It's so cute that Deli and James are creating apartments lately since that's how majority of us got introduced by Deli in the first place -- through James and Deli collaborating by building a SIMS 3 APARTMENT/CONDO together

Since you go to these open houses and see how the realtors and interior designers are "staging" the homes, I would love a video where you do more of a "deep dive" and talk about what's "trending" in home staging in Aus right now!

This is so dreamy, it's absolutely amazing! Stunning townhouses, really. I hope you keep doing these before the EP comes out in preparation for it! I'd love to see some expensive and luxurious duplexes, as well as another huge apartment building!!!
Totally agree about bathroom sinks. That’s actually what got me to download CC again - because I wanted some dang good contemporary bathroom sinks!
I hope we can price the nicer apartments more, that would be really realistic. The corner units are definitely worth more with all of the windows.

That would be awesome! My guess is that it will work similarly to how the vacation rental system or city living apartment system works in terms of rate
I don't know about other countries, but bathtubs aren't common here in Brazil (only really rich people have those), so parents have to buy little plastic bathtubs in order to bathe the babies. Once the kids learn how to stand on their feet or walk, then it's shower forever. I wish we had those bathtubs for infants in TS4, just like we have pots for kids.
P.S.: the bathtub is usually passed on, sold or they keep it in case the kid would use it to play with their dolls. No waste ☺️
I’m in US in greater Los Angeles area. The apartment building I grew up in from toddler to mid 30’s had bathtub/shower combos, so it was what I was used to. But, we moved into my Suegra’s (mom in law) old house they had gotten back when my esposo (husband) was a teenager. It had only a tiny bathroom with shower and no tub. So we bathed our 2 children in a tin tub that fit in the shower until they were too big too fit and could take a regular shower with help at first, then on their own. I still miss having a bathtub 🛀.
Fascinating! Australia has been cutting costs a lot in newer apartments by not including bath tubs much anymore. It seems to be a more luxury feature for more expensive apartments maybe. I feel like they used to be more expected and now not so much?

There are ways to do skylights with flat roofs. You can combine platforms and normal roofing with lower them down as far as possible. Love your builds! ❤

I'm also building and planning on where I want apartments in my world, I want a bunch in Del Sol Valley and still working on a colorful beginner gardener townhouse in henford-on-bagley
I'm doing the same, I'm just finishing some townhouses (which I'm so proud of), and I'm going to build a small apartment building next with lots of communal areas. I'M SO EXCITED 😂

I would make a castle. But like an old one where the town was inside it. So I would have the landlord live in the actual real castle (so he/she would be a king or a queen) and the rest (the peasants) would be in small homes inside the castles with their little bussineses (book shop, food market and stuff).
You’re going to be a very happy camper when the packs we voted for come out. I remember both medieval castle & Gothic clothing style won! 👍🏻 They we’re the ones I’d voted for, too. 👏🏻

honestly, the way you talk about brick walls I think you’d love contemporary dutch and especially flemish architecture, it’s a huge part of the architectural tradition ☺️

I love watching you and James build. I credit you both with me getting into building these apartments for the new pack. I've done 2.5 buildings now and none of them are finished but I'm working on it! Landscaping and roofing are so frustrating for me. That and finding doors and windows that match as well.
i worked for a show home cleaning company in the uk for a short time and sooo many show homes were so different!! idk about ALL show homes in the uk but the ones i worked on were VERY decorated and some looked lived in, photos laptops etc :)
You are such an awesome builder/architect and I love watching it happen. I am not all that good myself, but I am learning watching these videos - and in any case it's awesome to have skilled people upload their builds for the rest of us mediocre builders....

Hi 👋🏻 Deli ! Firstly, love the Grinch mug with all the lil Whoville peepos on the inner rim & the Loki hoodie! The build has a wonderful style & I love that the townhouse exteriors alternate & the interiors are similar style but different coloration. I can’t wait to see you & James creating some different living situations. Knowing that you can not only have separate buildings on one lot but literally rent out like just bedrooms with shared common spaces invites some teatime ☕️ 🫖. The Bowser snore is always excellent. There’s something so calming to me about a relaxed pupper snoozing or a cat purring away. Hope you all are having a lovely weekend.

A couple of years ago, I think when you were building Newcrest, you built an awesome little retirement home lot for some elders. Would love to see something like that again with this new pack - I loved that build! 😊
I remember making "apartments" when i first got the sims and making one floor for a couple, one floor for a small family and one for the owner of the building, back when something like that would not have been actually functional, so i am definitely excited for this pack
I live in Montana and I don't like carpet either. Same reason, cleaning it is a beast! I have kids and dogs. they track in soooo much dirt everyday, and with hard floors I can just sweep. And spills just wipe off easily. I grew up in houses with carpet everywhere and it was always stained and looked terrible.
I work as a driver for a furniture styling company in Aus, you definitely nailed the staged house look

My stepmother prefers sandwiched townhouse rather than end ones because she says you pay less for heating in the winter 😆
Deli! There's a way to get rid of unwanted fence posts! so say this is your fence -> HHHHH You're gone wanna get ride of every other fence like this -> H_H _H Then redraw the fence in the blank spots but only one at a time!! If you try to redraw the whole line at once the posts will come back! I didn't discover this myself though, I found out from a short by a youtuber called DizzyMissLizzy

I'm so excited to decorate these types of builds, and ACTUALLY be able to have multiple families live on this kind of "block". I loved playing in those townhouses in Sims 2, feels like a real little neighborhood

This layout is so realistic! In New Zealand a lot of the townhouses are super close to this floor plan

I’m creating a whole apartment building so I can use the renovation you did on “2B Jasmine Suites” LOL. I love that layout. Also I’m not a building and this is the first thing I build that doesn’t resemble a shoe box. I have new found respect for guys like you that do AMAZING building :)

These turned out very nicely Deli! 🩷🩷 The only reason I am not irritated with the Eco roof, black paint, and brick is that these are in an Australian style 😊😂😊. Seriously these look so polished and how fun they’ll be to decorate and restyle. Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
I love your builds!! Could you build a vampire inspired apartment or townhouse? I have a big vampire family and I actually accomplished a vampire and werewolf having a baby! It would be so cool to see a vampire inspired apartment complex for my big family!

I have lived in SF most of my life so sometimes I forget the beauty :) just going about the hustle and bustle of daily life I suppose! I can't to visit Australia, seems so magical to me!

In Germany it is also really common to have two houses behind each other on one lot. The houses can be wider and not so narrow :)

I’ve built 2 apartment buildings. And the units are furnished with a random expansion and a random kit. And now I’m working on a tiny home village
You could use the greenhouse haven eave piece for the lower bit on the balcony.
These fit so well into the new neighborhood!!

townhouses like this in the uk are more L shaped. i live in one in the middle of the terrace and room is ground floor in the middle so you wouldn’t expect a window except the window is parallel to the front door and looks down the external wall of the kitchen

@@deligracy I've used it in Newcrest where I'm adding all your new Newcrest Builds! Although I noticed I'm missing a build (in comparison with your map) in the Oak Alcove 20x15 lot - I can't find anything that looks like the build you have in your map in either your Gallery Catalogue or an accompanying video - am I being dumb, have I missed it somehow?!

You should do a let’s play with this pack with 4 different families!! And depending on the gameplay you could do a different family each episode 😅 I think it would be so much fun!!
