When Fedor was in his prime, the UFC wasn't as good as Pride. Fedor was a small HW in a division that had no upper weight limit.

Back in the day.. The competition in pride was much tougher than ufc, and fedor was the boogie man. When zuffa bought pride.. Alot of the pride guys who went to the ufc dominated

He was born in the Soviet Union, in what is now Ukraine, where he lived for 2 years. He has Ukrainian roots, even his surname is of Ukrainian origin. But he has spoken Russian since he was a child and he is Russian.

back in golden pride fc years there were no weight limits or divisions, all fought eachother... he fought 220cm guys and 160 cm guys, each had their weakness and strengths. prime fedor was untouchable, kinda like today we see khabib dominance in ufc, just not that good striker as fedor, but better wrestler than fedor
