Damm I was so frustrated with the Door and not getting the Parts or being very Expensive importing it. After this video I fixed it in less then 10 minutes. Appreciate your VIDEO :)

Excellent fix! This will work if the plastic breaks off of the back of the panel which happened to me when I had to remove the entire door panel to fix the leather that came off of the panel insert armrest. Thanks!

Fantastic idea - thanks for sharing! I'm guessing picture-hanging wire would give a similar result. I'll try it on mine and let you know if it doesn't work or failed easily. Great post!

The metal plumbers tape works very well too. (the one that is a strip of metal with holes in it)

Probably any hardware store would have some kind of wire, even bailing wire would work.

That would probably work perfect. I'd use the low E or A. Thicker would probably work best.
