For anyone watching this series for the first time all these years later: the weird blurry picture quality gets completely fixed after a few episodes. And lastly, this is easily one of the best STALKER series ever made so i highly recommend watching it.

Ah, so that’s why some comments mentioned that Slinki was a feminine lad! 😂 A pavlova is a dessert here Australia. Sweet AND feminine 👍 Thanks for pointing this out, it put a smile on my face.

I recently started playing this and watched your 1 hour guide, and then discovered these episodes, I am really glad a walkthrough/playthrough exists for new players to learn and play along
"cats are nasty, they'll tear you to pieces early game." That's exactly why I'm here lmao. Trying anomaly after about 30 hours of master difficulty SoC, I did not realize just how brutal Anomaly was going to be. I've gotten slaughtered by cats that I couldn't even hardly see coming up on me about 10 times in a row now, so hopefully this series will guide me to some success
The best tip I can give new players is to treat Anomaly like a cover shooter, even with mutants. Scan your surroundings, move forward into cover, repeat. Cover will usually prevent the lunge attacks (make sure you stand back from cover, not hard into it - attacks will clip through some objects) and gives you precious time to line up a shot. Don’t stare down a charging mutant, shoot and scoot! You’ll learn the spawn patterns and mutant locations after a while and can predict where pain points will be.
I don't think there's any other game I'd slog through these mechanics for, but after a day of playing I'm hooked. I'm swimming in a sea of blurry icons I have no idea what to do with, but hopefully this video will prepare me to dive into all the confusing crafting menus this game has. You make it very entertaining though, usually you have to choose between informative playthroughs and playthroughs that are fun to watch, but I feel like this is gonna be my tv before bed for the next few months.
Thanks for your videos, especially the tutorial one. What a gem of a game. Played the first ones back in the day and forgot how deep and suspenseful they were.
Cheers, your welcome. Yeah, they were a special experience. It’s crazy that, no matter how many times you go through the Zone, there’s something great about those first hours in Cordon, like you’re experiencing it all over again.
Damn, played a lot of Anomaly runs and only now I found out that you can actually break those brown crates JUST BY JUMPING. Hahahaha thanks for showing me that. Definitely saved my knife's edge 😂.
finished your beginner guide! thanks so much for making it for us! def got me a strong start. Played the game for a couple hours now, this game is a diamond in the rough. Excited to jump in to this series! I will def be around for them
Cheers, and thanks for sticking around! 👍 The excellent quality of the Stalker modding scene has been largely ignored for a while, it’s great to see it finally getting mainstream exposure.
I really am about to finally watch over a 100 hours worth of this haha. Been subscribed since I first found this Playlist I watched some of it then stopped luckily I have this in my saved playlists
This is gonna be a nice playthrough, as I can see I have plenty of episodes to catch up on. Just started playing this game, the beginner guide and crafting vids were fantastic. Luckily I came here first and didnt have to look very far for a content creator I liked, lol.
Every few years I get back on a Stalker kick. Just returned to anomaly and stumbled across your beginner guide which helped refresh my memory on everything so I decided to watch this series after. Love the premise and restrictions! Gained a sub from me.
An Australian in the zone is just such an out-of-place image it should be in the game; walking along with a can of beer in one hand, giving thumbs up to the various stalkers and mutants as he marches cheerfully to the centre of the zone in his 'thongs', not a care or trouble in the world. :)
Great idea for a playthrough. Non related tip - Whichever software you use to edit your footage, once done, export it at 1440p and then upload it to YT. Takes away all that pixilation.
Cheers mate! 🤘 Yeah, I was still adjusting to OBS for the early episodes. From about ep5-6 things drastically improve (I do basically what you outlined).
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie I know you ended up fixing this but just in case you don't know: This problem occurs because of the bitrate levels you set in OBS and your editing software and not actually because of your resolution. (Low bitrate = Higher pixelization; etc..)
Cheers. I did figure out the bitrate early on, but RUclips’s compression was still slamming the videos hard and it took a bit more investigation to work a fix.
