RENOVATING "The Roomies" Home | The Sims 4

So, I've been eyeing up "The Roomies" house in Oasis Springs for a while. I don't hate it fully, but I just feel like it needed a little help. So with the use of only Base Game and Desert Luxe, I did something. Hope you like it! See you next week!

Aden, please renovate the Spencer Kim Lewis House, its such an eyesore
If I'm not mistaken, this household is loosely based on the characters from the American sitcom New Girl. The Sims were given the first names of the characters from the show. Zoe is unemployed because the main character on which she is based is also unemployed at the start of the series. You should absolutely check the show out! Anyhow, I love this build and that you made it so accessible to both all players. Thank you!
I absolutely love this! I'd love to see you fix that monstrosity in Willow Creek where the Spencer-Kim's live. That house has such potential and it just is terrifying, even for EA.
I really appreciate how you kept the shell intact while honoring the style with a more contemporary/brutalist vibe! I've seen a lot of Simmers attempt a renovation, and it's pretty much an entirely new lot with a floorplan and style that is so different it doesn't even feel like the same lot. LilSimsie does a good job at keeping this balance as well. Awesome job!
I love how you kept the old style of the house while updating it to your own taste. It looks so much better! If you are taking suggestions I'd like to see your version of the Partihaus household in Windenburg. It's supposed to be a colorful party place but some choices about that house are baffling...

Desert Luxe was like an Oasis Springs update because it sure inspired me to update almost every single Oasis Springs EA build in my game. Lol

This house is actually a remake of a house in the sims 3 basegame, which used to be my absolute favourite house to play in back in the day. Super fun to see you redo this one, bring back a lot of memories!!!
Loved everything about this except maybe for the bedrooms 😅 The tiny, all the way to the top windows just made them look so dark and uninviting. If I lived in a bedroom where all the windows are so high up that I can't look outside, I'd go crazy. Zoe's bedroom looked a bit too old/dark/traditional for the kind of vibes she gives (more modern city girl). But that said that kitchen and the living room both looked so, so good!
Love this remodel. My only complaint was not tucking the toilets away. It might be the interior designer in me, but the porcelain throne shouldn't be the first thing a person sees when they walk into a bathroom. That being said, these aren't real houses, with real people.

That looks a million times better. Not sure what the Sims were going for with the Roomies. Some kind of sitcom gone wrong.
I think a revamp of one of the mansions in del sol valley! That world literally never gets played and those house are sooooo basic😩😂xx

I love how gorgeous you have made this, keeping all the tones similar well also giving each bedroom a similar soft vibe but still individual. You are very talented to make base game work so well for this household.
I'd love to see the Price house redone (in Copperdale).. even though it is a really nice house I feel like you could do a lot with it! Also redoing them in CAS as well because the outfits are an absolute disaster 😂
