You should do docs like this for:
• Cash Money
• No Limit
• Rap A Lot
• Dipset
This needs way more likes
Cash Money got A LOT of dirt from beginning to now. Being from south Louisiana I heard a lot of rumors or truths.
Cash money doc would be phenomenal
we need that CASH MONEY DOC !
@@keitho2479 like what?
Thats why my favorite group is the lox never broke up loyalty over royalties.
Facts
Yeah they never had roc a fella money to fuk em up that's why
As a former producer for Rapcity tha Bassment (1999-2002), who was there during this era etc. I say GREAT JOB! Couldnt much to disagree with. A few points you missed but it was extra insider sh#t. Gr8 job.
That's dope! All this was done by research via the internet. Maybe one day when I get bigger I can actually interview people who were actually there
Damn thats awesome!
@@Tastaalex I watched from afar. I remember hanging with my homegirl that hosted Roc Radio on Power 105 when she played a Jay Z song that Dame hadn't cleared. She told him Lyor & Jay brought the song to the station. The look on Dames expression on his face... PRICELESS....he stepped out, made a call, came back lookin like somebody kicked his dog She & I both whispered... Damn... Its over.
@@dbradandthem2727on here lying lol 😂
@@MrAjking808😂😂😂😂
The breakup was definitely inevitable because dame was definitely beyond talking to because of his big personality....
If you think that’s the reason then you haven’t done your research. Dame’s personality has nothing to do with it.
Did you not watch the video
Maybe but hold Jay Z accountable too, stop speaking from your heart
Did you not watch the 1st 3 episodes? Jayz snaked him he started having meetings about Rocafella behind Dames back
Dame was on point about (everything) that he was saying - but they always make it seems as if you are crazy and tripping, to get you out of the way - and dude is still dropping knowledge right now, but nobody is paying attention
You really did your thing on this. And the fact you wasn’t born during most of the Roc reign. It’s rumored Jay line at the end of Thank You on Blueprint 3, “Kiss the wife good night for me *laughing” was about Rachel Roy. Blueprint 3 was released in 2009, the same year Rachel filed for divorce from Dame.
It's funny, the one everyone slept on was Kanye and he ended up being bigger than everyone, I don't think Kanye would have grown under the Roc though. Kanye wanted to be Jay Z and then he wanted to be bigger than Jay and that's what Ye did. Super dope documentary, thanks for the journey.
And he would of did a deal wit fila instead. Imagine that alternative dimension
Listen, it was ordained for ye to be with the roc, remember no one saw his vision but dame, and because of dames instinctive a&r skills we have the yeezyz and the kanye workout plan. If dre would of signed him it would be beef !!!
And he would of signed a fila deal and come out with the "yevils "
Definitely not bigger then Jay-Z were is he now?
@@Scorpion-dn8juhe is bigger than jay in every way. Jay can’t put a sneaker and clothe line and have make billions..
i really enjoyed this 4 part series . i brings back memories of information i knew already but also enlightened me about things i had no idea about or was having questions about . good job bro !
I love your documentary!!! I just watched all four parts in a row. There was so much history in here. Thank you for all your hard work.
So glad I found this channel! So authentic you can tell you really put in the effort it’s amazing! amazing doc, keep it up!
Great work!!!! You definitely covered everything. It’s dope that you know this music when you was soo young at the time it came out. Keep doing yo thing!!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
This my 2nd time I watched your channel. I'm very impressed with your knowledge and your delivery of information. This break my heart how Roc ended.
Thanks my dude you did a hell of job and I appreciate all the work that you put into to make this Doc complete very well done!
Wonderful job Young Man. I witnessed a lot of the things you focus on. You did your research. Keep it up. Stay encouraged 🙂
Good job on this roc series man. I grew up a kid & teenager during the roca fella era. You pretty much nailed alot of the stuff I remember growing up.
Real good job on this whole series! I think the whole Roc story is 1 of the best to learn from in music history & you did your thing in all 4 parts. All 4 parts were broken down really well & I couldn't wait till the end which was my favorite but saddest part. I do believe, that long story short, Jay Z just out grew Dame & Biggs & he just wanted to do his own thing.
Great job 👍🏿 Can’t wait for your next videos
fire very good job much appreciated your like the only dude making docs from this era and its needed
I truly enjoyed your work. I'm from New Orleans and in a east coast music lover. Keep it coming
You did a really good job with this series my man... congrats!
Tuning in from Florida. Salute on a job well done with this documentary, brother!
