    You need an end cap to hide the threads on the end weight... will make it more finished looking instead of seeing the stainless and threaded hole on the end.

      That’s a good Idea. They should put some vibration dampening thing on the end that covers up the threads

    I am just getting back into archery, and will be participating in a 3D league this summer. I will be using my mathews Z7 that I pulled out od storage and am having restrung. I would like to do a front and side stabilizer setup that is maybe 12" max on front, but don't have mounting holes on back side of bow. What would you recommend for both bars and mount?

  • @baptistepothet7453
    @baptistepothet7453 Год назад +1

    Hey Chris, nice vid as usual; yet: you seem hyped by the threaded weight; while I just see usual method, such as shroud. As you’re a Matthews guy, the way the managed their additional weight module system is obviously more innovative. With more thread comes more opportunity to get one unscrewed…

    Should I get one tho?

    Would be interested to see how these compare to the AAE mountain series. Obviously the AAE doesn’t go to 30in but they seem really similar. The 15in AAE is 2.75 oz and the UV is 3.25 without the first 2oz which I don’t think you can remove, so seems almost double the weight. And it is $60 cheaper

    With that being said about bias,,,,technically if you kept your quiver on,,,wouldnt that provide bias? When hunting, a rear stabilizer is not needed if u hunt with a quiver on, right?

    Im all for making new things and I don't like being negative for no reason but come on guys this new launch is ridiculous.
    Not all rods are the same...
    Conquest and Axcel add unique materials.
    RamRods and Conquest have tapered designs
    Ramrods do a tungsten end cap
    And it goes on😂
    The weights are not unique at all, weights with built in threads have been around for yonks (since we have been kids)... so I have no idea how its a patented design
    The mount is near as make no difference a Shrewd Atlas

    Expensive stabilizers are snake oil. It’s offset weight to influence holding bias, you could accomplish the same with a tree branch.

    • @thorwaldjohanson2526
      @thorwaldjohanson2526 Год назад

      @@Range-Xstiffness does Indeed matter, but yeah, you could achieve the same stabilization for a lot cheaper. The big difference is that it would weigh more. There is also the question of how much stabilization you actually need VS learning to let it float. But as in almost any sport, if you want the super fancy high end accessories, it's gonna be expensive.