@@hicfool That's partially incorrect. RUclips videos at 1080p are on Avc1 Codec which = pixilation. 1440p+ videos are on Vpo9 Codec = vastly better image quality
Glad it helped! Fires are a great early warning system. When you couple this with a fully upgraded PDA, you'll know exactly what to expect when approaching a lit fire. We don't have the luxury of extinguishing fires for the crafting challenge, that only creates more pain for us.
man i was waiting for the new stalker to come out in april as my first experience, but now i have to wait longer. thank you for your guide, and this series will hopefully help me understand the game more. im a super big noob.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie i’ve heard it explained as “the PM is a water gun that has the bullet dissapear around 3 feet from the barrel” also didn’t expect a reply, thanks for this guide :)
Bullet dispersion on many weapons is hot garbage, but the PM is hands down the worst in SoC. Still an amazing game well worth your time. You’re welcome 😁
01:28:33 You met this dude who is posting in the Stalker Chat earlier at the Rookie camp, thats one of the things i love about this Game, persistent Characters. Chances are, you can meet him again in like 20 or even 100 episodes at all kinds of places, which is why i love this game. Ive had Situations where i met Stalkers in Mid or even Lategame Areas, that ive seen in Beginner Areas when i started. I dont any other game which has this kind of Persistence.
I have only recently started playing Anomaly, but I see that we have the same type of thinking when it comes to character names. My guy Vasya Flint is only a poor loner that can’t afford to live a good life in the zone… yet.
Could've given your overloaded gear to the hunting companion until you got back to camp and then grabbed it all back from him before turning in the quest. Thanks for this series, i'm like 20 hours into the game and love it so far. I had no idea this game existed but am very glad it does.
I could have, true, but knowing me I’d forget to take it back and the companion would head off with my loot. Or companion would die and I’d have bigger problems. Glad you’re enjoying Anomaly, it’s a breath of irradiated air.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Your guide helped me out a ton, admittedly I have very little experience with PC games in general let alone shooters. So getting used to the controls thew me off at first. I'm finally getting it now and learned new functions all the time thanks to your series.
Anomaly has a huge amount of depth and commands baked in. I’m still learning a tonne of stuff thanks to the community in these comments. Glad the series is informative though 👍
Just started playing stalker and got recommended to you by a youtube commentor. This is like having a tv show i can binge now. A really entertaining Aussie tv show. 😲Just saw you have a recent valheim series, I also just started playing valheim. I am loaded with hours of content for the next few months. Thanks mate
Ah cool, it’s humbling to know that my name is out there. Welcome, Stalker! Yeah buddy, the Valheim series is a lot of fun. I thought I’d be finished soon-ish but they’re about to drop the ashlands biome so there’s plenty more to go. Cheers for checking out the channel. 🤘
Just found your channel recently, and its great content my dude! Only feedback is to maybe have the option to increase the video res beyond 1080p, because the video gets grainy when you're moving alot.
I want to point out that @~8:21 you can simply jump on top of those containers and break them, often times the loot will clip onto the lower floor (if on a higher floor, like here; very rarely will the loot clip through the ground (if on the floor of a ground floor of a building), but often times when this happens the loot will sorta "reset" itself and respawn where it was supposed to, been playing SoC mods, so Anomaly might be different and/or more stable). Iirc in all the main games you can do it, though if the loot simply isn't there or simply doesn't reset after falling out of world, idhk in the later titles (I don't remember if CS has this problem or not like CoP seems to have, been years since I've played that game).
Yep, you can 👍 The location of those cases make jumping on them tricky so it’s easier to drop them. I don’t know if loot clips through the ground, I don’t *think* this would happen open. Crate drops tend to clip *above* the crate, but I can’t think of any instances where they clip below.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie in SoC (with mods like Radiophobia 3, or Autumn Aurora 2.1 even) the clipping issue tends to happen frequently, across different pcs (in my experience, at least). Had it happen in Vanilla, though in my experience opening it with a knife tends to make the clipping issue a very minor issue (if it even happened at all). Thinking that it spawns the contents at that x and y coordinate, but with the z axis occupied (since the Player is standing right above the container; think Z is height in a 3d X, Y, Z coordinate), the game defaults to a lower z coordinate (usually the next floor under, but sometimes annoyingly in a wall, or even under the whole building (but not under the map, as there's some bit of space for the contents of the container to spawn into, under there, and being lost forever)). Think it's the same in CS and CoP, but my only experience lately is with the Gunslinger mod for CoP (which probably didn't muck with the way these containers open, but it might've), but iirc jumping on them (from what I remember) in those games (in Vanilla, years ago now) had the same "problem" as in vanilla SoC.
Interesting point. I tend to drop them because it’s more satisfying, but I wonder if knife hits would yield more loot…? I’m not motivated enough to test it, but it’s curious.

