This is genuinely one of the best guides I've ever seen for anything, not just a game. I can tell a lot of effort and passion went into this. Thank you.
It would also obscure a lot of topics which you can ctrl + F search. I left this decision with the community when the video was released and the consensus at the time was that the expanded list was fine. After immediately dying from mutants, invisible anomalys, and being stuck by lightning just outside of Rookie Village, it was clear i needed some help. I found your video and it helped so much, thank you for making this!
Mostly invisible anomalies. My first death was from an invisible anomaly right at the entrance of the free territory. This game really knows how to throw a curve ball at you m
No anomalies are invisible, all have telltale signs, both visual and aural. Take it slow, pay attention, especially in new areas. Burners in particular are lethal because they do huge damage (often a 1-shot death), and the air shimmer which signals their location can be hard to spot while moving.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie I mostly die to both of them as they are hard to spot while running. And while shimmers are survivable, they still hurt a lot so in my first run they cost me my last pack of medical kits and I died in the following gunfight because I had no medical kits.
What a complete, clear, useful and immersive guide. Felt like reading new PS2 games guidebooks on the backseat of the car already jumping into the story before starting it at home. Thanks for all your work man, this is an epic manual ! You could even teach fluid mechanics doing it like this
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie I have no such luck, but then again, I try to stay away from Populated Campfires. There's a Few that spawn AI, but there's a Few that Don't. There's a Good one in the Corden by the Entrence to Medows, and there's another good one in Jupiter that no AI spawn around that's relatively flat.
Idk, there's nothing like packing the instruments up and finding a secluded spot to camp. There's an emission or psystorm like every other day, and you can really get a good view from the poptart-sized window in the back of the tent.
I am a veteran stalker but to be honest i learned few things on the way. This probably the most in depth insane tutorial i've ever seen. For new players might be overwhelming but its fucking amazing.
Don’t be discouraged, a lot of it will come naturally as you play. The video is a resource to return to when you need more info about something. Good hunting, Stalker 👍
Without you, I would not have known how to play Anomaly and, perhaps, would have discarded the game at all. The best tutorial I have yet seen. Thank you!
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondieIt certainly was time well spent for me watching the video. I just completed the OGSR mod and moved on to Anomaly. @@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Thanks bud! But many props to you for a very well put together guide! This stuff is great and the STALKER community will greatly benefit from it :) More people need to see this!
I'm thankful enough already and didnt even watched the whole vid. Also this will serve for years as really helpful content. Thank you. Will be saved for the moment i finished all three main Parts. After that i think Anomaly will be a good addiction for some time. Since u guys are like Veterans of this game... any Infos or Insiders about some online features for anomaly? Or is it meant to be singleplayer for ever? (if you coincidently see this xD)
@siegwardofcatarina9763 Cheers! 🍻 There’s a multiplayer mod in development. It’s currently functional but barebones from what I understand. Honestly, Stalker 2 will beat them to the punch. Hopefully it allows for co-op pve because the pvp thing ain’t my game. If it were, I’d be playing Tarkov 😋

At first I was 1:33 for a tutorial!? Im not gonna watch this all the way through. And now here I am completely engaged in the video. Thank you sir you are a great teacher. I would of lost interest if anyone else did this in 15mins.
Appreciate the feedback, cheers! 👍 Check out the Loner to Legend challenge if you want examples of these systems in action. Or watch to laugh at me because I start with no items 😆
Really wish I found this video before blundering through my first few days of Anonaly. This is a professional quality tutorial that should be on the official mod page.
When you're close to the flea market you will meet a zombie on your right by some concrete and a ditch, be sure to look around that area, there's a strong energy drink, some i.e.d's and a shovel, just mind the green bubbly shit!
A new Stalker here, this game is really overwhelming but its deserve the effort to understand it and give it a go, And your tutorial give me some confidence to go out to it, also your video have the vibe of specialized Trainer in the zone I was so immersed ! Thank you.
For a guy with motion sickness, the less time I have to spend familiarizing game mechanics, the more time I can spend enjoying the game. This video was bloody fantastic, and may the odds be in your favor, stalker.
Just started out Anomaly. Absolute Rookie in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series even tho i watched tons of videos.. played all metro parts for the ''total-setting-immersion'' played SOC and COP (bare with me for leaving out Clear Sky. With all i know about this game + all i've heard i would just scream. Looking forward to a good addiction for my evenings after work and maybe one or two sleeples nights.
An absolute MUST WATCH for any wanting to delve into this superb game! 1:33:46 packed with a ton of concise, logical and excellently presented information. Massive kudos to you!
