    The thing I love about this the most is that u like single boxes where you can tweak one sound and it's hard to tweak new ones on the fly - you can have all your favourite sounds saved and ready for tap tempo in one great sounding unit that can also give you midi control and stereo as well as a pre post loop. No brainer. If you can't see that and think it's too expensive you probably don't need it.
    It's going on my live board as soon as I can afford it though.
    This one delay a compressor overdrive and distortion and ive finally got a 5 pedal board ;-)

    I'm very happy with this pedal. I replaced my M9 since I only used it for Mods (and EQ). It would cost quite a bit more to buy individual pedals and then wouldn't necessarily sound better than the Mobius. IMHO The Mobius has some of best sounding MODS I've ever heard, vibe being my.favorite. thanks Mike!

    I have recently been compiling an expensive, unrealistic list of boutique modulation effects that I would need for session work. I was seeking out effects with tap tempo control or expression inputs. I think I'm going to give up on this headache and get a Mobius and an expression pedal. I don't think that I'll regret my decision. What an awesome device.

      Jake Stewart Music So, how does it work for you? Did you get it?

    • @jakestewartmusic

      I honestly went back and forth on the decision to get one and I'm finally close to pulling the trigger. I'm going to get a bigger tour board and wire it all up with a Mobius, Timeline, and Blue Sky. I played both the Mobius and the Timeline the other day and loved them, so I doubt I'll regret the decision.
      Part of what is selling me on the Strymon stuff is the simplicity of the overall signal chain. I think that the less pedals you can stick between your guitar and amp, the better. The Strymons replace racks of pedals that you would otherwise have to wire, power, and maintain. And the Strymon quality is just so pristine... Can't go wrong. Can't wait to get mine.

      +Jake Stewart Music Well yeah I'm happy for ya. I'm 16 and I'm still working on getting the money, and there's so much other stuff to buy like a new amp, acoustic guitar, other pedals, but yeah I'm thinking the Mobius is the right choice when I can get it. It has all the effects I'd need for songs plus more to experiment with, and it sounds mostly good to my ears. Plus, I could always return it and go the other route if I really didn't like it. When it comes to stuff like the Timeline and the Big Sky, I just don't need to spend that much on reverb and delay lol. I also agree to that having less pedals to worry about is a plus.

      I definitely recommend trying one out and make sure you can find a lot of different sounds in there you'll actually use. I knew a few people who got rid of their Mobius because they ended up only using a couple of sounds in it and it was cheaper to just buy the effects that they needed. Right now, I'm just using a Moog MF Trem because tremolo and rotary effects are my favorite modulations. Honestly, I'm well covered with the Moog for now until I decide to get the Mobius. It's all about finding what you really want/need as a player. But if you're going after a lot of different modulations in one package, the Strymon is definitely a killer option that'll save you money in the bigger picture.
      By the way if you're new to modulation, I definitely recommend the episode on That Pedal Show about modulation basics. It'll help you decide which types of modulation effects you like and help make more sense of the Mobius if you decide to get one. But you might already be familiar with either modulation types of That Pedal Show, just thought I'd recommend it in case. Cheers!

      Jake Stewart Music Thanks, I'm pretty sure I have seen that episode. I'm not really that new to modulation and I've tried out the mobius a few times. I am looking for multiple modulation effects for the music I wanna play so yeah that's why I'm so interested in the mobius in the first place.

    Ya seriously. I have two of these on my board. Couldn't be happier with them. I don't think actual high end, individual pedals would sound nearly as good.

    Where we can eventually hear that it has a vibrato ! that works well ! here it seems the MIX is not full, but it should do the job. heard so much critics about its vibrato mode (chorus machine), but no.

    Just opened the box and read the manual. Mobius isn’t very intuitive so trying to find helpful information is important. If I knew all the functions (which I don’t) and how to use it then maybe this vid would help. I have no idea what you are trying to demonstrate and the effect led lights aren’t very easily seen.

      @@wolfsguitars5238 I spent way too much time trying to use that POS. Sold it years ago for some much better and more user friendly. Dollar for dollar, the Möbius is easily the worst pedal I ever purchased. I don’t regret selling it but I regret buying it.

    • @wolfsguitars5238
      @wolfsguitars5238 3 года назад

      @@jamesrohr1 still doesn't require midi to play out live and it sounds like you have no idea what your talking about. There's many many professionals all over the world that use them on there pedal board there basically number one to go to especially in master recordings. I'm thinking it was to much for you to learn and handle should probably just leave it to us pro's.

    • @jamesrohr1
      @jamesrohr1 3 года назад

      @@wolfsguitars5238 Of course it doesn’t require midi to access the patches, however if you need to access several, in real time, you absolutely have to use midi to get around quickly. Otherwise you have to tap dance and scroll through bank like an idiot between songs.
      I’m not arguing with you dude. Again, I sold that piece of crap years ago.
      The Alexander Pedals Wavelength crushes it however in a much smaller, more user friendly, better sounding pedal.
