This just hurt my soul...Jealousy is a ROTTEN emotion. Nip should still be here. I attended his funeral at Staples and it was beautifully done. This makes me shed tears all over again. Rest in Power, Nip 💙 #Hu$$leAndMotivate
I didn’t get there in time but I was outside Staples and even from outside, the energy was next level. There will never be another Nipsey Hussle in our lifetime and it’s so sad bc he should still be here. He lived in his truth and power and stayed when someone of his caliber wouldn’t. Even Boosie spoke the truth when he said most rappers die in their own city. 😢 RIH Neighborhood 💙🏁
You did a phenomenal job on this video essay of Nipsey Hussle. You beautifully chronicled his life as though you traced his footsteps in the sand. BRAVO 👏 👏
🙏🏽I never told a lot of people this💙🙏🏽I met Nipsey in downtown L.A. at the Department of Public Services near UCLA I was trying to get food stamps that day.he was in a chair with his back against the wall..I noticed him he looked at me I looked at him (meaning we had to feel a sign of acknowledgement for unseen respect with out speaking aka respect)he nodded his head I did the same. When he got up his height was like on stilts.(His hair was in braids hanging down to his neck..he had a black hoodie, with tan dickie shorts and a Egyptian key of life necklace ) and blue bandana in his back left pocket and royal blue chucks.he got up and went out the door I need to smoke a cigarette so I went out there too. I asked him for a lighter we both stood outside talking introducing ourselves he was real relaxed as we spoke back and forth. He was very humble he gave me a mixtape from his hoodie and said what’s your name so I told him. He said “they call me Nipsey lil cuz I’m from Slauson.Ave.” He said to hit him up when I’m over that way and we shook on it. He walked away and I thought something about dude is so strong but humble Respect travels anyway when real recognizes real💙💪🏽🙏🏽RIP ONE OF THE MOST FEARLESS MEN ALIVE NIPSEY HUSSLE
Nipsey is the inspiration to every natural born hustler that's been grinding to get to that next level..the day he died it hit me real hard ..it was like losing a real stand up homie ..i couldn't listen to his music for a few months..i remember when i started listening to his music and watching his videos again thats when the tears ...i was one of the first dudes in my city that had a marathon cap and hoodie ... Slauson boy two and Crenshaw should have been albums but VL is a classic album thats well put together it hurt me that he didn't win that grammy but i liked how positive he was about it and gave cardi her props on her grind...rip nipsey
I wouldnt say the inspiration unless your a youngin. But he definitely pushed the hustle get it all from nothing mentality. RIP to bro he was a smart mfkr he shouldn't have been killed the way it happened. He should've had security or the piece ready to go.

There are a lot of videos on Nipsey but none of them are as good as this retrospective. The way you break down his life story from his early years to current times is by far what makes this video stand out against all he other ones. It's so detailed and easy to understand, just all around a great retrospective! 💯👍👏