I rarely comment on RUclips but this is the greatest overview I've ever seen for a title in 35 years of gaming. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this, it's incredible!
I went almost blind playing this with only few playthrough of Call of Pripyat experience on my hand. The first time i got out, i die by 2 boars attack in 2 hit. Then by random anomaly, radiation poisoning, and many other things. All of that happen near my starting point and it happens constantly I feel like don't want to play the game but i found your video and you explains it pretty well. Now i'm getting the feel and skilled enough to survive in the Zone with my SMG user build. Thank you
Yeah man, Cordon is deceptive. It’s a starting area, but it’s still very harsh to new players. Even experienced Stalkers can easily come unstuck there. Glad to hear that you’re persisting with it. It *does* get easier as you learn more about the natural cycles of the Zona. Check out my Loner to Legend series for more survival tips. 🤘
somebody else already wrote it.. but if every game guide was this detailed and planned trough and trough it would be a lot easier to get a grip on new, more complex games. thank you for this content!
Thank you ever so much for this guide mate, and i mean that in the sincerest way possible. As a new player to the stalker series (currently playing through the trilogy at the moment) this has been invaluable to me. Bravo indeed 😁
This really is the Ultimate Beginner's Guide/Tutorial, well done! I just want to add that there is a benefit to combining items with multiple uses into one. For example, a bottle of water with two uses and a bottle of water with one use can be combined into a bottle of water with three uses, which actually reduces the weight, because you sort of discard the second bottle.
Such a brilliant guide, best one I've ever come across for any game! Been playing Anomaly for about two weeks and its the most fun I've had in any game. I love the slow pace, the slow progression, the harshness, the atmosphere. I dislike games that hold your hands and Anomaly certainly don't do that.
Cheers mate 👍 Stalker is having a windfall thanks to Stalker 2 and popular mods like GAMMA which are doing the rounds. Let’s be real though, Stalker has always had a devout following.
I happened across this game on RUclips (thanks algorithm!), and was watching some lets-play stuff when this video started running. Absolutely fantastic job of explaining what seems like literally everything a totally new player might need! I'm going to be firing up the game for the first time tonight, and feel confident that this info will help me tremendously. Very well done, sir!
Thank you so much for this guide! I've never played any of the original stalker games before playing anomaly, and this has helped a lot. At the very beginning I thought this game might not be for me, mainly due to crashes, bugs, and seeming confusing, but with your guide, and just playing it a little more, I'm finding it to be so much fun. I love the atmosphere, the pace, the inventory management, and so many other mechanics. If the original stalker games are close enough to this I will probably play them as well.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie I was able to catch myself before it got out of hand, but it is so good that I started to stay up too late playing, and postpone or cancel parts of my morning routine. I love the game though. I think about it often when I am not playing it. Just discovered those underground telekinesis things and if that isn't the scariest thing\environment the game has to offer, my heart isn't looking forward to what is next.
Advance tip: When going further north, no preparation is too much when going up against Monoliths. They are likely the most hardy faction you'll ever meet. This goes even harder if you plan to disable a certain machine. Don't underestimate a good pistol and you can put them in your knife slot. After coming out onto the "Barrier" from Radar, the only reliable (and loaded) gun I had was the FNX-45(custom), a .45 ACP pistol that got me through like 14 monoliths, granted I did have a Nosorog for bullet prot, some drugs and grenades. Oh, and bring 'some' AP rounds or just high AP in general, those will help a lot. And also you have to bring some maintenance tools, a little more food & drinks than usual and some camping supplies (a bag and tent) for extended trips. Within enemy territory, expect every roof, housing an enemy and every sleeping spot you find, an enemy camp. (Tents can protect you from Blowouts and Psy-emissions, but your allies won't fit in there) The Monoliths often use NATO guns, so 5.56, 5.7, and some others, so use some guns that can use these if you don't want to resort to broken guns.
Quick tip: Segment the videos description like this Intro (0:00) Content (5:00) Outro (10:00) It will segment the video into chapters which show up in the video-player bar
I just started playing after watching Operater Drewski play stalker anomaly, and I have been looking for a guide and I must say your video is great and has significantly helped me better survive in the game.
THIS is exactly what I was looking for!!! All the other guides/tutorials are messy and at the end is just a guy playing trough the game doing stuff quickly and barely explaining anything...Thank you very much for very well made guide, concise and very much informative! I'm completely new to the stalker games, and this video has been MASSIVELY helpful. Thank you again!
