No BS brother, if stuff turns sour in our country ever make ur way to this part of the country, there’s always a place for u at our table. We ain’t got it all figured out either, but we can definitely show u how to feed ur self, and we’ll definitely protect u if it comes to that!!! Much love and respect brother!!

Put in work, pull your weight, make a hand and you got a spot with any southern family. . Makin a hand means being the kinda worker who dont give up, handles his shit, and makes his boss proud to have you workin for him. Aint nothing better a man down here can say about another. when he says" Yea I know that guy he's a hand" Someone says that about you and the man listening knows the guy being talked about has earned respect.
The fact that you are reacting to Hank and have a Tool shirt on makes me respect you all the more.
He a man with the great taste to be open minded
Hell yes
Ain't that the truth?
FACTS👌
Yeah he’s so cool .. Lv this guy ..
I'm Mexican American and live in the South. Hillbillies are stereotyped alot of times as racist which is wrong. Me and my friends , who are mostly African American, went to the mountains in North Carolina and made friends for life with those "Hillbillies" since 11 yrs ago. Hillbillies will fight for their friends and never give up on people. They welcome you into their homes and feed you the best home made meals you'll ever taste in your life. BTW, Hank Jr did have a best friend in NYC and he was actually killed by a robber in a store.
Yes sir!!
We good people
We’re going to need each other to survive. These politicians keep trying to keep us, You and me devided. That must never ever happen.
Preach. The smart ones here in the south already know that. We got each other's backs way out here son. They don't want you to know that shit though. Peace baby.
That's flat truth right there. Here in the Southwest we got each other too. Well idk about in Cali, but everywhere else.
Facts

Things are mostly fine when you turn off the tv and talk to neighbors. Some cities might have issues but as a whole, America and its countless country towns will survive.
In many ways outlaw country is the country version of gangsta rap

Yes! I totally agree. Outlaw country is very much like gangster rap.
Knowing you don’t have everything figured out is a BIG part of figuring everything out. 😁

And forget what you heard. These country boys don’t care what you look like. Come to the country, put work in. You will survive. All these things Hank sings about don’t come easy. But nobody is going to hate on you when you work to survive.
That's the part about country boys. We don't care what your skin color is...we'll accept you, teach you, and protect you. We just ask for that in return. Love you, brother!!!
I’ll second what ur sayin!!, but we can’t leave out our country women, because without them we ain’t nothin!! Much love to u and urs brother!! God bless y’all!!
This man grew up with music royalty. Learned to play the piano from Jerry Lee Lewis the god son of Johnny Cash. And took some guitar lessons from the hoss Waylon Jennings so if you hear Hank say “ain’t no rookies here” he ain’t lying
I remember him talking about Fatts Domino too, but don't know if he learned from him.
He can also play a banjo pretty well. There's an old live performance of him playing the Foggy Mountain Breakdown.
@@Gutslinger yeah he can play Banjo also, I’ve seen videos of him playing drums and steel guitar as well.
You might also mention that his father was Hank Williams, the actual father of country music. He had ELEVEN number one hits and 35 songs in the top ten in the 1930's, 40's and 50's.
@@ks5553 Hank Sr. would probably say the father is Roy Acuff.
I hadn’t read the comments but was thinking ‘royalty’ and you said it. He is too. Legendary.
Ol Bocephus is a true original Outlaw of Country. He like his father before him. Did whatever the hell he wanted. And gave zero f*cks what anyone said or thought. I love this song so much I have the title tattooed on my arm

His dad, Hank Williams, was the original outlaw super star, dying at 29 from drugs and alcohol. No one has ever achieved such heights of stardom and recordings as he did in just a very few years!

I wanna come! I need to learn to live off the land the way
The way we all did not too long ago. My grandma was a little farm girl who married a man in the city. When the Great Depression hit, her husband( my grandpa ) mentally collapsed but my grandma headed back to the land and showed everyone how to survive from plants and fish and various animals. Squirrels, opossum, deer.... She saved the family including her proud city husband.
AMEN. I am Bama born and bred. Thank God daily for that blessing🖒.
We stay REAL up here in Bama. No I didn't get it wrong, when you come to Dixie You are moving up ☺️
I always wonder if these reactors really realize how honest this song is. I'm also from Bama and this is like how I grew up. I dont know anything else.
My Dad made us live in a school bus on our farm for an entire summer. We had a house but he wanted us to appreciate all the convenience we had. We hauled water, built a outhouse, fished, grew a garden, cooked over a fire and took baths in a metal tub, after heating up water. We learned to appreciate let me tell you! So I got your back!
I'm 66. I was raised from a garden, the rivers and woods. Stop and think, how many things you DON'T really need. Great to see you younger folks taking interest in great American music.
Hank did survive this: On Aug. 8, Williams, then 26, and a friend went hiking along rugged terrain near Ajax Lake in search of goats. Williams slipped and fell about 500 feet, sustaining "serious head injuries as he struck jutting rocks," according to a story from The Associated Press that ran on the front page of the Aug. 11, 1975, issue of The Tennessean.
A helicopter was forced to land about a quarter of a mile away from the accident scene. All told, the rescue took six hours, with six men carrying Williams to the helicopter, which flew him to Missoula Community Hospital.
I cant say i follow hank jr but i am well aware of alot of his music but thank you for letting me in on some crazy history

Here in Southern Indiana we survive . I hunt , fish , grow my garden and a few pot plants but the best thing we do is help our neighbors .
"I am still learning" is the most intelligent thought we can have as human beings. Good for you to say it, if more people thought that way this world would be a better place. Too many people make their mind up and then just live in the confines of their ignorance. Love the content, brother!

