the man, the myth, the legend, the great POM! a man of few words but when he speaks we listen! An absolute workhorse for Munster, Ireland and the Lions! He will truly go down as one of the all-time greatest players in world rugby!

I imagine he's still beating himself up over the red card against Wales a while back but found massive redemption against the ABs. All the group seem quietly resolute especially Sexton. Definitely my favourite time of year with 6 Nations and Cheltenham, what a weekend ahead of us.

I am surprised Pete didn't pull you up on the 2013 Ireland team to play Scotland Keith Earls started and Dave Kilcoyne was on the bench. Both are very much still in the mix in the Ireland camp today. I listen less and less to OTB, such bias toward Leinster setup. Ulster man Iain Henderson was in the 2013 line up too.
Nathan suggests that only two players from the 2013 line up were still in the Ireland squad today, the truth is that of 5 those players still are in the Ireland camp. Nathan's regret comes from the 9 Leinster players who have since retired.

Great interview Nathan. I'm a huge fan of POM but he's maybe not the easiest guy in the world to interview, but you handled it very well.
I couldn't tell if he was avoiding looking at the screen or he didn't have a picture feed so just wasn't looking at it.