Cheers! 🤘 I struggled to find a guide like this when I first started, hence the reason I made this. I’m glad people are finding their way to it and that it helps 👍
First time Stalker and Anomaly player here and I want to thank you for this detailed and informative guide. It helped me understand how all the complicated systems work. Without it I would probably never play the game. Thank you so much!
Cheers, thanks for checking out the guide and giving Stalker a chance. The more people that enter the Zone and become Stalkers, the more likely GSC are to continue the Stalker franchise 🤘
Have been playing vainilla Stalker for some time, and now I finally made the jump to Anomaly.... Good lord, there's so much to lern, i felt overwhelmed in game. This guide is a blessing for all the new anomaly Stalkers, thanks
I'm not new to stalker anomaly but this is what you call a guide! You are not trying to teach new stalker players with experience in other games, you are trying to teach anyone, INCLUDING people that are new to gaming. Good job, you got yourself a new sub.
Thanks! I'm a veteran of two old STALKER games and the Metro LL series. But I last played STALKER over 3 years ago. Thought I could jump into Anomaly right away. No, I could not. This was maybe the third beginner guide I watched, Put it off because it was a little long. Turns out I REALLY needed this. Best rookie Guide out there. Many Thanks !! (a new subscriber)
Thanks man, really happy you gave the guide a chance. 🤘 I hit the same wall when I first started and this video was a response to the lack of centralised info for beginners.
Stalker vet, still watched all the way thru just because how well the video was put together. Appreciate it for new players wish I had I guide like this when I started.
I'm new to this franchise just got GAMMA and I've gotta admit I'm a little intimidated by the depth. this tutorial is invaluable and I thank you for the obvious amount of time and effort that went into it...cheers
Cheers! 👍 GAMMA is a different beast, it was intended for Stalkers who knew Anomaly well and wanted to lift their game. This guide will help, but GAMMA has some fundamental differences around stripping gun components, keeping gun components and weapon condition high, and even the condition threshold which cleaning equipment will work on. I recommend base Anomaly and completing the first storyline before jumping into GAMMA. Either way, good hunting, Stalker.
The use cover at the end made me chuckle a bit as I was playing today and was in the great swamp and almost caught a stray bullet by the pump station. Not even in combat just a military from across the map fighting something shot in my direction and I could hear the bullets hitting the metal around me.
It's been years since I played S.T.A.L.K.E.R., previously leaning towards Misery mod- this is a great guide for those of us jumping back into the ZONE after many years away. Thank you!
Update: I've been basically playing nothing but Anomaly for a year. Because of this guide, I now am cool, smart, good looking, rich, with lots of friends and a garage full of Lamborghini exo-suits. 10/10 guide content.
I really like the way the repair and upgrade system works except for how limited the use of toolkits are. Like you have to use 2 clothing workshop kits to fix a jacket. If it was 1 use per repair and not 1 use consumed *per component replaced* it would be a lot more manageable. It makes the constant supply of toolkits you have to buy not worth the trouble at all because you may as well just pay him to repair your equipment. Or maybe if once you've upgraded a technician to expert tools you no longer require all these specific toolkits because they have every possible tool in the game you could ever need. I think the system needs some rebalancing in this matter. Great video by the way!
Cheers! 🤘 The system definitely isn’t perfect, but it’s more serviceable than that. Supportive material during repairs can maximize the use of repair kits, and I’d argue that you shouldn’t repair without supporting components. It’s also possible to craft the repair kits if you know what you’re doing and are collecting valuable loot during the game. Repairing early gear isn’t as economical as more expensive late-game gear.
Hey @Blondefire from the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you. This guide has helped me so much. I had just gotten the game and had a very hard time figuring out what stuff is and what I should be doing, it was overwhelming. This guide was really able to help me calm down and take things slow. I now can't atleast say I know the basics and can work my way through the zone trying to become a true survivor. Thanks again stalker!
Hey, thank you so much, I really appreciate it! If you want an idea of how the first handful of days will look, check out season 1 of the Loner to Legend challenge on this channel. The run is geared toward crafting, but it will give you a good idea of what to focus on and what to expect.
No worries! 🤘 Check out the Loner to Legend playthrough if you want to see all the systems in action. I’ll mention here that the visual quality of eps 1-5 is poor, but I dial things in by ep6 onwards 😊
im several years behind on this game and just learned about it a couple weeks ago. Man what a learning curve...this tutorial was a huge help. im very much enjoying this game so far as its damn near what i have been looking for in a game lately.
thank you so much for your in depth, easy to follow guide. It's long but man you presented in such an digestable way. thanks a ton for the hard work you put into creating this guide.