Hello I came here from your "Stalker Anomaly - Ultimate Beginner's Guide/Tutorial" Even when "explain" crafting still don't understand so let watch and learn
Plenty of examples in the series. Check the description of each video to see which new things (if any) I craft that episode. It will click for you, don’t worry. 👍
Man I quit the game 2 days into playing it because the map was just to big and the game was just kinda complicated I watched this video in one go and was so entertaining I will watch all of these and will try to get back in the game You are very entertaining thanks for the vids:)
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Yep I watched it and then started playing but it still seemed hard 😂 I'm 3 episodes in this series so now it's getting clearer and clearer
It is hard. The Zone will remind you constantly that you are it’s plaything, and Anomaly has adjusted enemies and anomalies to hit that much harder. But it’s such a darkly beautiful place to explore.
Try the original shadow of Chernobyl first. It’s not a sandbox like anomaly and doesn’t have all the crafting ect. Mods like this are really designed around you already beating the canon 3 games and are looking for more
Yes and no. I personally believe that you get the best experience and context if you’ve played the originals before hitting Anomaly, but Anomaly is so feature-rich and expanded that it will appeal to vastly more players.
The fact that GSC is allowing this makes them such comrades, it's great. Honestly I'd be so nervous in their place to release something since it's probably going to be less extensive than this mod. Then again if they focus on mod support and good interfaces for their engine and systems then it might become popular solely based on modders taking to the new possibilities and loving it, so letting this game become basically F2P is a good move for publicity.
The biggest curiosity will be how flexible modding is allowed to be. Whether it will have the depth and freedom of Anomaly modding, or whether it will be railroaded. They’re clearly watching what the fans are putting out, so I’m hopeful that they’re picking up what we’re putting down. 🤘
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Yeah. They seem to still be independent so they are not as likely as games corporations to commoditize modding and such. They might just prohibit stand-alone mods like this one and let mods drive sales for the next STALKER if we are lucky.
@@imatreebelieveme6094 I'd fully expect, and quite honestly completely understand them waiting on allowing these type of stand-alones for stalker 2, it'd be pretty dumb to allow until the life sales die down There will be modding support day 1 for stalker 2 though, so it's gonna drive sales up pretty damn well
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie I've never had the balls to try this but you inspired me to new heights of pain and suffering! I shall complete this challange!!
One universal rule of anomaly you must follow, no matter what gear, faction, or weapons you have. (Unless you are a god tier at strafing and eat Chimera Meat like candy.) If you hear a cat, run. If you see one, you are already dead.
Those containers you can break by picking up and dropping or jumping on will also break if you run into them, basically they break if you physically move them enough.
Heard about you from Sixx. It's always great to find new STALKER players. I may try this challenge when I'm finished Anomaly story lines. Problem is I suck at crafting, upgrades and repairs. So I'll continue to watch and learn. Edit: If you can save only at lit campfires, how do you handle saves when sleeping?
Sixx is a superstar! The crafting system can be overwhelming at first, but you’ll get the hang of it. Sleeping and fast travel autosaves are allowed. I thought about disabling them but as long as they aren’t abused they won’t affect the spirit of the challenge.
Hey I’m not sure if it’s just how this was recorded or if it’s the game itself but it seems whenever you’re moving the game becomes very pixel-y and blurry, but your hud doesn’t
the only thing that cant be crafted or looted is the knife everything else is craftable or lootable so keep and buy knives is allowed you need them for backpack upgrades. Starting low tier stuff dont need to be learned you just need the crafting kits get them all, upgrade technician and medic in Jupiter and have gunsmith tool in hand for basic ammo and you are set disamble pistols and shotguns till you get decent parts for repair of a semi-shotgun and you are set for easy farming of Red Forest Monoliths at Forester location. Rinse and repeat several days nonstop till you get decent monolith weapons then go arround the zone for crafting recipes. Interesting part is you will end up getting most non-brakable gear from loot before you craft it.
Basically this. The only problem is coming across the rarer components, and the progressive loot option which hamstrings the early attempts at getting ahead. It was a fun challenge.
1:11:19 yeah my first time going through that tunnel I was so confused lmao, only after watching this do I understand why I was taking damage. Tried going through this tunnel 3 different times before
This many tool kits in an hour and a half and the five hours I've put into a new playthrough I haven't found a single one. The zone works in mysterious ways.
So the anomaly mod is my first hands on experience with any stalker game. I found the tutorial quest giver died to a mutant dog or whatever we were out hunting. Second try i survived stepped later in to an anomaly and died. Third try i avoided the anomaly but then when we were out to get the artifact i died by radiation i think? Anyway, i was thinking might as well take a break and download the update first and then i landed here while waiting. lol
The ‘tutorial’ quests are notoriously difficult, and there isn’t much hand-holding. You do get free gear from them, but it’s probably better trying to complete tasks from other task givers at Rookie Village.
