Agreed! Though you could make a 4 room hotel for couples or an 8 room hotel for single people and lock sims from entering other rooms so theyre forced to use their assigned apartment
I think that this could be easily incorporated by creating invisible walls or fences that can overlap with existing structures, making the space inside able to be designated as an apartment. Then making it so Sims are coded to prefer using their designated space unless they’re currently visiting someone else’s apartment… rather then needing to lock the neighbors’ doors to keep Sims from using each other’s apartments willy nilly. And that’d make it more immersive, as well, since you don’t have to manually unlock doors every time you want the neighbors to hangout. And you could probably even use the same system to designate an area as the lobby or public bathroom or what-have-you. Could even maybe use something similar to stop Sims from bypassing the nearest sink to go to the one on the third floor.
This hotel gives me Addams Family vibes, very extravagant, very dark and creepy in some places but full of life and love in other places, the decor goes all out no matter the theme
Girl, don’t stop doing you, I love your videos! They are always original and entertaining from start to finish! I wish you had a production team so you could produce 2 videos a day! Thank you for a great content!❤
It would be even more cool if she played with the sim she will build the house for so that we can have an actual story with unexpected changes, maybe dedicating a room to one passion they had during that life stage idk but it seems like a cool idea to me
Throughout the video my idea behind thr lore is that the hotel owner themed the rooms based off of the worlds they visited. They either went with their partner, family, or just by themselves. They brought back souvenirs and figured it would make a fun hotel experience especially for people who might not be able to travel to those worlds.
I actually have a friend who runs a bed and breakfast, and every room is a different country that they either lived in or visited. All with authentic, amazing decor. The rooms are Mexico, India, Middle East, Germany, and Africa.
I knew I'd love this as soon as I saw the title. You are so creative with your ideas and your execution! You also know the items in the game so well, and I was surprised along with you when you found those rocks turn into objects when you put them down! I love this hotel and I think it would be so fun to play with in game to send your sims on a fun themed vacation.
I love your videos! I'm used to see most simtubers build "normal" looking things (not bad, but generic). However when I watch your videos and see how you start your builds I'm like "uhmm, I dont like that shell etc." but somehow you manage to make builds look absolutely great! You're so talented, love the details and how mindfully they are placed
i love sims 4 community. legitimately one of the only actually respectful, kind, wholesome places where people treat each other like people. we all come here for the same thing. it’s awesome.
I was so happy when I saw this video. What a creative and fun idea. I absolutely love this!! 👌🏽👌🏽 I can't even decide which room I like the best. They all turned out so great and you really captured the essence of these worlds beautifully. 💕 I just love your content and I'm constantly amazed by your talent and creativity. 🥰
Mt. Komorebi room would be super cozy to stay in, I love it! But damn StrangerVille room stole my heart and Selvadorada one, too. They fit perfectly on the top floor, the rooms with the weirdest personalities if that makes sense 😅😂
I've watched just about every single video on this channel, yet I continue to be just as amazed at Syd's ability to pull a bunch of inspiration from just about anything, no matter how small and uninspiring it seems. Not to mention, all the builds turn out to be bangers to boot.
there's actually a tiny yama-chan clutter toy that came with snowy escape I believe, it's so funny you still picked the huge statue one to shrink down for the shelf 😂
The fact that you just found that skull object in Jungle Adventure debug made me get that pack immediately (after wanting it for ages)! This build is SO freaking cool, and I loved the tours of the worlds that you gave! ❤️
Coming from someone who loves watching sims be played and recently got the game to play on my own. I thoroughly enjoyed this video because of how much detail You explained for each world. I’m still learning those concepts and lore- while I get the packs I want and the way you showed the worlds and then conveyed them was a great way to help me learn and BONUS the build looks amazing!
So far I'm loving this! Haven't watched the whole video yet but this idea is literally so good. Just seen the outside part so far and omg. Anyways- perhaps a "Every room is a monster high character" would be a fun idea. I'm just addicted to Monster High specifically G1 lol.
This would actually make a super fun build series (kind of like your Bloomcrest one which I loved)! In newcrest, you would do a build representative of a different world for each lot, focusing on the pack and styles of the different worlds (you could use a wheel to decide). The story could follow a sim who loves to travel and, after aging up to young adult, their wealthy parents (the Sims from Bloomcrest? This could be one of the twins...) give them money to travel before settling down. As they visit different places,, they fall in love with pieces of all sorts of cultures and can't decide where they want to live, so they start building a new town that brings together all of the cultures and places that they love! You could also choose the type of build depending on the world too... hopefully that makes sense, here are some possible ideas for different lots: A nightclub to represent san Myshuno A themed tiki bar for Island Living An abandoned house for moonwood Mill A museum for selvadorada A cemetery lot inspired by forgotten hollow A cat cafe for brindleton Bay A traditional Japanese house for Mt komorebi A New Orleans style Manor for Willow Creek
I absolutely love your build videos! It's also really interesting how different structures of hotel rooms/rooms in general from someone that's born in the southeast asia. It's such a huge deal for the first thing the door to be welcomed with is an open space or seating space and not really the bed. I love the gothic room and architecture of the build overall. Great video!
this is such a cool idea! i think my favorite is the jungle room, i would totally stay there, so immersive! all of them are really creative and beautiful though, i love that you didn't just take inspiration from the buildings but also the environment and culture of each world. great video as always!
I absolutely love how much you commit to your build challenges. like actually making a whole room into a jungle for selvadorada instead of just putting a few plants in it haha
This looks like such a fun hotel! I imagine that it's located in an area that attracts a lot of tourists (maybe there's a big famous theme park nearby, or maybe some natural feature--someone mentioned New Hampshire's White Mountains) so there's a lot of demand for hotels. This one decided they wanted to be a memorable part of people's vacations and not just a place to stay (thus gaining an edge over their competition?) so they called themselves something like the "Round the World Inn" and advertise that each suite is based on a different famous place. Guests booking a room can choose which one they want to stay in, if it's available during the selected time. Savvy travelers who want a specific room book it well in advance.
Your creativity and accuracy in matching each room to the respective worlds are awesome. I love how you go the extra mile, such as searching through debug, etc., to make it realistic and symbolise essential aspects of each world. :)
This was awesome! I'd love to see you do more of the worlds as hotel rooms! They'd be neat as separate little cabana-type rooms, so you could do them in the building style of each world.
Omg!! This reminds me of a hotel near me in NJ that has different themed rooms! It’s called the Feather Nest Inn but literally the same as your hotel I LOVE!
Thank you for showing the worlds before you did the rooms because it helped me get a good idea of what the room could look like because I have not seen every single world
I love your build challenges; they're so much fun to watch! I know it's a bit late, but I would love to see you do a Dia de Los Muertos-inspired build. The rug from San Myshuno and the skull from Selvadorada really had those vibes!
I love Strangerville & Selvadora rooms. Love that they're side by side as well. A paranoid conspiracy theorist & an archaeologist would deff be friends lol. I went to a hotel with rooms in different themes before, so I imagine this is just one of themed hotels inspired by movies or something haha.
Such a cool idea! I've seen people do different colour/era, etc house rooms but not different world themed hotel rooms! Obsessed. I was most excited for Mt. Komorebi & Selvadorada but they all turned out amazing! You chose the perfect things to include.
Day 10 of suggesting this! Hey Syd! I have a build idea for you and I think it would turn out so cool with your creativity. The idea is to build a house that looks just like any home. It has a kitchen, living room, bathroom, couple of bedrooms, etc. The twist is that nothing in this house is actually functional. So you need to use objects that aren,'t fuctional or place items so that your sims can' t use them. They can't cook, go to bed or shower, use the toilet or sit anywhere. The challenge is to still make it look like a nice home. Just an idea I tought would be nice to share. Thank you for making so amazing content as you do
I would love to see you build (tiny) houses in different land themes. Like one lot can be Europa and you choose 3 countries on the wheel. And another lot can be another continent. Just a crazy idea but I bet you would make it look amazing!! 🤩
New build challenge idea: everything has to be either one times bigger or one times smaller. I think this would be so cool to do and if it’s anyone that can do it it’s Sydney! ❤
The outside makes me think this is the roadside inn the hero and heroine find themselves having to stay the night at in a historical romance novel, and there is only one room available ✨
This got me thinking you could do every tiny home is a different hotel, where every house is themed around a different weird hotel. Glampingspace has a really good article.

