I ordered some kywi mag pouches for my plate carrier but they came with the shorts straps for the belt setup tho smfh now that I’ve been wearing RUclips about this, I’ve realized I’m going with Malice Clips at this point. Use a tool for the frustrating part. Like a small flat pry bar, it will bridge the malice right up and over the part of the loop that it keeps catching. The flatter the tool the better even a flathead screw driver works

    • @RangeDay

    Are USMC surplus dump pouches supposed to have drawstrings or is it based on the contractor?

    • @RangeDay
      @RangeDay  3 года назад +2

      It looks like the majority of military surplus dump pouches do not have drawstrings, but we have seen some that do. We think it's based more on the manufacturer who got the contract. Drawstrings on newer dump pouches are very common.

    Can u put those malice clips on a 1.5 leather belt for the mags..

    • @RangeDay
      @RangeDay  3 года назад +1

      We have seen some people weave malice clips through the mag pouches and then just clip it around a standard belt. It’s possible to do, but depending on how tight the malice secured around the belt, it may slide along the belt a tad bit.
