Montreal band, after The Wackers. Bob Segarini. The Henman brothers. April Wine.
except that Bob was American and April Wine were from Nova Scotia, but sure....
Going tonight to see Earth Quake 2.0 featuring Robbie Dunbar
someone been listening to HELP!
There in here with everything that was Glam back in the first half of the 70’s 👨🏻🎤🧑🏻🎤👩🎤… 😍 Im copying all my personal vast library playlists & mixes to Spotify & now intime on RUclips for folk to reminisce & relive GLAM ROCK 70’s ruclips.net/p/PLbO1DMzDZcpiA8pJS3T4DFh70PUZZrcvT
. it's a hard life, it's (MULDEW) .
Tengo el single, muy bueno
Where did this song come from?
We power pop/AOR/melodic rock fans can easily see why Steve Dahl created Disco Demolition Night in 1979. Only one Earth Quake album hit the Billboard 200 Albums chart ("8.5" from 1977.) WAY too much disco on the chart back in the day. In the process, excellent promising bands like EQ were getting screwed over to the nth degree.
Any track on this LP could been a hit! By the way, this would have been a cool logo for BS. (Pictured in the post).
Got this on vinyl. Demo version and original released. On ebay 😁
great !!!! great !!!!!
Well I'm back where I started Like I was here yesterday No it's not what I wanted But I've got no one to blame Now I'm back on the bottle Every day feels the same I keep running in circles But I'm gonna find my way I'm breakin your heart again I'm breakin your heart again Oh baby I've gotta go, Oh no I'm breakin your heart again I'm breakin your heart again Well every day gets harder Now that you've gone away Like I was waiting for Nothing I got nothing to take I'm gonna find my way out of here If it's the last thing I do I feel sorry for some lovers That's just what lovers do I'm breakin your heart again I'm breakin your heart again Oh baby I've gotta know, Oh no I'm breakin your heart again I'm breakin your heart again
isn't it "back on the bottom?"
Put this on when you're in a bad mood and I swear it will bring you back to life again. 🎸
この曲をずっと探してました。ありがとうございました。
Awesomeness song
They broke Tonight off of part of this obviously. What did the other parts become or did they get scrapped?
Thumbsup
Not The Boys you’re looking for.
Thanks for posting.
Es una versión tremenda. Suena de cojones.
awesome
kewl song ,,haha <{:OX~
awe sorry to hear John passed is that true? i see the RIP. such a voice!
Thank you Lynn Kuehl for playing this for me all those years ago, I think it was November 1979, when I visited and we made a mix tape, well, I watched, and listened. Always remembered this song fondly. 02:57 PDT Thursday, 5 May 2016. Cinco de mayo :-)
I've got this single (still with original dust cover)! On the flipside; Witness To A Crime. Talk about obscure. I searched for this a few years back. Finally arrived. Thanks.
Fantastic song!
Great fun track, sounds like The Rutles, ha ha. Their "Go All The Way" is close to the best pop song ever written.
The biters
I hear a STRONG Dave Clark Five influence (listen to the background vocals and the Mike Smith strong lead vocal, especially at the end "I said you're not gonna cry anymore"). I definitely hear the Easybeats, and some Beatles.
Elton John-Saturday is Alright for Fightin'
Or Deep Purple ..Tokyo..The Who..lots of influences
Where the Raspberries meet the Beatles!
L>R : Robbie Dunbar, guitars - John Doukas, vocals (R.I.P.) - Steve Nelson, drums - Stan Miller, bass. A great East Bay rock band, barely known beyond the Bay Area. Bezerkely Records was the launchpad of The Greg Kihn Band....don't think they ever made a record for another label. I met these dudes early in my Berkeley music career, and found them all to be first-class people, devoted to their music, fans, and neighborhood. And Steve Nelson is still one of the greatest rock drummers ever.
ny band got real frindly with danny nice dude
Greatest band ever.
Yeah...we're back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they sound so much like Thin Lizzy!!!!=P but i like them
I used to play this often on KAOS (campus radio station for the Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA). I loved it. I don't know if my listeners did...
Just found this awesome band! Keep going and ofcourse head to Scandinavia for a tour.
The Biters Are Back In Town
my new favortie band!!!!!!
a mi ya me paso 2 veces, eso pasa porque le ponemos muchas etiquetas y las detectan facil!
Biters rule
you made my day with this song!
What an amazing amalgam of pure pop styles. I hear some Wally Bryson brilliance in here, along with all the usual wondrous influences. How I could have missed this tune baffles me. What a gift, thanks!
Oh my God!!!!!!! I've looked for this forever! Tremendous, Beatles plus Easybeats plus Raspberries magic=heaven.
Steve Carroll describes it perfectly!!
love it!
♥
