Chuck Norris was an American icon. I remember him back in the day when he had blonde hair. Besides Bruce Lee there were few martial artists at that time who broke through into acting. Chuck Norris isn't afraid to stand for what he believes in. Whether it's servicing his country in the United States Air Force, developing his martial arts style or his Kick Drugs Out of America Foundation. There are legions of people the world over that always have and always will consider him to be a brilliant martial artist, great actor and a good man.
Y’all do know Chuck trained under Bruce and Chuck got caught lying and got in trouble for saying Bruce is not his teacher. Chuck had to issue a letter apology.
The way it really happened before Bruce Lee developed his own style of martial arts Jeet Kune Do. Bruce Lee learned Taekwondo from Master Jhoon Rhee and later learned more about high kicking from Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris at the time was the World Professional Middleweight Karate Champion and managed to hold for six consecutive years until he retired from competition at 34 years old.
You need to see the footage of Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee sparing in real life then you will know why he asked Bruce Lee to train him. Chuck Norris was the world champion and he couldn't touch him or get close without Bruce Lee putting him on his back.
The accuracy of watching Walker Texas Ranger at Granny house loool...It was both my Grandparents house, but Walker Texas Ranger was definitely one of those shows they always watched, so I watched it with them...
