Flags outside someone’s house usually mean republicans live there 👀

  • @simmershonna

I live in the US and I don't get the whole flag thing either lol. I love how the house turned out. Very beautiful.

  • @hellomimibanana

Imagine how amazing it would feel to see that your home has been recreated in The Sims? Especially this beautifully!

  • @christybee3029

Aden, I’m American and I don’t understand the flag thing either. It’s so weird.

  • @MissSimReno

As a born and raised, lifelong New Englander, Maine is one of my favorite places ever. This brought me so much JOY. And so funny because a lot of houses in New England have got fake shutters, mine included 😂

  • @hot_doge_hangover

Maine is a be-a-utiful place to start; such a gorgeous state! Also, You are completely right that the extreme Patriotism in the US can be off putting. I don’t get it either but, ya know…😂…anywho, beautiful build, darling! Love, an American

  • @simssession

Love this build Aden!! I just got back from a trip to New Orleans and I'm dyinggg to build some of those houses in Willow Creek. The architecture is incredible! Hope to see you do something NOLA inspired soon 🥰

  • @BrokenDollyTV

lol, i'm an american, (mixed half korean and black), i think we tend to have a lot of flags because not everyone here are actually ethnically americans. in fact, none are, except for native americans or indigenous people. so we tend to represent our family heritage with flags, and for those who want to be patriotic to a fault, they like to fly the american flag outside their homes to show solidarity, as we are all from different ethnic backgrounds but are united by our Americanness. at least, that's what it should be. hope that gives a little insight as to why we have so many flags all over the place.

As an American, I have to say that hanging an American flag outside the home is not something that all Americans do. Doing that in certain areas might be a big deal but that does not occur in all of America.

  • @7342crazygirl

Great build. I would love to see a PNW home They have a lot of beautiful craftsman homes with a lot of nature incorporated in the design. ❤

  • @sammooty9344

My husband and I went to Maine last week. I keep telling him how much all of those homes remind me of Brindleton Bay in the sims. 😂

I'm from Maine, and the moment you loaded in I got hit with nostalgia. No longer live in the state but I do miss the scenery and homes. It's so nice to see you do something from my home state!

  • @katiespivey7157

You should look at Charleston - they have two really unique architecture styles called ‘The Charleston Single’ and ‘The Charleston Double’ - they are absolutely gorgeous!

  • @Wonderland759

That's my area! I've been by that house 😂

  • @xudaman____4213

Oh please make this a series🙌🏾 I hope we can do a build for every state❤️, You could also even search decor and interior design for that state

  • @raverboyloki

LOVE the build! Typical Maine home. I vacation a lot in Maine and can see this house there. Few notes about homes in the Northeast. Cellars are typical because it was where you would store most of your root vegetables and canned goods to last you through out the winter. Northeastern homes have a lot of garages (mostly detached) because the vast amount of snow we get during those cold wintery months. Stair cases are typically not open below, because most often that is where the stairs to the cellar/basement would be located, a feature I wish we could do in The Sims4. Downstairs bathroom is adorable, and very standard half-bath. One note, you would want to flip the toilet/commode and the sink, because who wants to look at the toilet/commode when you open a door? Absolutely love your builds. I look forwards to your and many other content creators on RUclips that make things for TheSims

  • @tracey2156

Aden, you never fail to make my day. The things that come out of your mouth sometimes, such filth but I LOVE that you aren't afraid to be yourself. Thanks for giving me a chuckle every time you say something "naughty" or raise those eyebrows lol. Love your sense of humor.

  • @retr0vibe

I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw Maine. I live in Massachusetts and travel to Maine regularly. You NAILED IT! I've driven on that road numerous times!

  • @libbyhardel1826

You gotta do Chicago! We have our own version of Brownstones called Greystones and they're gorgeous!!!

  • @amylempkowski9887

ive been dying to see you build in the spanish colonial revival style in san jose, california for YEARS. there are so many adorable homes that i know you would love!
