    I'm late to this video but have to say that you'd probably be better off running the cord to the top limb to avoid clearance issues with a quiver when the cord is limp. Mine's set up that way since last summer and works perfectly with zero issues or adjustments since. I used Hamskea's little $20 bracket to tie to and run the rubber spring thing right up close to it. It hangs straight down with gravity instead of flopping over like it does when tied to the bottom limb.

    Rather than the ball on the cord, you can use a Prusik knot or a Blakes Hitch. That way there is no need for an allen wrench to adjust in the field. Ive had the rest for several months and nothing but good things to say about it. That said the QAD's Ive been using for 10+ years are great too.

    • @N8Stein
      @N8Stein Год назад +1

      He has talked about the prusik before. My bet is he finds it 1" inconsistent at 60 yards or something so he doesn't use it. Or he just doesn't wanna pull it tight every once in a while with how much he shoots.

    you do know that your fletching's steer the arrow essentially right out of the bow? Put a bare shaft on at 6 yards you may get an inch tear vs bullet hole with vanes. I was fooled for a long time using fletched arrows thru paper. Bare shaft is critical.

    I have been shooting different Hamskea rests for 10 years starting with the Hamskea VersaRe10hey released it.
    They are rock solid, easy to setup and awesome to make adjustments in the backcountry if something happens and nocks the bow out of tune.
    The Hamskea Epsilon seems to be an awesome rest.

    I've checked a number of those yellow plastic string and arrow levels against a Stabila level and they are off. The factory precision on those yellow plastic string and arrow levels are quite poor. Better to find ways to make small levels from companies such as Stabila that specialize in making high precision levels work on a bow and arrow.

    • @Muskiehunter92
      @Muskiehunter92 6 месяцев назад

      brace height does not change on a bow. It is the distance between the string and throat of the grip. The rest has zero effect on brace height... maybe it adds a half inch over draw which is negligible generally speaking other than maybe slightly changing the torque tune of the bow.

I like the look of the trx 34 v3x 33 and don't quite think I have the skill to choose between them could you please give me your opinion on which would be the best bow for a target and 3d/field, if you could only have one as a hybrid. l love your content and you have been the one that turned me into A Mathews fanboy I'm open to other suggestions regarding the models too I also love your beereal branding like the black bow gold strings and the black and yellow shrewd bars.