Thank you for this guide, I played Stalker Call of Prypiat when I was a kid, so I don't remember anything about the game. Very useful, I was dying all the time in the starting point haha
You're a genius, sir. You deserve way more subscribers and views. Very in-depth guide. Helped me a ton. Thank you so much for putting in this much work for a single video.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie i watch this video 3 times over cause of all the keybinds, controlls and mechanics! Its very worth every minute! I just struggle with what to sell and what to keep but ill try my best. :)
Unless you’re using the crafting system then you can safely sell most items. Use the technicians to repair and upgrade your gear, and purchase everything else from vendors. When you’ve got a handle on the basics, challenge yourself to begin crafting things. That’s when you’ll need to pay closer attention to which items you can sell, and which you should keep.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondiethank you, ill try to use this. I play stalker the very first time and i definitely want to use crafting. Ill really watch this over amd over just to burn all this informations inside of my brain. xD
Thanks man, that really helped me out. I've just started my journey into Anomaly, after I have not played a Stalker game for the past 5-10 years. I am a few hours in and I dont think I''ll be leaving Cordon any time soon. XD
I feel you, that was me when I first started 😂 Cordon is dynamic enough that a lot can happen in the starting area. I’d encourage heading into Garbage and picking up a decent shotty and some hunting tasks from Butcher. Shottys are OP in vanilla, and Butcher sells them and buckshot crazy cheap. Pick up a nice hunting knife while you’re there.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Thanks for the tips. I will definitely be going this way then, as I also just managed to form a party with two Duty guys who have better equipment than me, so it's adventure time while they are around :D Was trying to loot one of them, thinking he was dead, accidentally healed him and had the dialogue afterwards to ask him to join me. He had a buddy so now there is 3 of us XD. I have a question actually.. I am neutral to freedom, but my buddies are enemies with them. If we meet freedom patrol, will my companions attack them and if they do, will I have worse reputation with freedom? Also, will my buddies turn on me if we me stumble upon military? Tnx
Unless you have a modded game, your companions maintain their faction alliances and enemies. They’ll attack Freedom, and they wont defend you from anyone that Duty are allied with but Loners aren’t. It’s probably easiest to get allies from your own faction. At least you know where you stand with them.
best guide i ever saw. Been Stalker fan from day one of first installment and gone through all of them with multiple mods, but Anomaly is just... massive. Best Stalker experience up to date, dream of every Stalker fan out there. GSC will have a tough cookie to crack and make Stalker 2 better or at least even, as graphics is not everything. I hope they manage and in couple years we have something similar to Anomaly but on Stalker 2 and UE shell. Safe Zone Stalkers!
dude THANK YOU!!! So much... this guide was invaluable to me as someone who has never played a stalker game. My extensive survival game experience an time in EFT did almst NOTHING for me in this. I cannot thank you enough! Well made, informative and easy to understand even for someone who has never played a stalker game.
You’re welcome, Stalker. 🤘 Yeah, Anomaly is a completely different bag to EFT. They seem similar, but the gameplay is different. The environment is out to get you more than any Stalker 😋
An extremely good and helpful video I wish it was shorter since I really wanna get to playing STALKER but I understand the long time since there really is a lot to the game
What an excellent guide! I've been trying to get into Anomaly for a pretty good while now, but always felt a little overwhelmed with all the new stuff (crafting related, etc). Coming from Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat to this, so most other things were already very familiar to me. Now I just got fed up, searched up a guide and ended here. Thank you for taking the time to make this! Take my subscription, stalker!
I've been on and off playing stalker for years, been some time since I played anomaly and this guide did a great job at refreshing what I already knew. Nice!
Great guide compiling all the basic stuff you need not to die or go broke instantly. Anomaly can be harsh at the very start but it's a brilliant game. Probably the best I played since the original series. Defintely gonna keep me busy till the STALKER 2 comes out.
Thanks mate. The opening hours usually decide whether people will like Anomaly, and it’s harsh enough without the overwhelming amount of items, options, and icons. I’m glad that the guide is drawing new people to this mod. I’d love to see Anomaly expanded, and if we can drum up the interest then I’m sure more modders will jump onboard.
In order for timestamps to show up in the actual timeline, you need to use Name - time As in Tips - 1:32:36 Putting it inside brackets doesnt work, you must use dash - Also have to start with 0:00 always
The format is okay, it's because there are well over a hundred timestamps that they don't appear in the timeline. There's probably a hard limit on how many a video can have.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie highly appreciated, I’m absolutely positive about if it wasn’t for you and this amazing introduction on things I know I wouldn’t of been around to even see any of this beyond all that didn’t even know the game was modify friendly! I’m subbed and excited on what you may bring. Come up with next I have my eyes opened for sure buddy!
