    I have watched allot of your videos and some of your specials on tv. I have learn allot by watching. But, my thing is I never have the natural ingredients. I have like for example, Garlic powder and or Parsley in a jar. I am assuming there is a big difference. But, if someone is on a fixed income and that is all they can afford. Is it okay to use those ingredients? Just want to say that, You are a great chef and watching you put foods together , you make it look so easy. Your mother is a beautiful lady and she seems sweet. I was just wondering also, if you wife cooks for you sometimes and or you are in the kitchen cooking for your family, instead? Also, When you say grams as a measurement, I am a little confused. My measuring cups says 1 cup/ 2/3 cups/ etc. Can you tell me the correct measurement in those measurements?
    Thanks Chef Ramsey, You are the greatest. You and your family have a Bless Holiday.

      Yes, it's absolutely ok, unless the recipe specifies you can't.
      Of course the taste will come out a little different, but you'll still get most of the experience. And best of all, you'll get some practice with the dish so when you can afford some more premium ingredients, you won't waste them.
      Also, check your local Walmart or Fry's supermarket (may have a different name where you live). They tend to have little live herb plants you can use for about a week for only $3 each. Those have made a huge difference in my meals, and aren't super expensive.

    You didn't specify weather or not the bay leaves are eaten with the pudding. Help? :)

    • @McNubbin101
      @McNubbin101 7 лет назад

      Bayleafs can be eaten yes, Not advised as even after long cooking times they can remain stiff enough to scratch and tear in your digestive system. Better off removing them. :)
