What an amazing amalgam of pure pop styles. I hear some Wally Bryson brilliance in here, along with all the usual wondrous influences. How I could have missed this tune baffles me. What a gift, thanks!
I hear a STRONG Dave Clark Five influence (listen to the background vocals and the Mike Smith strong lead vocal, especially at the end "I said you're not gonna cry anymore"). I definitely hear the Easybeats, and some Beatles.
Oh my God!!!!!!! I've looked for this forever! Tremendous, Beatles plus Easybeats plus Raspberries magic=heaven.
Steve Carroll describes it perfectly!!

Where the Raspberries meet the Beatles!
Great fun track, sounds like The Rutles, ha ha. Their "Go All The Way" is close to the best pop song ever written.
They broke Tonight off of part of this obviously. What did the other parts become or did they get scrapped?
