Not just the upkeep, but even trying to make use of all that extra space... I'm reminded of the 1989 Batman movie where he goes "I don't think I've ever been in this room before." Not worth it.

The brutalist pack was the perfect cc to bring into this mansion and your talent for matching and contrasting colors along with, textures is awe inspiring. 😃😃. I also choose the pink room… It’s adorable! The theater room is so cool… I love the dark moody feel of it. The master bedroom is gorgeous, I adore dark blue, and it works so well in here. Brava 🧡🧡🧡
I definitely did pause this video and go grab a nice, warm London Fog tea, my knitting needles, and my dog. Then we cuddled on the couch and did some knitting while watching. ❤

you do need to use the same swatches on stuff and wallpaper if you want to reuse them and reduce lag. its so that its less textures loaded when you reuse the same item and texture the game can just use the already loaded texture for all of the repeated items and wallpapers on the same swatch.
Only wanted to point out that Finland is not part of Scandinavia and sauna is a traditional thing only in Finland and Sweden. The wood one of course 😉 Glad to see you use sauna in your builds. Greetings from Finland, your builds are amazing! 😊
Even though it’s not part of Scandinavia, saunas are also huge in Lithuania! A lot of people have them in their houses and it’s a weekly ritual - saunas are awesome!!
Haha, no, it's not only Australia - Denmarks' busses and trains has that kind of geometrical patterns on the seats as well. And yes, I as a kid used my desk a lot, but as well as you did also much of my homework at the dining table ;) Thanks for the videoes!

This place is huge! Can you just imagine how long it will take your sim to walk from one place to another? I guess we could always teleport. You did a wonderful job on the remodel, it's beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

We have the super vibrant patterns on bus seats in the UK as well! I have never understood why I didn't like half the carpets in the sims 4, but this is exactly why!!
absolutely on the same page as Deli and would never want to live in a mansion. Though I would not mind living in a fancy apartment complex with lots of amenities that were not my responsibility to maintain 😅
This build is one of my favourites you've ever done. It's so pretty and luxe without being over the top.
colour-blocking with bright colours to figure out the exterior wallpaper is such a great idea! i used it to block out a modern roof using different platforms and it was so helpful 😀

All the rooms are great but my favorites are the dining room and the blue/yellow bedroom. And deli's hair which is slaying these days!

I love this - one of my Sims lives in the original design just because it was premade and I just went for it. I always felt it was such an odd layout with HUUUUUUUUGE rooms. Definitely downloading this one!
You are so good at planning and furnishing big rooms! I always make my rooms too small and full of clutter, or too big and not really functional. But you make big rooms look good AND functional! Amazing!
Apparently they do bright geometric colours so the dust doesn’t show on the bus seats 😭 I live in the UK but a lot of places do it

god i love how you can look into the pool from the spa and the wrap around gym. it’d be so nice to stay at the mansion for like a few days i think. i like the colour scheme of the master bedroom the most. and the pool house bathroom is my fav

WOW the wellness area of the mansion was my favorite. The idea of a wraparound gym so you can still run some laps, plus the sleeping pods when you first walk in and everything about it. Absolutely brilliant Deli!!
i know you weren't really asking but buses and public spaces often use busy patterned carpet because it's less likely for stains to stand out on them! (similar to hotels usually having white bedding, because it's easy to sanitize with bleach that way)
One of the absolut best sims build I've ever seen!! Just love the idea of multiple get to work tables to make the custom coffee table! It has a little retro vibe but still very modern. And all the dark colours really make it look posh. Absolutly great job Deli! 💚
21:00 Buses and trains have coloured patterned designs, because it helps to hide all the dirt and grime of public transport btw

Buses and bowling alleys use crazy patterns on their floors and seats to visually hide dirt and grime accumulated from public use :)
Deli, colorful fabric with a lot of patterns on public transport is usually used to hide the dirt 🤭 it's just easier for maintenance. Your eyesight won't notice this many stains, etc. on a busy fabric 😅

The 2000 throwbacks! I had a red lava lamp, an inflatable chair, a blue see through phone, the bead curtain in my door frame… what else am I missing 😂

My bedroom is tiny and my queen bed takes up most of it but I wanted that touch of the ottoman to make my room cute!

Yeah, I hardly ever use my desk. Whenever I have schoolwork I always do it on the floor. I only ever use my desk for minecraft😹
I love the quote "cus these blue curtains like perfectly match the ones on the bed almost". Perfectly, almost, it is a contradiction! So classic Deli! Love 💕 it!
The geometric shapes on bus seats are actually so you don’t see the dirt on the seats. That’s also why they are so colorful. Imagine they were black white or grey you’ll see the dust and everything. At least that’s the explanation I heard in Europe but could be the same for the rest of the world🙃

Hold shift. I sometimes find that I have to press shift before using the arrow keys, but other times I can use the arrow keys and then press shift to go faster (for PC I might clarify).

I’m going to imagine this home belongs to a famous and incredibly successful trainer to professional athletes. They even have their own wellness brand where they develop fancy supplements and recovery products for high level athletes(this explains the science lab lol)

I get motion sickness too these days so I understand
I place the floor i want around the circles before I build them. Because once you make the circle the floor glitch keeps that floor. So I lay out all my grass or sidewalk or whatever first, then make the circles last. Plus if i chose the change it to a concrete floor after, bc i placed a floor already, I can shift paint the whole floor, no glitch. But dragging the floor after makes the glitch.
I meant to say if i want grass i use glass tiles. I don't know if that makes sense?
Ohh I see. So just use grass tiles beforehand!

Growing up there was a desk at Ikea that had a white board on it, i thought it was the coolest and wanted it so bad. So we got it, and thats the only memory of it i have 😂😂😂 i dont have any memory of actually using it for anything
Absolutely love this mansion, other than the fact that its a mansion LOL. The color scheme and layout of everything is beautiful, and agree that being able to paint the ceilings really makes a difference