🔥🔥🔥 doc bro!! I’m just getting done wit part 4, u got ah new subscriber 💯🤟🏾
Yoooooooo bro props on making these videos about rocafella. Excellent content. Much respect ✊🏾💯
Good work young bro! I can tell you got respect for things before your time and I respect that 💯
Well done, beautiful documentary. 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Great job with the doc, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
👏👏👏👏👏👏great video. All 4 parts of the Roc went in depth of things I didn't even know. Respect from Alabama. "Can I get a Encore" 🙌💎.
Man you did one hell of a job. I’m subbing cus of that hard work and I want to see what’s next. Good job bro 👏🏽
Checking in from Baltimore! Keep pushing and dropping🔥🔥 I grew up on all of this💯
Correction: I don't know why I said the Young Gunz released "Back to Business" in 2005 when they released it in 2010 I believe
Yeah it was released in 2010 under the “Chris & Neef” name
I'd highly appreciate the name of that instrumental at the 15:15 mark that started playing? Its dope!
@@peace_of_mind_00 I got you!

I love docu-series and I love Hip-Hop. You did such a swell job on educating me on these monumental moments in Hip-Hop history. Thank you for this docu-series. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Excellent job on this bro I learned a lot and I’m from this era lol keep up the good work
Thank you for this. Great job 👌🏾
Another good video my friend from London ✌🏾👏🏾👍🏾
You are a very educated, sharp young guy! Keep up the good work and i wish you the best! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Just a little clarity. Jay-z came to a dame about selling his stake in rocawear and they gave him the 20-30m. The next week they announced Jays 200m dollar deal.
I would been pissed
Really enjoyed this series. Big up from London !
Glad I found this channel. Great work, man.
Hey love how you compared that to the wire scene with prop joe and Marlo that was so much of a perfect example I had to whip my head and say damn he really put some true thought into the whole situation keep up the good work young brother
Appericate the time you put in to do this documentary. Great job. I hope you live your dream one day and make it happen. Peace n blessings bro.
these docs are big for young artists. Awesome job g
Thank you for this bro, showin love all the way from Houston. I watch this during my lunch break! Its lit!
Great job King!! Keep pushing and grinding homie

That's what's up, I'm watching from the Bull City too!
I'm enjoying all this stuff bro gd looks
Brooklyn out here! ✊🏽
That was a great wire plug you did that was tight 💯🔥🦅
Good job youngin keep doing you're thing My G.... Solute from brooklyn NYC 🗽🖤
I grew up in this era, and you gotta love it is soooo slept on, im glad you always bring it up. Also Sorry Ms Jackson - Jadakiss and Styles P (50cent diss)
so many slept on dangerous diss tracks
Me too best Era
Great doc series, specially since you were not arround when most of this happened. You really did your research and I comed you. Also, you provided some insight that I did not know about the break up. For years, I blamed JayZ for the breakup but now I completely understand his possition and why he had to do what he had to do. The Dynasty was great while it lasted.
I think one about G-Unit would be so dope.
Yup
Biggs is a lot of video just playing the background like usual, he is the one who pushed the young Gunz and was the one who first saw potential in Kanye west
Being waiting on this !!!
One thing to mention, A Son Unique actually got a streaming release recently, I was able to listen to it last year. And checking Discogs, there had been a few rare CDs of the album being released in 2005 after ODB’s death.
The Wire analysis was spot on this entire series about Roc-A-Fella was fire.
Great doc. Really hope you do series on other labels/crews. Regarding your wide taste in music, you're not alone. I could go from lupe fiasco to Maria then follow up with the doors and Alex isley. Don't know if it was cultural mix I grew up in or most of my friends being older than me but my musical has been wide forever.
You on your way to greater things
Great content bro🔥🔥🔥🔥
Man that 2nd juelz album 🔥🔥
And you sound like a young me when you talk about your music tastes... GOOD SHIT bro!!! Continue to be u bro!
You definitely did your research. Well done my guy 💪🏽
Juelz was on the come up and then it went all down hill that I can't feel my face was classic
Beautiful series. I think you should do one on wayne post Katrina until ymcm, drought series mixtapes and I cant feel my face era.
Don't worry I got a couple Wayne videos in the works!
Great body of work bro. 🙏🏽🔥
You gotta classic series young man, keep it lit, Maybe a Nas doc from Illmatic to now winning his 1st Grammy with Kings Disease, that would be fire
We're the same with musical taste, bro.
