This looks like a great camera. I almost impulsively pulled the trigger after watching the video..in fact it is still in my amazon window. Then I remembered that my pricey Nikon DSLR has been trapped at our place in Costa Rica since we left in February. One day they will let us back in! Also..I have been using that same tripod for a few months and I always list it my video descriptions. Its great for those low angles needed with snakes. I use it with a gopro...but it seems sturdy enough for the bigger cameras as well. Looking forward to the next video!
BRO!!! I was looking for reviews of this because I am considering buying one for our channel and I ran across yours. Great review and I hope you and your family are well!
Another fantastic video! I really enjoyed this and your narration was well done! Great full and complete review, cant wait to see the quality of your future videos! Also, your transitions were awesome!
I appreciate your reviews as I primarily photograph wild snakes as well. There's a lot I really like about Canon cameras such as the excellent autofocus and color and was getting close to ordering one of these, but was bothered by a review of this camera I just read on the B&H website that stated that this camera does not offer files that automatically record/display date and time and does not have built-in GPS. For me, a camera also functions as a data logger and I depend on having this information automatically attached to all of my photos and videos, so I'm afraid this would be a deal-breaker.
I use the M50 mirrorless for most of my RUclips videos. I just bought the G50 because I thought it would be more convenient. I love having an all in one video camera, but the image quality and color reproduction just can’t seem to compare with the M50. I’m probably going to return it. I used it for my latest video (107) and had to do a lot of color grading and exposure. The whites were all over 100 ire and I can’t find any picture profiles. Any suggestions?
Would love to have seen some examples of how it holds up in low light or with artificial lights. You can get external light attachments. I am wondering how it would hold up for night time herping.
I have since gotten a cold shoe adapter that allows me to use an external mic and a video light at the same time. Hoping to do some night tests once the spring and summer gets here
Jus ordered this camera!’ So happy to use for skateboard filming
I’ve had this cam for a year, i love everything about it.
Hi! Do you have any suggestions to give regarding the camera?
@@se-na the camera is awesome. I use it in 7 different channels and it works great for content creating as well. Good quality camera.

Thanks for the comment! There are definitely better cameras out there, but this one was great for the price point

Vixias are dope. I use the RF800 as my zoom lens
Does this one have same limitations in low light?
Nice!
Great review, in the market for a new one and you've help a lot.

Excellent review. I need a good zoom lens for some outdoor work.
Thank you!
Weird question but do you think this would be a good camera for golf course vlogs
I like these. Got an odd question, what tripod is that?
You will love the autofocus and image stabilization. It’s a must with venomous!
Zeadio Metal Mini Tripod. Got it on Amazon for 8.99!
Wakefield Wildlife awesome.

Love the snake footage!
Great review! Just curious if you've gotten that external mic yet and which one are you going to get?
I did. It's a little Boya shotgun microphone. Only about 40 bucks, and captures audio pretty well
You got some big hands man. You made this thing look tiny. lol
I'm falling in love with this camera. If it fits into your project, how can you beat the price?
You really can't!
How do you like it so far I’m thinking about getting this for Walt Disney World
I love it!
Great video. Thanks. New sub

This camera is absolutely amazing in low light
Would you use manual focus for a moving object?
You could, but autofocus seems to keep focus pretty well
hallo wie viele stunden hält der akku
Can it be attached to a stabilizer for action shots. And can it support a wireless mic
Probably. It has a typical screw mount on the bottom. And yes, I have used a wireless LAV mic with it
Thanks!
i don't get it, you use that 4K camcorder for the snake. but you upload it here at 1080p. can't see the difference...
Recording in 4K and uploading in 1080 is common amongst you tubers because you get a cleaner 1080p image
Why do these snakes look like they're breathing heavily like they're mad?
Talking about mics you need to get a better one with a lower noise floor. Hard to watch with all that hissing.
Thanks for sharing your review, but please no more snakes! Lol