Grew up in the city on the west coast and I used to laugh at this. After 20+ years in the south living in the country, I have nothing but respect for country folks, I wish I had grown up here instead.
West Coast same same same ❤
We can’t choose our families, nor where we’re raised up at. I’m from Eastern Kentucky, and I drove truck OTR, mostly the East Coast, and the furthest west I got was Kansas, and I’ve got to say I met nothin but good folks in every city, or small town I visited!!, but I reckon it’s a choice a person has to make to show respect and love to others, and I choose that way every time until feel it’s time not to!! I hate too say it sure seems like there’s a lot of that missing these days 🥺🤷🏻♂️. Much love and respect to everyone from this ol’ country boy!!
I’ve been a country boy for 54 years and when the shit goes south I’ll be just fine. The part about his friend is true with the exception of the amount of money in his wallet. He only had eleven dollars in it. His murder has never been solved. Hank Jr is an original country outlaw and has lived through some stuff. He fell down a mountain, had a serious drinking problem, and the old school country singers tried to blackball him when he was first starting out. He comes from country music royalty but refused to play traditional country music.
Also that’s a badass TOOL shirt.
Hank 111 is doing his own thing as well.
Absolutely.
I came from the West Virginia coal mines.
Let’s get this party started already.
I'm 49 😊
Start small. If you have a patio, grow some veggies. There are many homesteaders who have RUclips videos. It's really cool stuff. Don't run to the country until you've had an opportunity to learn some stuff. Research different states...population, how do they vote, what's the cost of living, what is the soil like, property taxes. I'd stay out of democrat states, they'll tax and regulate you to death, also climate. How many tornadoes have they had the last 50 years, etc. You're gonna want to get as far away from cities as possible because there will be anarchy. Most city people don't know how to do diddly squat about how things work. Try to find an old Ford truck, my dream is a '72 F 100. No computers. Get a manual and learn about older engines. Get a dog or 2. That's my advice, darlin. Happy Thanksgiving.
what is really great is that we can come together in appreciation of good music, reguardless of color or creed. Love watching people listening to new types of music!!! Music can truly bridge the gap of culture. Love your videos and reactions!

I was blessed to be raised a country girl. Daddy taught all of us to hunt. Even us girls. Mama and grandma taught us how to garden, raise chickens, goats, and how to can and store everything we grew. My family had no problem with food during the pandemic and we shared all we could with our neighbors and friends. I've even got some prime seeds from Holland and Denmark stored up and know how to grow on my own smoke. ; ) If we ever have another crisis like the pandemic or whatever, I know me and my family will be just fine.

Young sir, 1st off I love your reactions. The fact that you are open minded enough to trying new things without prejudice and actually listen to the messages the music tell says more about you than you know (a mature trait that most people, your age and older, don't even attempt to do) never, NEVER lose that youthful energy and laugh. I NEVER, EVER noticed the Gucci shades! I've seen this video 1000 times b/c I love this song. I love Hank Williams Jr. Hmmm?
Ole Hank Jr is a country LEGEND. One of the greatest of the genre, glad you got to experience him!
When/if civilization finally collapses people in the city will be like "Oh shit". People out in the country be like "'Bout damn time"
@Cifer ~ Totally agree. The USA is a freight train barreling down a mountain that’s out of control and ready to fall off the track.
Best thing I’ve seen on the Internet today. Leo reacting to Hank Williams, Jr. Got to love that discrepancy yet similarities. We are all similar despite our differences and we are in this life together.
If more People realized that we'd have a much better world.
George Carlin on similarities spells it out. Everyone is way more similar than most realize. Yet the government, and in turn media, keeps that hiden, so we keep fighting.
This is the story of my life. I have lived a country stress free life my whole life. I got my neighbors back just like they have mine. If they need and I have it, they got it. Country folks can hunt, fish, and grow our own food. Country people will survive.
Growing up on a farm taught me that I can figure anything out.
Yes Mam :)
All My Rowdy friends by Hank Williams Jr next!!!
This song is red white and blue through the heart.
That is how Hank rolls :) Loved growing up in a Small town being a Country boy.
People aren't telling you what you need to hear...they're telling you the truth because you deserve it. You're a positive force in an otherwise shitty world.
Awesome artist, Hank is an all time favorite! You never see him without shades and a hat, he had a really bad accident in the mountains.
I'm from the country, but never was much of a country music listener. However, Hank Williams Jr. and Johnny Cash are amazing artist and I really admire all of their stuff.
Yep. For me Johnny Cash is untouchable. Magic.
for me it's Cash,Jennings,Haggard,Williams sr and jr ...the list goes on and on
Help is always given...in the south. COUNTRY FOLK will and always do survive. No matter what. I always will have a vacant place at my table for anyone that truly needs it. That's why I always say ALL LIVES MATTER. No matter what.
Hank Sr was one of the first country superstars, died a drunk at 29. Jr fell down a mountain and tore up his face bad when he was a teen, that is why he wears the shades and the full beard. Hank is the MAN!
Best channel ever, I love the diversity of your content! Keep it up!
Check out Hank's daddy. He paved the path for him and many others in country music and Nashville. His name is, well obviously, Hank Williams Sr. Love your videos, keep up the good work!
Mind Your Own Business, I Saw the Light, or any Luke the adrifter would be good ones to start with!
If you want to learn how to survive, start hanging with the old timers, you definitely will learn how to survive. They are full of wisdom.
You need to watch the story of how Hank Jr survived falling over 500 ft over a cliff. His face was totally rebuilt due to the severe damage. It is a miracle he is alive today. Great reaction. Hank has many more great songs so check them out ....you won't be disappointed. Take care God bless!