I am in agreement with a whole bunch of others--this has to be one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. What I noticed, too, is that you took an approach that other documentarians seemingly miss: You covered none of the negative in a cliché manner (those on-camera moments with the late Mr. Asghedom checking someone, etc.) and those necessary omissions made this documentary all the more powerful. Too, this documentary went hard and productively for the entire 2 hours and 6 minutes. Thank you for investing the time and labor into honoring this brotha and his Hu$tle. We all know no one is perfect, but in the Rap/Hip-hop game, he seemed savvy at navigating the terrain as well as building a brand and remaining true to his core vision. What they accomplished in that strip mall complex, The Marathon, makes his murder seemed much bigger than the suspect's actions. I am from an era where conspiratorial thinking was not associated with the likes the Trump and his followers, so when I say this, I don't mean it lightly. Look, we all know, if we are watching this documentary, that certain groups of people in this country do not want to see (young) black people, anywhere, buying and owning property. And, when young black entrepreneurs buy and own property, and by virtue of these actions/purchases, inspire those communities to do better, by the communities' own terms, these kinds of things begin to attract a certain kind of negative attention. We have seen it many times before: the attack on Black Wall Street, for example; or, the historical portraits of black municipalities across this country that became subject to racist violence by lynch mob and the likes, as a cover, in actuality, for disenfranchising those communities of socio-political economic resources as well as siphoning from these communities, modes of self-determination (Ida B. wells-Barnett has documented this extensively, wherein she referred to lynching as a color-line murder). We may never know, really, the motivation behind the suspect's actions, but I think maybe someone up high took the suspect's personal beef with Nipsey and, thereby, created an opportunity of killing the proverbial "two birds" with one stone. . . .or a few shots. Thank you, again, bruh for this documentary and for convincing me to check out more of his music and read up on his different entrepreneurial approaches/models.
Lot's of rappers make money and get rich, but then there are ones who do this as well as give back to the communities they grew up in which really speaks volumes about them as people.
Nipsey Hussle's the greatest for bringing everyone back and the Marathon's the best album to date, RIP Nipsey Hussle.I never knew what I'd do after high school and I went to juvenile hall at Los Padrinos, Sylmar and camp Challenger and did four months! I met every one from 52nd Street Hoover Crips, West Side Compton Crips, Rollin' 60s and 83 Crips and I met bloods from the Mob and Inglewood Bloods!
KB you did a phenomenal job on this bro, I watched all the way through without pausing, best doc on him yet, and this will definitely be hard to top. I'm definitely gonna share and watch it few more times 💯
Nothing but respect and love. Nipsey understood the importance of fatherhood, family, and building generational wealth. Above all, he genuinely wanted to see all his people elevate. 💙🏁
I’m here not because I’m a fan of Nipsey the rapper, but here as a person who like the kind of man that Nip was destined to become. Mayne I truly agree with all who say he was taken too soon. I wonder what all he would’ve accomplished had he lived through his tragedy.
I loved Nipsey’s music, but when he spoke.. the volume was maximized. He reminds me of my father in terms of wisdom and my brother (RIP) in resemblance. Honestly, he’s one of the reasons why I embraced entrepreneurship and going for those aspirations. When he passed, that hurt my core and not going to lie - cried for days like that was my flesh and blood. His music and philanthropic efforts will forever live on. TMC 💙🖤 🏁🏁🏁
This is the first documentary that I watched and became emotional over. 😢 Can’t believe Nip is gone over a jealous loser opp who’s still up everyday getting three hots and a cot.
@@createthebalance This was a COINTEL- PRO operation... You should google it... It wasn't just about some jealous loser... If you actually believe that, then you also have very little idea, of how the world actually works...
Nipsey hustle’s death will always be one of the hardest hitting deaths in the music industry for me. This man is the embodiment of inspiration. Even more now that I know his story and what happened. It is crazy how one idiot could take out one beacon of hope from the entire community over essentially nothing.
The words that you used to describe Nipsey were so touching and you couldn't have done a better job. Thanks for the light that you put on his name because Nipsey is not even around but the person that he was sure deserves to shines. He left here with a bang, letting everyone know whatever you want in this world if you apply yourself there is nothing impossible. It take hard work, perseverance, dedication and Nipsey did that and more. Nipsey's light will forever shine in my life!
The marathon continues and this was a great documentary. Definitely a Nipsey Hussle fan. I first heard him on his song hussle in the house it had the criss cross jump sample on it. First thing I thought was he a lightskin Snoop. The Crip definitely made great music. He also was very intelligent and very articulate with his words. He was self educated too he dropped out of high school yet still was smart. I miss Nipsey alot and may he rest in peace.
The dopest doc I've seen on Nipsey Hussle you put some work into this video brother and it shows keep up the good work I found your channel if you weeks ago and I love it
Hands down best documentary I've seen covering Nip life and accomplishments. You watch him grow from a young boy, rapper to entrepreneur and business man along with his brother Black Sam. He was on his way to really being someone especially kids who can learn from what he was doing in the community positive and giving them opportunities to advance themselves in life. .... Again wonderful job on the documentary. Respect and love to Nipsey family and friends. Rest in Heaven brotha.
It shouldn't, in a cosmic irony sort of way... Eric Holder was obviously a gun for hire... This has COINTEL-PRO written all over it... You should google it...
That man was set up by the higher ups.. he was bout to be bigger than Pac AND Malcolm X PUT TOGETHER and take us Gang bangers to a whole nother Level of Mental Elevation ‼️ Rest In Greatness KING ERMIAS‼️WE LOVE You ‼️‼️‼️
This the comment I was looking for!! So many ppl are in denial. After watching this doc and innovative he was yeah he was about to give them higher ups a run for there money.
The minute someone in the spotlight start a unity movement they get killed. This is no coincidence bc they can only Conquer the divided $ REST IN POWER BRO
Well done king. This was a great video. Looks like me and you got on board at the same exact time. I can tell you are a true nip fan. Thank you for the video 💙 🕊️
Nipsey Hussel and his Homies who put together the whole show, shops, malls and the entrepreneurs of today's times, these Hood boys are part of a legend status of course Nipsey Hussel was the driving force behind the Hood malls Marathon store and everything in it was so advanced in investing and basically teaching people how to do things that he had tought himself and his cuz's input into the life and times of HIP^HOP music ,but it was so sad to hear about the passin ,GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN RIP NIP , you did great man and will be sadly missed by the world of HIP^HOP and anything he touched on.

