As an Idahoan, I always wondered why he chose Idaho. Not because I think he chose wrongly, Idaho is very much the kind of place that could spawn the mad cult that eventually went sane and became the Graysons, but why HE chose it.
Why on earth does this channel not have more visibility? I know that author fan-sites are likely less likely to balloon than movies or bands but this is the man himself talking about the books we love so much! :chuckles:. Spread the word, one and all :D.
I loved how they were descendants of a near-cult out of the Northwest! I also loved that, regardless of my animosity for ultra-religious Christianity, David made the Graysons intelligent, willing to adapt, and finally, genuinely likable.
I liked the Graysons. I think most of them know, somewhere in the back of their mind, that their society is wrong. It is what they are born into, something they are comfortable with, but still... And then Honor busts that wide open.
Im really liked them too they are one of my favorite nations in the honorverese and I also liked Heaven and I also found the Andermann empire interesting besides Manticore