There are over 4,800 songs on my phone with everything from rock to hip-hop, as early as the '50s up to now. Very eclectic.

from Kenya and i love your documentaries 👏👏
Dj clue the professional went platinum as well.
Wow!
U probably won’t see this but u the real MVP dawg, cuz this ain’t era of rap I was born in 2005 so I appreciate u putting us up on game
Much respect 💯🥃👻
Dipset fan from New Jersey but now living in Georgia
You forgot to mention Kanye and his GOOD Music label and the artist he brought into the light like Travis Scott, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Teyana Taylor, John Legend, Pusha T
That picture wit Currency n Dame is hilarious 🤣 because you can see how he wanted to runaway from Dame 😂
On the song “Lost Ones”. Jay Z says why he parted with Dame.
Why ?
No he doesn't say why ?
Did Jay fuck Dame wife ?
Aliyah ?
Their demise was over women
I'm certain ~
Chef representing bk,ny.
The roc/dipset/g-unit made my childhood, even aftermath when game came out. The roc was truly a dynasty and regardless of the aftermath , no pun intended, they have left a legacy that will be remembered as long as music exist. "Cheers to the roc"🍻- kanye west
Can't wait.. Let's GO!!
What's the name of that Peedi Crakk Freestyle in the beginning bro? I also wanted to say I respect all of your content bro keep doing your thing real talk.
A lot of people say “my music taste is diverse” but it typically narrows down to 2 - 3 genres that branch off of each other. It tells you a lot and you have great taste for sure.
Awesome young brah! ✊🏾
Nice Wire analogy 🔥 🔥 I would add that if Jay would have tried to have that convo with Dame it would have played out much like String(Jay) and Avon(Dame) after string wanted to kill clay Davis. “ Not hard enough for this right here (independence) and not smart enough for them out there (industry)”
That's actually a nice way to look at it. If I do end up doing this wire/rap thing I'll take that into consideration!
The wire idea wud be a cool series
Raleigh NC.. you videos are dope asf!
Dope Documentary
Great doc bro!
Right on time 👊🏾💯
You killed this 🔥🔥🔥
Nice work !
Wanted to add one more thing…no one should be surprised at any moves Hov made. Not us, as audiences, and definitely not actual partners. Hov has ALWAYS made it clear that he was going to do whatever was financially in HIS best interest! Point blank periodttt! “I’m not a businessman, I’m a BUSINESS, MANNNN! 💯
Bro. So a video of your favorite music 🎶 that would be nice! Especially with the names you said you listen to!
your produced and edited a excellent documentary Clout.
My young brother you did well on this real talk.
BRAVO MY MAN!! This was a great series you did. Speaking of the wire, them niggas did Wallace so dirty😭😭😭⚰️.
Do like a chronicles of cash money records or something like that next that’ll be hard 🔥🔥
Good documentary 🔥
Reasonable Doubt Hard Knock Life Vol 1,Blueprint,Blueprint 3,Black Album,The Dynasty,American Ganster,444 all classic albums in my humble opinion
Nah 2 of those were great albums but not classics
@@theblaccmarket9506 what 2?
@@jasonarno9560 blueprint 3 and dynasty
Much love i Digg how you break down era by your age ...makes me think ...so dooe
From London and enjoyed your ROC documentary
I feel you on that.. my musical palette is very diverse
That first Juelz album!!!
The good old days yesterday....🔥💪🏼 seems like a lifetime ago...-🔥💪🏼
Everybody blames Jay for the fall of the ROC..but they NEVER mention how Dame was FN off the $ that was supposed to be split between Dame, Biggs & Jay. The biggest records on the ROC were Jay Z records and as a part owner he should have been CAKING UP!!..He wasnt because Dame was spending CRAZY before the 3 way split. Dame would get his 3rd..Jay & Biggs their 3rd BUT...Dame had already dipped into their bottom line BEFORE the 3 way split (private jets..clothing budget, jewelry budget, cribs, cars..etc) BEFORE Jay or Biggs seen the invoices. Jay got tired of it...Biggs didnt give a F cause he was a silent partner and was still getting his $ in the streets. Jay was like F doing business with a man that is robbing me..Alpo felt the same way and the results were much different. YOU DON'T PLAY WITH ANOTHER MANS $...PERIOD.
Good content, I'm all the way from Barbados.
checin in from Egypt...great work
Love this Doc off roc off Fella.. whats the song on intro with peddi Crack? Peddi flow straight fire