**Nice documentary! I asked Chat GPT to come up with a documentary structure to cover* the life and story of Nipsey and this is what it gave me!* Title: The Marathon Continues: The Life and Legacy of Nipsey Hussle Act 1: The Rise of a Revolutionary Spirit - Beat 1: Introduction to Crenshaw, Los Angeles, and the socio-economic struggles of the community. - Beat 2: Nipsey's early years and his journey from Eritrea to South Central LA. - Beat 3: The influence of his parents and the formation of his entrepreneurial mindset. - Beat 4: Nipsey's passion for music and his breakthrough mixtapes that garnered local attention. - Beat 5: The creation of his independent record label, All Money In, and his determination to redefine the music industry. Act 2: The Hustle and the Blueprint for Change - Beat 1: Nipsey's vision for uplifting his community and the birth of the Marathon Clothing store. - Beat 2: The intersection of music, business, and community empowerment in Nipsey's life. - Beat 3: The impact of his mixtape series, "Bullets Ain't Got No Name," and his growing influence. - Beat 4: Nipsey's dedication to financial literacy and his investments in tech and real estate. - Beat 5: The tragic loss of his close friend, Kevon Harris, and the motivation it provided to continue his mission. Act 3: A Legacy Cut Short - Beat 1: The release of his highly acclaimed album, "Victory Lap," and its impact on the music industry. - Beat 2: Nipsey's commitment to reducing gang violence and fostering unity through initiatives like the "Unity Walk." - Beat 3: The tragedy of Nipsey's untimely death and the shockwaves it sent through the world. - Beat 4: The outpouring of love and support from fans, fellow artists, and community leaders. - Beat 5: Nipsey's enduring legacy, from his philanthropic endeavors to his message of self-empowerment and resilience. Act 4: The Marathon Continues - Beat 1: The establishment of the Nipsey Hussle Foundation and its dedication to community development. - Beat 2: The ongoing impact of Nipsey's teachings and his influence on a new generation of artists and entrepreneurs. - Beat 3: The unveiling of the Nipsey Hussle Memorial Tower and the symbol of hope it represents. - Beat 4: The annual Nipsey Hussle Day and the celebration of his life and achievements. - Beat 5: The call to action for individuals to carry on Nipsey's legacy and continue the marathon of progress. Outro: - A reflection on Nipsey Hussle's enduring spirit, the impact he made during his lifetime, and the inspiration he continues to provide to this day. - A final call to honor his memory by striving for excellence, fostering unity, and empowering our communities. Note: The beats mentioned in each act represent significant events or themes that would be covered in the documentary. The actual content and duration of each beat may vary based on the production and storytelling choices. This is crazy right!? AI is about to change the world of filmmaking. Stay up on game!
What's happening is by design... The people that are behind all of this, will eventually pay for what they've done... But in the meantime, you should look up the history of COINTEL- PRO... What happened to Nipsey Hussle, was in all likelihood a Government operation... In addition, the people that currently control the United States Government are also evil incarnate filth/trash... You must come to understand this reality...
I’m forever grateful I got to see Nip live here in Dallas for his Crenshaw tour years ago. His music was a true light in my life, especially during that time. Him & my daughter have the same birthday too 🙏🏼 TMC RIP KING