Bandits are particularly bad, their weapon condition is always worse than many other factions. You can play around with weapon condition drops if you don’t like it. There are plenty of mods to customize it too.
After watching this guide I downloaded the game yesterday and started today. Woweee this is IMMERSIVE as hell! Few questions. I'm running missions for wolf and the other guys. I have 30k roubles saved up. What's a good gun and armor to buy from Sid outside the rookie village. I want to get more experience before I follow the main quest line right now. Man this game is so good! Can't believe this is free content.
Awesome, glad to have you in the Zone! I would grab a pump-action shotty from Butcher in Garbage. Shotguns in vanilla are very powerful against anything, and shot is cheap. Decent armour will cost more than 30k, but anything in the medium armour range should see you into the mid-game. Once you frequently come up against high caliber weapons, it’s time to upgrade again.
Thank you so much for this work. It's fine that the chapters aren't working. I still consider this to be THE essential guide video to getting into the game from the perspective of someone that has never played Stalker before. You can go back here, or elsewhere to get little questions answered once you are going, but I got to walk into the game with a clear sense of direction and much less trepidation because of this.
I find myself returning to this video frequently, and have seen most of it several times - even before I began playing anomaly. It continues to prove invaluable, especially when it comes to the new mechanics. Anomaly has proven to be much harder than I anticipated. I set my progression difficulty to scavenger, thinking that it wouldn't be too bad in the beginning, but would add a nice amount of difficulty. I was too optimistic: nearly all of my time has been spent scraping together cash to buy just enough ammo and medical equipment to keep myself alive; I can only afford the bare minimum! After doing a bunch of missions around Cordon and the Garbage, I finally (last night) pulled together just enough money for an AK-74ASU in good condition, plus enough ammo to keep me feeling secure. I still have the default PM as my sidearm, and a few magazines worth of ammo, and (unlike the original STALKER games) just having that sidearm ready has saved my life on multiple occasions when my primary ran out of ammo or jammed. I'm back to being broke, but I think that things are finally about to pick up for me. Either that, or the Zone will claim me.
Glad to see that you’re using the video as intended 👍 The Scavenger economy can be rough, especially in the beginning when you’re scraping cash together and everything costs so much. It boils down to efficiency and optimal use of your equipment. Some battles are best left unfought. It’s also the most rewarding difficulty because nothing feels more earned than finally scraping together enough scratch to afford that shiny rifle or medium armour you’ve been drooling over since you first spotted it.
I just installed the game. I’m hyped. Been wanting to experience a stalker game for years & I thank you for making this guide. I’m watching it before I start my first run.
Just got back into Stalker after a few years off. Probably played 500 hours+ of Vanilla SOC (and Paradise Lost mod) COP. Bought special box sets etc back in the day including a tin that has a Zippo lighter!.. A mate told me they are still modding Stalker so here I am back in the zone! I'm blown away by the improvements over the beginning versions. Awesome guide man.

After immediately dying from mutants, invisible anomalys, and being stuck by lightning just outside of Rookie Village, it was clear i needed some help. I found your video and it helped so much, thank you for making this!
Glad it helped 🤘
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie yeah I have quite i bit more experience now and the burner ones are definitely one of the hardest to spot
This is without doubt The Greatest S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Of All Time. ' man, ! '
This guide has the same tempo as a new-hire training video, but for a game. Very effective, and thorough. Thanks for making this.
Thanks, and you’re welcome 👍
What a complete, clear, useful and immersive guide. Felt like reading new PS2 games guidebooks on the backseat of the car already jumping into the story before starting it at home. Thanks for all your work man, this is an epic manual ! You could even teach fluid mechanics doing it like this
Thank you, Stalker, I’m glad it was helpful! 🤘
Additional Tip. Tents can offer a Safe Sleeping Place in absolutly any location, and can allow you to survive an Emmission or Psy Storm.
I hear they also make pretty good bullet shields.
I pretty much only play for the tent immersion tbh.
Placed tents tend to move around a fair bit, they’re easy to jostle which is annoying.
Cheers mate, much appreciated 🤘
i have never played a stalker game in my life and starting now after this colossal tsunami of information is hard...
You’re a fly on the wall compared to this guy
Don’t be discouraged, a lot of it will come naturally as you play. The video is a resource to return to when you need more info about something.
Good hunting, Stalker 👍
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie the video is wonderfully made and very useful, thanks and good job
Without you, I would not have known how to play Anomaly and, perhaps, would have discarded the game at all. The best tutorial I have yet seen. Thank you!