RUclips really messes with the videos of STALKER man. they look like 240p sometimes! I know it dosent look like that when playing. Its same with the game RUST too
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie SWEET :) well I'm watching in 1440p and everytime you move the camera it's turns so low res. New subscriber here loving the series so far though. Keep them coming

shame that yt fucks the quality down to shit yo. its a lot asked for and i dont expect it from anyone 😂but it would be rly nice if lets players were to upload their lets plays to google drive or sth for us to download. id have no problem with downloading each part at all. but ig the majority wouldnt care enough anyway

Is there any way to highlight faction badgesand faction names when you point the gin into someone ?...I am asking because i Just started and i often find my self being shoot by people or walking up to a persone facing me and the Moment i pass past them they all kill me
I’m not sure if they implemented the faction ID mod as part of GAMMA. If they did, it should be in the MCM menu (I think it’s just called ‘Faction ID’).
The blue metal one? They’re stash containers that you can find around the world. They sometimes contain random items, but you can also use them as safe places to store gear.
I know it’s a while but the one thing that shocked me was you not taking the fanatics help He gives you ammo, I think a gun (but a shitty one) if you keep going in his quest line you get an echo detector and you find an anomaly and he gives you a container for it, he even is available as a companion during the quest, best part is after the quest line you get another anomaly and you get to keep everything, except his companion ship
I didn’t want to lean on Fanatic because he gives you far too many things for free. The point was to craft these items from scratch, both to pressure-test the crafting system and to prove that you could start with nothing and survive.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie damn, that’s understandable and also respectable, wanting to give yourself a harder challenge. Hopefully I after understand stalker anomaly more I can do a challenge run like yours.
I started as a bandit in the cargo storage base. Was fucking awful but stuck through until I took over the east checkpoint from the zombies and…. Pseudo-dogs… had 1/4 health and only bandages, a few shotgun slugs, and was practically blind from the blurred vision. Eventually took out the zombies and one dog before fellow bandits arrived…. Then monolith, duty, and freedom attacked one after another. All three attacks had a group of 10. Only 3 bandits plus a 4th bugged bandit inside the smaller building. Finally got health back from stimpacks that duty had. Only 2. Then CATS! Wtf! Then zombies again! I’m holding that fucking checkpoint and gained decent assault rifle that I attached a green dot sight that I took off of one of duties guns. I’m strapped for survival but broke as fuck. Still almost died 7 times defending the checkpoint…. This is all on easy diff and progression….
GAMMA is a wholly different experience, but from a weapon and armour scavenging perspective then yes, it basically is. Or rather, GAMMA is Loner to Legend on ‘roids 😂
There are handful of models which are breakable, you’ll learn to recognize them with experience. Generally if you hit something with a few knife attacks and it doesn’t break then it’s just a prop. Alternatively, lead your companions near the boxes in question. Companions hate breakable boxes and will attack them within close proximity.
The graphics and HUD, do they come with Anomaly or are they different mods? If so, what mods are you using besides Anomaly? I just picked up stalker recently and I want to improve my game.
I know this is old by now and there are newer ones in the series but have you looked at the GAMMA modpack? looks like exactly what you'd want for this style of play
@Blondefire_HeyBlondie I thought I'd already replied but I can't see it. I think there's a few of us. I know a couple personally though they are on and off again players. There's also one or two on Facebook in the Stalker Anomaly group.
Toolkits aren’t so bad but recipes are the real killer. The potential loot pool increases as you rank up which means the odds of finding recipes drastically decrease over time.
Do you have hardcore ai aim on? In my experience, (hard mode) most stalkers won't notice you as long as you are not in a direct line of sight and you are crouching. I used to wonder how they knew where I was so often and it got way easier once I started being quieter.
I want to start watching these series but video quality at 1080 is abysmal. It's fine when you don't move, but when you start moving it's very difficult to see anything. Will it get better later?
I can't help but think my success with Stalker Anomaly is entirely based on RNG. My first game, I found Basic Tools in one of those tents in Cordon, Advanced Tools further up the road, and Expert Tools in the Garbage. My second game, the one where I decided to rely on my own crafting and not use technicians, I didn't find Basic Tools until Pripyat. Also, when I decided to not buy upgrades, only use ones I found, I found every damn upgrade multiple times over except the Exo Sprint one. In fact, I convinced myself some bug meant it could never drop, so I allowed myself to buy one. Then I found two in loot.
