I used to build a lot with my hands until a motorcycle accident put me in a bed going on 6 years now. All I can say is wow about your videos and I'm impressed. You belong on one of those survival tv shows. You would win first place I bet. I was so mad though when you had to burn the greenhouse I would love to get my hands on some of the sticky green stuff you grew it's legal where I live now. Hook a brother up jk.
Bahah love when people notice the green house. That must be tough man, can't imagine. Thanks for reaching out. See the car profile pic so guessing you were a car guy back in the day doing that work?
That's my 65 Ford galaxie 500. I am a jack of all trades. Wood working mechanical and electrical. Anything I could get my hands on i would work on. I miss those days.
Amazing Brother Watching you harvest the Partridge, preparing it & eating. Was it Wild Cranberries in the pot? Then seeing you look out at the beautiful night sky & stars. Amazing ❤🙏🏾🪶
ehh Trevor, glad you liked it man. It was partridge berries. It was a very humbling experience being out there with most of the extras stripped away. thanks for watching
Dude! You ate the fox! 😂 I was like oh maybe he is going to befriend the fox. Getting that fuzzy Disney like movie feeling. Then you ate him! Raw! And real! This video is a genuine masterpiece! Job well done! 👍🏻
Hi Skote, is this the Labrador trip, couple yrs ago. Nice job on your trapper tilt cabin even with the thieving fox. Tough as nails you! Like your videos, amazing stamina with the determination. Wondering the maker of the axe, good one for the tasks.
ehh Skote, good eye sir. that fox was almost the end of me I tell ya lol thank you man I appreciate that a lot. the axe is a Gransfors Bruk full length felling axe. that thing is a bush saber, cuts like butter and holds an edge well.
A suggestions: if possible buy a large size Waterproof/snowproof Canvas Tarp the size of your cabib roof.. if 1 is not big.. buy 2... then remove the blue tarp and replace it with canvas..one on the other.. to extend its size... its easiy to maintain..all you need is some get some pine wax and a paintbrush and melt the wax on medium size pineapple tin and paste it with the paint brush on the canvas (when needed).
couldn't agree more. would lovee to have a nice piece of waxed canvas. one of my favourite materials, its just some damn expensive. the 20$ Canadian tire tarps do a decent job in the meantime. have you used a canvas tarp for cabin roof before?
Hiya my friend great to see you back, your very humble and really dont appreciate the amount of work you actually put in, it takes a special person to do this again after you had to burn the first one. Just one question are you sure this plot you are using is within your boundaries?? thanks again

thats great. I really didnt know you had that many videos out. we really enjoy them. your a hard worker and my husband and I feel bad that you had to burn the cabin up.
Naw don't feel bad for me girl. I just kept on going. It was just a cabin, can always rebuild
What a unit, I bet you do miss that. Thank God you did when you could.
I had no idea Dave Grohl was into survival stuff
It's alright to build a cabin. But where you can survive the whole year you have my interest 😊
Amazing Brother
Watching you harvest the Partridge, preparing it & eating.
@@skoteoutdoors
I also really really loved watching your Northern Build at the River.
It was Incredible.
So sorry you had to destroy it
Appreciate that, it was hard but in the end it all worked out fine I think. glad you liked it though
When using your lumber saw you should cut on the pullback, not when pushing forward, and you'll have a much easier time of it.
Bravo
Thanks Steve!
Dude! You ate the fox! 😂
I was like oh maybe he is going to befriend the fox. Getting that fuzzy Disney like movie feeling. Then you ate him! Raw! And real! This video is a genuine masterpiece! Job well done! 👍🏻
Bahaha I'm glad you get it. They are cute for sure but so is most animals we eat. Let me tell you though both those fox's were delicious
I gotta take you out gold sniping! You would do well!
hahah shit I wish, tried my hand at that once remember
@@skoteoutdoors lol whenever you are in BC next, I will show u spots with crazy gold. Canyons . Wetsuits n googles n we get you nuggets
ouuf copy that. sounds right up Skotes alley!
Build a 46-yard wooden house big enough for you
Hi Skote, is this the Labrador trip, couple yrs ago.
How many days did it take you to finish building your cabin?
Mmm I'm not exactly sure since many days I was busy with other things and didn't build
A suggestions:
if possible buy a large size Waterproof/snowproof Canvas Tarp the size of your cabib roof.. if 1 is not big.. buy 2... then remove the blue tarp and replace it with canvas..one on the other.. to extend its size... its easiy to maintain..all you need is some get some pine wax and a paintbrush and melt the wax on medium size pineapple tin and paste it with the paint brush on the canvas (when needed).
couldn't agree more. would lovee to have a nice piece of waxed canvas. one of my favourite materials, its just some damn expensive. the 20$ Canadian tire tarps do a decent job in the meantime. have you used a canvas tarp for cabin roof before?
You need to go on the show "Alone".
To rough a crowd
Hiya my friend great to see you back, your very humble and really dont appreciate the amount of work you actually put in, it takes a special person to do this again after you had to burn the first one. Just one question are you sure this plot you are using is within your boundaries?? thanks again
Thank you and I'm glad your enjoying it. And yes this cabin is safe lol