Thank you, Stalker 🙏
I cannot imagine the amount of time you took to prepare and make this super comprehensive guide. Thank you for the effort, sir. Thumbs up!
Thank you, I’m glad people are finding it useful. If it gets more people playing Anomaly then it was time well spent 😊
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondieIt certainly was time well spent for me watching the video. I just completed the OGSR mod and moved on to Anomaly. I was playing the game stumbling around in the dark, not fully understanding it's mechanics. Now I know thanks to your video. I can now be more efficient doing things in the zone armed with the knowledge.
Game On and Rock On, Blondefire 💪
Hail the Metal, Stalker 🤘🤘
Hey man, stalker veteran here and was brought to this video by Searge. Great video, perfect all-in-one explanation of the game. Good job!
Sixx is here!!! Thank you so much, that means a lot, mate. I love your content, always waiting for the next vid to drop.
@siegwardofcatarina9763 Cheers! 🍻
There’s a multiplayer mod in development. It’s currently functional but barebones from what I understand. Honestly, Stalker 2 will beat them to the punch. Hopefully it allows for co-op pve because the pvp thing ain’t my game. If it were, I’d be playing Tarkov 😋
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie ... a Multiplayer is IN DEVELOPMENT???? gosh this community is bless. Long may the sund shine above y'all. Seeing forward to the online PVE cause u already told it. Ain't that thing... otherwhise Tarkov is already there.
you have all my respect for this video, absolutely an masterpiece of a guide/tutorial, im trying to get into stalker anomaly again and i forgot quite a few things for overall surviving in the zone, thank you so much for your help :D
Cheers, glad it helped! 🍻
At first I was 1:33 for a tutorial!? Im not gonna watch this all the way through. And now here I am completely engaged in the video. Thank you sir you are a great teacher. I would of lost interest if anyone else did this in 15mins.
Appreciate the feedback, cheers! 👍
Check out the Loner to Legend challenge if you want examples of these systems in action. Or watch to laugh at me because I start with no items 😆
Very well made, played the original stalker games many times and a bit of anomaly too. This video helped a lot. My thanks
Cheers 🍻
Really wish I found this video before blundering through my first few days of Anonaly. This is a professional quality tutorial that should be on the official mod page.
Cheers, I appreciate that 👍
This is an incredible guide! So well structured and professionally edited. Thank you!
Cheers! 🍻
Tip: When u first spawn ( As a Loaner ) if u explore the starting village you can find a couple of canned beans 👍
There are stash locations in and around Rookie Village which can give you an early leg up.
When you're close to the flea market you will meet a zombie on your right by some concrete and a ditch, be sure to look around that area, there's a strong energy drink, some i.e.d's and a shovel, just mind the green bubbly shit!
Is that the spot at the bottom of the hill near the cyclindrical tanks?
A new Stalker here, this game is really overwhelming but its deserve the effort to understand it and give it a go, And your tutorial give me some confidence to go out to it, also your video have the vibe of specialized Trainer in the zone I was so immersed !
Thank you.
Cheers! 🍻
For a guy with motion sickness, the less time I have to spend familiarizing game mechanics, the more time I can spend enjoying the game. This video was bloody fantastic, and may the odds be in your favor, stalker.
Thanks man, glad it helped! 👍
Thank you! 🤘
57:05 Secondary tasks have no time limit, however, a recipient (regular stalker) might die when wandering somewhere, causing you to fail.
I rarely comment on RUclips but this is the greatest overview I've ever seen for a title in 35 years of gaming.
Thank you for the time and effort you put into this, it's incredible!
Cheers, that’s greatly appreciated! 👍
I went almost blind playing this with only few playthrough of Call of Pripyat experience on my hand. The first time i got out, i die by 2 boars attack in 2 hit. Then by random anomaly, radiation poisoning, and many other things. All of that happen near my starting point and it happens constantly
I feel like don't want to play the game but i found your video and you explains it pretty well.
You’re welcome, my friend. Thank you for the kind words! 🙏
Thank you ever so much for this guide mate, and i mean that in the sincerest way possible. As a new player to the stalker series (currently playing through the trilogy at the moment) this has been invaluable to me. Bravo indeed 😁
Cheers! 🍻
Glad it helped.
Cheers mate 👍
Absolutely, combining items reduces weight in most cases. I mention this a fair bit in the Loner to Legend series 😊
22:08
he does mention that
This is still very helpful in 2024! thank you so much!
I’m glad you like the guide!
There’s a great satisfaction to progression in Anomaly because it feels earned, that’s the hook for me.
