It is time to get to work on the AWFUL Judith Ward and her AWFUL mansion. It's probably the worst EA build I've ever seen, so we bulldoze the lot and start again... ENJOY!

Judith definitely bought this house in like ‘84 after her first blockbuster hit and just hasn’t bothered to update it since 😭

Yeah and I’d say the house it self must have been built way before then. Maybe when toilets etc were new. That huge foyer with the piano and the two bathrooms I’m getting ballroom/party vibes.

The Sims team must put together builds like this in order to *inspire* us to make renovations. That has to be the reason.. Right? 🙄😬💀

I don't think they are that smart
but like yes, and that's always been the case. Why would you play with Judith if there was nothing to do? She's already at the top of her career so a renovation is like the only way to play
Thats why they give us so many customization options. They dont want us to settle. They want us to make our own. Thats why the npcs are the way they are. Theyre a starting idea not a finished one.
True they gave us the tools and she is at the top of her game, (you could player her in a different career), but the standard of the build reflects a lot of the builds ... half assed, I would rather have more free lots to build on than fix something else
The thing that got me was how the exterior looked like a suburban house even tho the inside was marble from top to bottom.

Thank you for using the same limitations as the Sims team! It’s kinda annoying when people renovate but use every single pack they own like of course it would look better.
I know this was not your cup of tea in terms of style, but you really worked that overly-ostentatious Hollywood Glam look! The llamas with Judith's hair was genius. 😆

I have a weird feeling that Judith’s og house was based on the clue mansion. Thats why it’s layed out like a board game

Lol I knew you would bulldoze it. The only change I would make is add a nursery because for some reason in my saves Judith always hooks up with the most random of sims and has several babies. 😂

Aden! That house is not a McMansion! It has far too much architectural integrity; the roofline makes too much sense; and the back facade is not a complete disaster!
(It's still a MUCH better build than what EA gave us and MUCH better than Judith Ward deserves. Bravo!)

there's a tumblr blog I love called mcmansion hell which taught me everything I know about them. definetly too perfect looking to be a mcmansion, but it's not my cup of tea either
Absolutely loved Judith llamas!
Curiosity: EA in Brazil changes the sims names, for exemple, Goth's family always have been called Caixão (coffin in portuguese) and I love it. It's kinda makes sense because goth archteture is not very famous around here. Anyways Judith is called Cláudia Menescal. Don't ask me why.

In Italy they do the same, only the Goth are the "Arberghini" which sound like "little hotel" absolutely nonsense! XD
@@clarebo it's Elisa and Bob Pancakes hahahaha they don't change all names, maybe just the old ones. the Landgraad are called "Quero-tudo-que-é-seu" (I want everything that's yours). But I would love if Pancakes was chaged to Tapioca or Panqueca (pancake in portuguese)
I remember in ts2 the goth family was renamed to spökh in Sweden, which isn't really a word but it sounds like spöke, meaning ghost
The dutch version is “Van de Kerkhof” which means “from the cemetery”, and the landgraab’s are called “landgraaf”, so i kind of think theyre dutch oriented

I don’t know Judith’s lure, but seeing her mansion makes me think of the movie War of the Roses with Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas, where the literally split the house in half.
But EA still could have done a better job at portraying that.

You're very brave for tackling this house! It looks over the top in the best way possible! The llamas alone reflect her personality better than whatever that old house was 😂
This is much better than what was there…not that Judith deserves better but it is more fitting.
When you made the rounded/domed roof my brain went "That's Judith's house alright", she just strikes me as someone with matching roofshape and hair y'know?

I love it! The absolute kitsh 80s/90s Mansion vibe is perfect! I recently did an 90s inspired penthouse apartment with all the black/dark gray marble and dynamic primary colors. Very masculine and just 🤮. But the story line is that it's a historic apartment of a famous architect of that bygone era that has been restored by a very wealthy admirer that has paid out the butt to restore it and keep it in it's gaudy glory.
Of all the amazing builds you've done, you've peaked at Judith Llamas 😂

This is my first video I’ve seen on this channel, and I might have to watch more after the “renovating awful mansion” starts with just deleting the entire gd thing that’s so good
I LOVE THIS! It's so perfect; just ostentatious, glamorous, and ugly enough. It's everything Judith deserves, including the Judith hair llamas lol. I'm just as childish and that's a delightful use of those bushes. I specially love how you kept the idea of the original build while improving on it with a basic idea (kinda French McManson) using simple details which hopefully shouldn't make the game lag since you know what parameters EA rolls with and it doesn't have a lot going on but it ALSO doesn't look horribly empty (and there's still room for the Glamour and Spa stuff if someone had those for example.) At the same time, I'm pretty certain there's enough space if you wanted to play in this; there shouldn't be any major routing issues. (I mean you've been building for so long that you know how much space everything really needs for a Sim to get by but obviously the narrower it gets the more that can happen, especially if they want a certain animation to take place, like the Woohoo request.) I do think the lore includes half the house being for her husband but you know what? PRETTY CERTAIN Judith would renovate his butt away after she divorces him (lol if it was a divorce since I can't even remember now.) I'd absolutely always replace her OG mansion with yours as soon as it's available.
Btw I would strongly recommend that you find the Origin Set Up if you don't still have it, just in case (though it might not be able to be found), then get the EApp Insta elle because even though it's buggy (and the EA Ap WILL dismiss Origin without asking you first, like the little Judith Ward that it is, but you can potentially just put Origin back after getting the EA one in place.) EA is slowly dismantling Origin so if you're having gallery issues, I'd make sure you have access to everything via EA Applesack before Origin is gone (which won't be any time real soon but you don't want to get caught off-guard.) Both programs use the exact same ser vers so it's just whether or not it recognizes what you have already. If you see something go wrong, try repairing the game through the EA Ap pitself and/or visiting your PfP via that website (also same ser vers as the EA gallery) and that should set it right unless it's some other issue but you can also send in error re ports via the EA app so there's that. Kudos for this build! I'm just eager to see this on the gallery but also every time people say they have issues with Origin I get worried the end is nigh lol. And the EA A pp uses the Origin folders so it should be all good!

I saw the notification for this video pop up and I said "OH! I'M FOR IT!" in my best Aden voice. EA did her dirty but you cleaned her up nicely... I'm LOVING the absolute Judith Llamas and all of the shade. 😇🎉

What an improvement! I actually played Judith for a bit when GF came out and had fun with her. She ended up marrying Darren Dreamer and has two pink poodles. 😆😉