You put a lot of hard work into this documentary and it shows. Definitely one of my favorites you’ve done up there with the Young Dolph Documentary.
He was a amazing person RIP
R.I.P Nipsey🙏😔
*The Marathon Continues*
Abkout to watch this while I cook dinner.😎
Nobody hurts more than Black Sam, Nothing Hurts More Than A Younger Bro Dying Before His Time😢
@@anthonycastillo7859 absolutely.. a big piece of him died too.. I’m crushed for him.. because they were more than brothers.
You can tell he was really genuine
This one made me cry a little. Especially when cowboy started talking about the community. This was a great doc about his life fr.
I’m here not because I’m a fan of Nipsey the rapper, but here as a person who like the kind of man that Nip was destined to become. Mayne I truly agree with all who say he was taken too soon. I wonder what all he would’ve accomplished had he lived through his tragedy.
Man You Sound Like Charleston White 😂
@@anthonycastillo7859yea, Yea, Naw… uncle Charlie expanded the kids of many; including myself
@@createthebalance
This was a COINTEL- PRO operation... You should google it... It wasn't just about some jealous loser... If you actually believe that, then you also have very little idea, of how the world actually works...
I am shook at how well you covered nipseys amazing legacy. This is beautiful.
Once you crack 100k you gon be on brotha, keep pushin this great content....
Nipsey hustle’s death will always be one of the hardest hitting deaths in the music industry for me. This man is the embodiment of inspiration. Even more now that I know his story and what happened. It is crazy how one idiot could take out one beacon of hope from the entire community over essentially nothing.
What a PHENOMENAL job you did on this. One of the best Hip Hop Docs ever. Hussle was my hero . Thanks so much, it's a pleasure to subscribe.

💌👏🏾✨🙏🏾✨🕊
Awesome documentary. Thanks for capturing a lot of what we didn't know about Nipsey Hussle. Salute! #TMC
And still to this day, when you Google the name Eric Holder, a government official comes up. That always seemed funny to me...

This Documentary was thoughtfully & truthfully Done!!
Great Job👏🏼
I never knew that Cowboy Testified to this extent 😳
I'm still sick about Nip losing his life over some senseless bullshit. This was a dope documentary.
Wasn’t no bullshit his hood jacked the cartel out of 30 to 60 bricks of dope RUclips that
@@WayneSmith-uw9uu that was years ago 2012, that wasn’t the reason he was killed

I am pissed
Such a great and sad story he loved his hood and wanted to help it to shine one man stopped the dream 😢
This just Made me cry all over again. Its sooo not fair how his live was snuffed out. To see his children grow up to grow with Lauren that much more. His mindset was beautiful. A friend of mine put me on to his music in 2018. And Im so glad that he did. LLNH.💙💙💙🏁🏁🏁

This is crazy right!? AI is about to change the world of filmmaking. Stay up on game!
AI is crazy and scary!
Generation after generation lost. When does it stop? Talented people, teenagers, its never-ending and heart-breaking.