The absolute best tutorial made for a game in my opinion. And it also surprise me that there's still people playing this game nowadays, that's amazing
Cheers mate 👍
Stalker is having a windfall thanks to Stalker 2 and popular mods like GAMMA which are doing the rounds. Let’s be real though, Stalker has always had a devout following.
I'm downloading the game right now and while I'm waiting I couldn't have found a better intro for beginners, thank you!.
You’re welcome ☺️
I happened across this game on RUclips (thanks algorithm!), and was watching some lets-play stuff when this video started running. Absolutely fantastic job of explaining what seems like literally everything a totally new player might need! I'm going to be firing up the game for the first time tonight, and feel confident that this info will help me tremendously. Very well done, sir!
Cheers, glad it helps! 👍
Glad you gave Anomaly a shot! 🤘
What I wouldn’t give to able to experience those moments for the first time again. ❤️
THIS!!! ..... is a guide, i wished for, when stumbling over Anomaly. thank you so very much! Great work!
Thank you, I’m glad you’re finding it useful 🙏
I absolutely suck at this game! This game is plagued with death everything bloody kills you. Love it lol
That sounds like everyone’s beginning in Anomaly XD
Stick with it. We’ve got plenty of knowledgeable Stalkers here if you get stuck.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie thank you I just might :)
Advance tip:
When going further north, no preparation is too much when going up against Monoliths.
(Tents can protect you from Blowouts and Psy-emissions, but your allies won't fit in there)
The Monoliths often use NATO guns, so 5.56, 5.7, and some others, so use some guns that can use these if you don't want to resort to broken guns.
Man I love the FNX, has solid punch for a pistol, surprisingly good against armour.
Quick tip: Segment the videos description like this
Intro (0:00)
Content (5:00)
Outro (10:00)
It will segment the video into chapters which show up in the video-player bar
Thank you, that's a great suggestion! I'll fix this up soon.

Honestly, one of the best guides for a game of all time on this platform. I'm really impressed by this video, thank you!
Cheers, thanks for the feedback! 👍
I'm not new to stalker anomaly but this is what you call a guide! You are not trying to teach new stalker players with experience in other games, you are trying to teach anyone, INCLUDING people that are new to gaming. Good job, you got yourself a new sub.
Thank you, Stalker. 🤘
The systems are demonstrated in the Loner to Legend series for those curious to see it all in action.
Always wanted to get into stalker, just downloaded Anomaly today, and this guide will be my bible. Thank you for this:)

I hit the same wall when I first started and this video was a response to the lack of centralised info for beginners.
God I fucking love this video and all the time stamps makes me cry tears of joy
I've been playing stalker as a series for years.. and Anomaly for hundreds of hours. But I learned a few things, big and small from this! Good work!

I'm new to this franchise just got GAMMA and I've gotta admit I'm a little intimidated by the depth. this tutorial is invaluable and I thank you for the obvious amount of time and effort that went into it...cheers
Cheers! 👍
GAMMA is a different beast, it was intended for Stalkers who knew Anomaly well and wanted to lift their game.
Thanks for being so thorough and dumbing it down for the bandits watching
Even Bandito’s need lovin’ ❤️
Totally new to the Stalker scene. This is such a good tutorial. Thank you

Amazing detail on this video I really appreciate that being a brand new player! Thank you for the help.
Glad I could help, Stalker.
Welcome to the Zone. 👍
Great guide. No fluff or bullshit.
The use cover at the end made me chuckle a bit as I was playing today and was in the great swamp and almost caught a stray bullet by the pump station. Not even in combat just a military from across the map fighting something shot in my direction and I could hear the bullets hitting the metal around me.
And that’s just the random stuff. Once you’re targeted… 😬
Holy hell. This is an in-depth guide. As a 52-year old returning to gaming, this helped. A lot.
Cheers, I’m glad it helped!
I’d love for Stalker’s community to continue growing. 🤘
It's been years since I played S.T.A.L.K.E.R., previously leaning towards Misery mod- this is a great guide for those of us jumping back into the ZONE after many years away. Thank you!

Update:
I've been basically playing nothing but Anomaly for a year. Because of this guide, I now am cool, smart, good looking, rich, with lots of friends and a garage full of Lamborghini exo-suits.
10/10 guide content.
Lambo exo’s are my favorite.
Cheers! 🤘
The system definitely isn’t perfect, but it’s more serviceable than that.

XD
I feel you, that was me when I first started 😂
Cordon is dynamic enough that a lot can happen in the starting area.
I will definitely be going this way then, as I also just managed to form a party with two Duty guys who have better equipment than me, so it's adventure time while they are around :D
Was trying to loot one of them, thinking he was dead, accidentally healed him and had the dialogue afterwards to ask him to join me.