The rng can swing wildly. In one of the test runs for this series I found Basic, Advanced, and Expert tools within an hour of starting. Other runs, almost nothing in any of the stashes. It can be feast and famine for sure. We're almost 90 episodes in and I'm *still* missing a bunch of crafting manuals.
How are you not getting the freezy stutter every few seconds? I've tried looking up a few videos where people claim to have fixes, but they never do. The only thing I've seen that seems to work is the stutter fix checkbox thing in the Gamma mod, but I don't have that. I just have Anomoly 1.5.2 I think is the version. I know it's at least 151.
I ran with 1.5.1 for this playthrough (1.5.2 didn’t exist then). I would look at your grass density, shadow settings, and view distance, these offer the biggest performance hits.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Ok, I'll give them another look and play around with them. I did turn some of that down already. I mean I get a solid 60fps, with an occasional dip that doesn't seem to make sense. But that's all fine. The thing that's so bothersome is the freezing stutter that happens once or twice nearly every minute. Some people have said that it has to do with the A-Life system. Perhaps it's because you had story mode and open zone turned off? I did see it occur further into your playthrough here, but the hang-up is almost not perceptible. Thank you for the suggestions though, I'll give them a look.
@mtgAzim I did experience some significant pauses in season 2 which didn’t happen often but when they did would lock up the game for 30-40 seconds. Story mode not enabled on that either, but over 100 mods loaded so who knows.
Alright, another question from the newbie. I started without campfire mode, and am finding myself saving too much to make the game realistic enough for me. Is there any way to turn campfire mode on after the fact?
Hmm, I don’t believe there is but you can turn autosaves off and restrict yourself to campfires only. Much harder to do when the temptation to save is only a key press away 😉
hello, I wanted to watch your video but it seems like youtube won't want to display 1080p and instead displays a very bad compression of your video. I can't appreciate enough your work because of that. is there anywhere else than youtube where it's uploaded? or would you mind maybe telling me if there is no issue on your side. From the begining the screen seems to be displaying very bad quality video and I don't know what to do about that.
1:19:21 Could you generate a bit more cash by selling the jerrycans dotted about, to the trader? Or is there a better use for those later on? Looking forward to watching the rest of the series, already picked up a few tips from this episode.

Randomly found this on my feed.
Once again the feed delivers gold,
Keep up the great work, I've got a whole series to watch.
Cheers, glad to have you here 👍
I just got my hands on anomaly and bought the entire stalker series. I’m about 20 min and I’m loving this
It has a certain ‘feel’ and atmosphere which instantly clicks with some people.
Welcome to the Zone, Stalker ☢️
Damn, played a lot of Anomaly runs and only now I found out that you can actually break those brown crates JUST BY JUMPING. Hahahaha thanks for showing me that. Definitely saved my knife's edge 😂.
I've got about two thousand hours in game and only just learnt from blondie that you can combine items!
Just found your channel yesterday, looking forward to watching this series!
Thanks mate, and welcome to the series!
finished your beginner guide! thanks so much for making it for us! def got me a strong start. Played the game for a couple hours now, this game is a diamond in the rough. Excited to jump in to this series! I will def be around for them
Cheers, and thanks for sticking around! 👍
The excellent quality of the Stalker modding scene has been largely ignored for a while, it’s great to see it finally getting mainstream exposure.
You're crazy. I crap myself every time I leave Cordon -_-
I really am about to finally watch over a 100 hours worth of this haha. Been subscribed since I first found this Playlist I watched some of it then stopped luckily I have this in my saved playlists
Appreciate you sticking around 🤘
It was an adventure.
This is gonna be a nice playthrough, as I can see I have plenty of episodes to catch up on.
Just started playing this game, the beginner guide and crafting vids were fantastic. Luckily I came here first and didnt have to look very far for a content creator I liked, lol.
Cheers, really appreciate the feedback. 🤘
Every few years I get back on a Stalker kick. Just returned to anomaly and stumbled across your beginner guide which helped refresh my memory on everything so I decided to watch this series after. Love the premise and restrictions! Gained a sub from me.
Much appreciated, Stalker. Welcome back to the Zone 🤘
Yeah, I was still adjusting to OBS for the early episodes.
@@NukSooKow-yp9py Totally forgot about RUclips's Codecs, that's correct!
That fire tip saved my life, if it wasn't for that I would have wandered through a bandit occupied military checkpoint.
