HUD thing popped up. I believe the section in the middle was called "actor info". I know I'm 4 years late but I would be extremely grateful for the help.

Could I ask about the tools folder seen at 2:20 I'm trying to modify some artefacts and the only place I can find the file is in there when I unpack something it gives like all the game files and the ones I need but it feels like they should have been unpacked automatically in the gamedata folder ect but when you look in the items folder in there it's blank unless mods are in there. Not sure if I explained this correctly. I edited an artefact in the tools unpacked thing and no change I then moved the file to where it should be when u unzip stalker anomaly and it worked made it op so I could notice it working.
Yeah when you unpack the files they end up in the tools folder inside another folder called “_unpacked” Thats just how it is. From there, you’d copy over files from that to the gamedata folder, including whatever folders the files in contained in (configs, items, etc.)
it took me 4 hours to download, 8 hours (to extract out of the archive) and 10 minutes (to transfer from archive to folder) to extract the game, i am speechless

And usually fullscreen allows you to "tab" out of it just fine. There are rare cases when planets are aligned when you can't get back into game.

I'd avoid the magazine mod for now. It's buggy as all hell, and will eventually break your saves
