Dr. Dre gave us Eminem, 50, Snoop, NWA, and a lot of artists and he made them the biggest artists in the world. He the greatest producer of all time and he made a huge impact on hip hop with the Chronic album, in which is the one of the greatest albums ever. He’s done a lot for the culture and the world is full of great music that all of us grew up on.

THIS. THIS was the era...the time......I was in my late teens (born 1977)....Wish we could ALL go back!! Hip Hop ain't the same in 2024. Legends, Trailblazers, Pioneers from 1980-2010. Period. That Is WHEN HIP HOP/RAP was born. The 80's were the birth. It is such a privilege....to know this when it actually began!!! I remember pulling over on the side of the highway after the second & last time Tupac was shot. I cried my face off like I knew him. It had such an impact on me. I imagine if he were at the 2022 Superbowl halftime, or even here now...what would be HIS message. Wow!! I am and always will be a fan of Em, Dre, Snoop, NWA, and all artists relevant 😊 Also....just putting his out there...When the Chronic was first released.....WE HAD TO ACTUALLY PURCHASE THE CD. Why does absolutely no story about Dr Dre ever talk more about being a DJ???????
Waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy before N.W.A. as a DJ Dre was one of the very first mixers on AM stereo 1580 KDAY in Santa Monica.
He made the nation's very first midday traffic mix. It became so popular Greg Mack (KDay program director) decided to air Dr Dre's mixes on the weekends along with one other DJ, Joe Cooley.
Dre became so popular off his KDAY mixes, he began to make more money from his mixtapes being sold at the Rodium Swap meet.
From that money, along with gig money performing with the World Class Wreckin Cru, Dre baught his first personal drum machine, sampler & reel to reel recorder.
Dre, Cube & Ren were friends before Eazy came into the picture.
Dre was an amazingly talented DJ.
Spinning at world on wheels, swap meets and already making beats for the world class Wreckin Cru.
The sound was definitely more electro.
To Me this is a huge part of Dres story that never gets told properly!

I just watched surving compton. Now im always happy when one of us makes it. But what he did to Michelle Le is absolutely horrible. And he kept the cycle of abuse from his family. So did her grandma. Im so glad she survived but this man needs to take the time and get help for the rage under the surface. It's never ok to abuse someone weaker than you. But it's definitely not ok to stay with your abuser. If you cant get out the front door because it's blocked then you bide your time cause everyone sleeps and houses have pots, water and stove. Plow through that obstacle and never look back. Material things can be replaced but lives can not. God bless both of them for surviving Compton.

Awesome actor and Dr Dre is to hip-hop like what Michael Jackson is to Pop music. Sound wise, Dr Dre changed how music should sound and it's uniqueness speaks for itself.

"Hate It Or Love It" was NOT produced by Dr. Dre (Andre Young). 🛑
It was produced by "Cool & Dre" (Marcello Antonio Valenzano & Andre Christopher Lyon) ✅
