I think he wins those if he doesn't jump right on em after knocking them down. Kudos for them on taking advantage though. That's what fighting is. It happens. In the losses to Bader and Meathead, he wasn't aggressive enough. Let them take the fight to him first. That doesn't happen in his prime.

@jboi6398that's if Fedor can close the distance without getting caught, and that's not even a guarantee he would submit Rampage if he takes him to the ground. This is Pride, if anything isn't really going on the ground for more than 5 mins, the ref would stand both fighters back up. Fedor's losses were all TKO stoppages. I guess you haven't watched a lot of Rampage's fights, how he just overpowered his opponents when they put him in a submission lock, who can forget about his most famous one, against Arona,(one of the most brutal ok in MMA), when Arona had him in a very tight triangle choke, Rampage literally lifted him up and powerbombed him like it was WWE. He also almost did that to Machida.

If Fedor's prime years happened in 2013 - present, he would have been the most popular athlete / star in all sports. He was so enigmatic, respected, and charismatic even by barely spoken words during the peak of his fame. In my opinion, he is still the GOAT in MMA.

fedor's lead right is developed enough to be very short when needed, and rampage couldn't get his arm shield up quite in time -- well to be fair he did, but Fedor managed to find that small opening where Rampage's forearm wasn't covering his temple -- if rampage had positioned his arm just a little better could of blocked it. But fedor is very good at threading short shots through guards.
Amazed to see rampage come into this fight looking like that.