i like to live vicariously through these videos because not only do i have zero packs, but my computer recently ran out of storage and sims won’t update so i can’t play at all. :(
New personality test: which of these rooms would you choose as your honeymoon suite?
Definitely either Forgotten Hollow or Mt. Komorebi for me.
Forgotten Hollow or Selvadorada! I love the Strangerville one but it don't have a double bed in there XD
Edit: The San Myshuno one too!
I gotta go either san myshuno orrrr mt komorebi 😍😍
@@sydmac I love theseeee 🖤
Tartosa 🥰
There really needs to be hotel lots and/or apartment building lots. Like the ability to move in households into the different spaces
Agreeeed 💯

The Addams family has completely taken over my tiktok fyp lately so totally makes sense my inspiration is coming from there😂😂🖤🖤
Please make this a mini series need to see all of the worlds 🤞🏻
Facts
Image how aesthetic the sims that would live there be, like im living for this
And it never fails .. every single time I’m like 😮 wow . I can’t pick a favorite . I always love the little stories you make for each build
Thank you🥹
Girl, don’t stop doing you, I love your videos! They are always original and entertaining from start to finish!

Thank you for a great content!❤
Haha thank you, most days I wish I had a production team too😂😂💕
@@sydmac one day, one day!!
@@sydmac o e day you will. Speaking it into existence is key.
U should do every tiny home is a different life stage (toddler, child, teen, young adult, etc)!!

Strangerville and Selvadorada!
Forgotten hollow
Loved them all but I'm especially in love with the look of Forgotten Hollow and Tartosa. Even though I wouldn't stay in the Tartosa one lol
The wedding stories ❤

Story line idea: the owner is a vampire and uses the hotel to attract victims with different styles and designs choices so they would have ✨options✨
I love this idea!! It all turned out great
Thank you🥰🥰
It's giving Hotel del Luna vibes, where the rooms were customized for the guests. Love it!!!
omgg true
Part 2 of this!!! I loved this challenge!! I don't have all the packs so I even loved your info on each world. Very cool 😎
Thank you🥰🥰
Yes! Would love if Syd did more of these until there were no more worlds!

The fact that you just found that skull object in Jungle Adventure debug made me get that pack immediately (after wanting it for ages)!

What a great idea to build a hotel like that. You'll get a lot of variety this way yet you automatically stay within the style of The Sims worlds.

if i ever checked into this hotel id be very confused on the decor choices 😆love it though great job!!

This build reminds me of the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, California! Super quirky and different themed rooms. One day you should go :)
i just looked this up, and it is now on my bucket list to go😍
I love the longer format💛
I’m glad, enjoy!!🥰
I actually loved all the rooms wish i could build like you btw love your videos
The bubble blower room is by far the best hotel room I ever seen. I would love to stay there IRL!!!

Always such amazing builds!! I love all the rooms, but if I had to stay in one, it would be the Tartosa room! 💕
Oooh! You could call floor 1 the "Honeymoon Floor" since both of the rooms have a more romantic theme to them!