Thanks man, hope it helps you out! 🤘
anomaly is a great start, the older games in their original state can be even more unforgiving than this one lol
Weapon accuracy in SoC… 😬
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie i’ve heard it explained as “the PM is a water gun that has the bullet dissapear around 3 feet from the barrel”
also didn’t expect a reply, thanks for this guide :)
Yeah, the dynamic world is one of Stalker's strongest features.
They must have had divine intervention to last that long 😂
I have only recently started playing Anomaly, but I see that we have the same type of thinking when it comes to character names. My guy Vasya Flint is only a poor loner that can’t afford to live a good life in the zone… yet.
All good things to those who Stalk.
And lots of good experiences to have along the way.
Oh this is great!!! I been looking for a series to binge and have in the background and this is perfect!!
I’m happy to fit that bill. 🤘
Same here! Also I have never heard of this game and I found it by little videos with jump scares lol and it seams like a good game
Stalker is atmospheric, you don’t need to be in spooky underground military complexes to get your share of scare.
Sixx's bunker told me about you, awesome content, mate! I'll be watching the whole series right now
Thanks for the support, I’m glad you’re enjoying the content! Sixx is true a gentleman.
Welcome to the posse!
Cheers mate, and welcome! 🤘
I was still playing around with OBS during the first 5-6 eps, don’t worry it gets a lot cleaner soon.
Great gameplay and thanks for the extensive Tutorial video.
Btw: you can Just sprint into the small white crates and they will break open
Cheers! 👍
There’s something satisfying about picking them up and dropping them. The physics can do weird and funny stuff. 😂
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie that is so true 😅
This is already shaping into a great series
Edit: and I thought i was a mad lad by ditching the makarov. Mad props to you sir! Looking forward to this
Haha, cheers mate, we’re havin’ fun
You and Sixx inspired me to start this hard-core crafting playthrough too!
It’s a hell of a ride, I hope you enjoy it!
Good hunting, Stalker.
"Scared the crap out of both of us" ?
You have a new subscriber sir blondie, excellent to see you start this series off, good show
Spasibo 🙏
Welcome, Stalker.
Just found this. Not bad, some pretty good stuff you got here, Stalker.
Cheers, much appreciated 👍
Yep, you can 👍
The location of those cases make jumping on them tricky so it’s easier to drop them.

Hello
I came here from your "Stalker Anomaly - Ultimate Beginner's Guide/Tutorial"
Even when "explain" crafting still don't understand so
let watch and learn
Plenty of examples in the series. Check the description of each video to see which new things (if any) I craft that episode.
It will click for you, don’t worry. 👍
Man I quit the game 2 days into playing it because the map was just to big and the game was just kinda complicated
I watched this video in one go and was so entertaining
I will watch all of these and will try to get back in the game
You are very entertaining thanks for the vids:)
Cheers!
Don’t forget that I also have an Ultimate Beginners guide on the channel to answer many of the questions you might have. 👍
@@imatreebelieveme6094 I'd fully expect, and quite honestly completely understand them waiting on allowing these type of stand-alones for stalker 2, it'd be pretty dumb to allow until the life sales die down
There will be modding support day 1 for stalker 2 though, so it's gonna drive sales up pretty damn well
I’d agree with this. It’s unlikely that they’ll fully unlock modding until sales have slowed.
As soon as I saw the title and saw it's a 1 out of 100 series....Instant sub! This 'gon be good!
Thank you, Stalker!
I hope it lives up to expectations.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie I've never had the balls to try this but you inspired me to new heights of pain and suffering! I shall complete this challange!!
Enjoy the journey, it’s a rewarding experience. 👍
I just love this game, you just got a new subscriber, amazing work man 👊🏻👊🏻
Cheers, mate! Hope you enjoy the journey 👍
One universal rule of anomaly you must follow, no matter what gear, faction, or weapons you have. (Unless you are a god tier at strafing and eat Chimera Meat like candy.)
If you hear a cat, run.
If you see one, you are already dead.
Dear god, yes. Cats in tall grass give me the sweats.
Those containers you can break by picking up and dropping or jumping on will also break if you run into them, basically they break if you physically move them enough.
True statement👍
No items from the start! You're a mad lad!
Hey man, just found your videos and they are great. that stalker begininng struggle is real :D
Cheers!
Yeah, the beginning is tough, but persistence pays off 💵
Heard about you from Sixx.
I thought about disabling them but as long as they aren’t abused they won’t affect the spirit of the challenge.
hella excited to waatch this. i also watch halfman and so far your good at this so far really excited
Halfman vibes at my pace, and is knowledgeable and entertaining to boot. Happy to have you here!
