- We head out from Rocky Mountain House with the plan to test out this old canvas wall tent in -30°C winter conditions. This thing hasn't been set up in a few years, we thought it being so cold out that it would be a perfect opportunity to break her back in. Once the tent is up we take the time to make an Innu floor and install the wood stove. Having the wood stove was great for cooking our supper and breakfast on. Come join us as we go into the wilds or western Canada and experience what -30°C camping is all about.

I really enjoy all your content but by far my favorite stuff is out in the bush. Would love to hear the stories that wall tent could tell. Thanks Matte
my pleasure sir, if those walls could only talk eh. thanks for your support
Coffee and sausage - breakfast of champions! Champions are crying!
hahaha i just cracked
Love your content, keep'em coming. However I will admit that I'm a bit confused with the timelines and randomness now. I liked the chronological order and journey type videos, like your Alaska series. One minute your in Alaska, to being alone in Labrador, to naked and living like a caveman somewhere in the outback, to shearing sheep on a farm, to fishing on beach, to turkey hunting in US, to mussel catching back in NL, running in the yukon, winter camping in Alberta, etc .. your living the dream, good on ya, i think if you added a timestamp in the desc of the videos it might help those who need order :-) lol
hey Chris thanks for the feed back! I agree with you on the time line thing. Its been pretty hectic here in my life so that's why a couple of these videos timeline aren't current. Working hard to make a fresh batch of videos for you. Ill defiantly look into the time stamp thing.
Two champions in the forest 😂
Cooking up some newfie steaks for the by's!
Believe it or not we still use these Coalman lantern in Canadian army in winter canvas tent 🤣
hahahah! i can believe it.. some of those old Coleman units are so damn tough

Yeah, I love snow camping. Have been in our half of the Rockies also. Def a perk.
Whos that handsome stud with the old bush saber lol.
Grew up camping out of a canvas tent for months out of the year. We don't have trees far up where I live. We carry premade 2by4's that go inside the tent and hold it up. A layer of thin insulated plywood for the floor. Ohh the best. I can still here the tarp flapping in the wind anytime I want. Just close my eyes and I'm there.
really like hearing that, you referring to the flap blowing in the wind. its funny the little thing we hold onto that can bring us right back to a memory.