Thanks mate 🤘
I agree, it’ll be tough for GSC to surpass what the fans have accomplished with Anomaly.
dude THANK YOU!!! So much... this guide was invaluable to me as someone who has never played a stalker game. My extensive survival game experience an time in EFT did almst NOTHING for me in this. I cannot thank you enough! Well made, informative and easy to understand even for someone who has never played a stalker game.
You’re welcome, Stalker. 🤘
Yeah, Anomaly is a completely different bag to EFT. They seem similar, but the gameplay is different. The environment is out to get you more than any Stalker 😋
This is THE guide everyone should watch! Awesome job man! Thank you

An extremely good and helpful video I wish it was shorter since I really wanna get to playing STALKER but I understand the long time since there really is a lot to the game
Cheers, hope you found it helpful 👍
What an excellent guide! I've been trying to get into Anomaly for a pretty good while now, but always felt a little overwhelmed with all the new stuff (crafting related, etc). Coming from Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat to this, so most other things were already very familiar to me. Now I just got fed up, searched up a guide and ended here.
Thank you for taking the time to make this!
Take my subscription, stalker!
Thank you, good Stalker. I’m glad this helps 🙏
God bless you for making this guide, your hard work and dedication is very much appreciated!
Cheers, that’s much appreciated! 🙏
I've been on and off playing stalker for years, been some time since I played anomaly and this guide did a great job at refreshing what I already knew. Nice!
Cheers! 👍
In order for timestamps to show up in the actual timeline, you need to use
Name - time
As in
Tips - 1:32:36
Putting it inside brackets doesnt work, you must use dash -
Also have to start with 0:00 always
The format is okay, it's because there are well over a hundred timestamps that they don't appear in the timeline. There's probably a hard limit on how many a video can have.
Omg your a lifesaver sir! Wow I’ve learned so much watching this guide!! Thank ssooo much
You’re welcome!
Good hunting, Stalker.
Thank you, Stalker, that’s greatly appreciated! Exiting times ahead for sure 🤘
I needed this. I have about 200-300 hours in the trilogy and I can't just grab an AK off a bandit and win in anomaly because AK no worky.
Bandits are particularly bad, their weapon condition is always worse than many other factions. You can play around with weapon condition drops if you don’t like it. There are plenty of mods to customize it too.
Amazing guide! Very well done! I can only imagine all the work that was put in to this one. Thanks!
Cheers for the support! ❤️🤘
Thank you for this. Anomaly is confusing as hell for new players, and this guide should be required to watch before playing. Cheers! 😎🤘
Glad it helped!
Wow! Impressive work! Kudos to you! I feel more confident tackling the game now!
This was extremely useful, thank you for your time bro.
Glad it was helpful! 🤘
Thanks so much, I’m glad it helped. 👍
I should have watched this before i started playing
Glad to see that you’re using the video as intended 👍
The Scavenger economy can be rough, especially in the beginning when you’re scraping cash together and everything costs so much.
That’s great to hear! I hope the guide is helpful to you. 👍
There is so much to dig into, and new mods are created almost weekly. You’ll find whatever Stalker experience you’re looking for.
Take a look at my Loner to Legend playthrough if you want to see these systems in action.
Good hunting, Stalker. ☢️
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Yep I'm up to episode 4!
Great Tutorial. Hope you get more recognition for it.
A lot of work went into it.
Cheers 🤘
This game is so good and goes to show how this game is doing minimal and making the player make as much as possible with the little you have...in every sense of gameplay i mean that..I want another stalker game same concept just more maps and quests lines and jobs and this would be the most amazing game ever made. I been on this for 4 days straight now LOVING it. I really want to see more of this i hope somebody is working on more content for stalker.
The modding community are adding to and upgrading content all the time. Check out Anomaly’s modding scene for even more variation.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Yup ive seen the mods..dont know if i want to download all the extra guns and what not i feel like the experience is good enough as is..I do want to try the gamma one but im going to wait till i "beat" anamoly...if you can? idk but i still think a brand new game with new and old areas new quests new items and not a rework like this from CoP would be amazing. Thats a whole lot to ask for tho and anamoly is good as is but im js i can vision a stalker game like this but x20..Maybe stalker 2 will be it. Hopefully..if it releases in our lifetime
If Stalker 2 shapes up to its claims, I reckon we’ll have the experience we’re looking for. I’ll be paying close attention…
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie hey while im talking with ya how do you turn off the head movement while walking and running with the EFP mod? i9 turned down head bobbing all the way tht wasnt it...