Hey I’m not sure if it’s just how this was recorded or if it’s the game itself but it seems whenever you’re moving the game becomes very pixel-y and blurry, but your hud doesn’t
That’s the recording bitrate and RUclips’s compression. It gets a lot better from ep5.
the only thing that cant be crafted or looted is the knife everything else is craftable or lootable so keep and buy knives is allowed you need them for backpack upgrades.
It was a fun challenge.
my man found a moon and tools early on, how lucky can one stalker get
Something about watching Anomaly runs with British or Australian commentary... it's just the perfect thing to watch.
Cheers, mate 🤘
Agreed. I also watched Bonhart

I’ve watched Bonhart’s Anomaly series, it was an interesting RP that deserves more views. 🤘
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Benjin has a few ironman runs that are so intense you will have soiled underwear in your real world inventory.

This many tool kits in an hour and a half and the five hours I've put into a new playthrough I haven't found a single one. The zone works in mysterious ways.
While I was testing before the start of the series, I had runs where I found every toolkit within an hour. The Zone is a fickle place.
ME a first timer: sets to hardest with survivalist
(been living like a hobo robbing bandits, renegade, and military factions)
Its same with the game RUST too
The grass in particular is really bad. I fixed this up pretty good by ep5-6 though.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie SWEET :) well I'm watching in 1440p and everytime you move the camera it's turns so low res. New subscriber here loving the series so far though. Keep them coming

i like hardcore stalker but this is just straight up torture.
The beginning is rough, but the sense of achievement is wild when things come together 🤘
i spend my time mostly chillin but i somtimes go for these escort tasks (what i mean by chilin is that i do a lot of mutant tasks and sit next to campfires basicly roleplaying etc. and when i play gamma i build bases)
The best kinda vibe.
shame that yt fucks the quality down to shit yo. its a lot asked for and i dont expect it from anyone 😂but it would be rly nice if lets players were to upload their lets plays to google drive or sth for us to download. id have no problem with downloading each part at all. but ig the majority wouldnt care enough anyway
It took a few eps but I figured out the right combo to get decent looking footage. It should improve around ep 4 or 5.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie 😎😎very nice to hear yo.
i love this series btw. just raw, uncut lets plays as it SHOULD BE. no editing, no bs 😎thank u for keepin it real and creating proper, mature content.
peace, stay chillin
You Like the competent guy nobody asks about general informations
And i have One..not for anomaly but for Gamma ....
What are the boxes near the campfire you drop stuff in?
The blue metal one? They’re stash containers that you can find around the world. They sometimes contain random items, but you can also use them as safe places to store gear.
I know it’s a while but the one thing that shocked me was you not taking the fanatics help
He gives you ammo, I think a gun (but a shitty one) if you keep going in his quest line you get an echo detector and you find an anomaly and he gives you a container for it, he even is available as a companion during the quest, best part is after the quest line you get another anomaly and you get to keep everything, except his companion ship
Bandits have a rough start as it is. Nice job staying alive 👍
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie thanks!
This is basically GAMMA minus the 'not using technician' rule.
GAMMA is a wholly different experience, but from a weapon and armour scavenging perspective then yes, it basically is. Or rather, GAMMA is Loner to Legend on ‘roids 😂
how do I tell which boxes are breakable?
There are handful of models which are breakable, you’ll learn to recognize them with experience. Generally if you hit something with a few knife attacks and it doesn’t break then it’s just a prop. Alternatively, lead your companions near the boxes in question. Companions hate breakable boxes and will attack them within close proximity.
Video compression really fucks up the footage.
I dialled OBS settings and RUclips compression by episode 6, it's significantly better from then on.
I'm thinking of an ironman rags to riches
Did you do it?
100 vídeos on the playlist wow
We got stuff done 👍
The graphics and HUD, do they come with Anomaly or are they different mods? If so, what mods are you using besides Anomaly?
I just picked up stalker recently and I want to improve my game.
This is a vanilla run, no mods for season 1.
I know this is old by now and there are newer ones in the series but have you looked at the GAMMA modpack? looks like exactly what you'd want for this style of play
I haven’t heard of that one. I did a search on moddb and couldn’t find it by that name.
I think I can see the link you tried to post, I’ll follow it up. I might create a community post where we collate a bunch of suggested mods.
So what's that long blue thing with the yellow end? It kind of looks like the ruler you use to check the oil amount in the car.
In my inventory you mean? That’s a file. It’s used in crafting recipes and to repair certain components.
The advanced toolsets are super common for some reason.
I tend to stab the small locked boxes or drop em from a height taller than the player, I enjoy watching someone play stalker with a crafting system
You’ll know that it’s been opened cause it’ll split into two pieces while dropping its content
Yeah, and there’s some weird physics that go with it if it’s right at your feet. 🤔
seems like this will be a fun watch
Halfman shoutout, Lets go
Nice to see a fellow Australian play STALKER
Thanks, mate. Glad to have you with us!
Australians in the Zone.
Somebody needs to make a 303 for us
@aaronleaver17 I’m curious to know how many Aussie stalkers there are.
@Blondefire_HeyBlondie I thought I'd already replied but I can't see it.
I think there's a few of us. I know a couple personally though they are on and off again players.
There's also one or two on Facebook in the Stalker Anomaly group.
@aaronleaver17 I only know of Aussie players by watching them of YT or through word of mouth. I’m sure there’s a sizeable group out there.
I can't follow some of the decisions (why not just sell...you'll make it back) but this is very entertaining.
A lot of the sellable stuff is needed for crafting or upgrades. Some of it is very hard to come by.
I’m glad this is free. Imma download this game in the near future.
I hope you have fun. Check back or join my Discord if you need help. 👍
The RUclips video compression hates this game.
The quality improves from ep5 onwards.
100 episodes? well thats gonna take me a while
A lot of dark adventure packed among them 👍
I hate the fact it's hard to find did recipes and tool kits
Toolkits aren’t so bad but recipes are the real killer. The potential loot pool increases as you rank up which means the odds of finding recipes drastically decrease over time.
Do you have hardcore ai aim on? In my experience, (hard mode) most stalkers won't notice you as long as you are not in a direct line of sight and you are crouching. I used to wonder how they knew where I was so often and it got way easier once I started being quieter.
No hardcore aim, I feel as though they already get away with a lot of random stuff. I’ll probably use it in future plays though.
I want to start watching these series but video quality at 1080 is abysmal. It's fine when you don't move, but when you start moving it's very difficult to see anything. Will it get better later?
nvm found the answer in the comment section.
I don’t blame you if you skip eps 1-5, but we do a bit of crafting during that time. Hopefully you stick with it 👍
cool man you are the best i can eait to see you play STALKER 2 😃
I’m excited for Stalker 2. Hopefully GSC stick the landing.
Looks like you were reeeally lucky with those advanced tools :D
What’s the saying? “Dying of thirst and drifting on a raft in the ocean.”
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie yeah that's it ;)
"why don't you privet your way out the door" 😂😅😂
Rewatching my old stuff, Elizabeth? 😁
There will be more Stalker soon.
I'm so sad RUclips killed the quality of this video :( I enjoyed the content though! Keep it up!
Partly my fault too for low bitrate. It's fixed by ep 5 though. 😅
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie I have been doing it manually this way, aside from if I get a really good bit of gear. Then I get greedy lol
I'm gonna try this in EFP 3.0 in ironman mode, i really like this gameplay
That’ll be a challenge. Good hunting, Stalker 👍
You give me major jolly vibes bro
Let the good times roll. 🤘
How did you up the brightness like that? I usually can't see inside darker buildings
That’s default Anomaly settings. I know that some mods make darkened areas *very* dark.

The grass hates being rendered. This is all fixed from ep 5 onwards.
hello, I wanted to watch your video but it seems like youtube won't want to display 1080p and instead displays a very bad compression of your video. I can't appreciate enough your work because of that. is there anywhere else than youtube where it's uploaded? or would you mind maybe telling me if there is no issue on your side. From the begining the screen seems to be displaying very bad quality video and I don't know what to do about that.
This was partly my fault for low bitrate recordings, and partly RUclips compression. It’s fixed by episode 5. I understand if you jump ahead.
Yeah it's pretty hard to see anything. 😅
1:19:21 Could you generate a bit more cash
by selling the jerrycans dotted about, to the trader?
Or is there a better use for those later on?
Looking forward to watching the rest of the series,
already picked up a few tips from this episode.
Fuel is great supportive material for fixing gun parts. They get used soon, don't worry 😉
Came here because of your tutorial. Amazing work, watched the whole thing, I don't even intend to play the game. Sadly, the encoding on this one seems to be a bit off :(
Cheers!
Yeah, the first 4 eps were a battle with encoding and YT, they’re sorted by ep 5 I think.
