On top of it, he wasn't able to get the chain back after staying in Chicago for a few days. He didn't go to the right spots. Should of went to nightclubs and stripclubs to start asking about the chain. Street guys ain't hanging around radio stations. For a street guy, he should know this.

A chain is a chain. Fif was the only one who knew that it was a dummy chain, to everybody else it was the REAL chain. So to the general public, G-unit just got punked in Chicago and lost their chain. They had to get that chain back not because of it's financial value, but because it was a bad look. they HAD to get that cheap shit back. Even if it was the real chain, the reason to get it back had nothing to do with value of the chain. and 50 is capping about it being worth 300k. Even at 100k he was being ripped off. This is one of the craziest chain snatching stories in hip hop along with the Trevon Lane story who had his Death Row medallion tried to get snatched by Orlando Anderson, would be cool if you could cover that story in a future video soon!
I would also like to hear the full story on Ja Rule getting his chain snatched. He (Ja) talked about it on Vlad, but I wouldn't mind seeing a documentary.
First time hearing the full story ....all I heard was what yayo said about the twins getting the chain back. Great documentary on the g unit spinner incident.
Flores twins were not Sinaloa members. They were simply wholesale buyers, as they also bought from Beltran leyva, who were at war with Sinaloa. The twins turned on chapo soon as a tug of war started for them only buying from one side of the above named family based organizations. Rather than risk it in a Sinaloa blood feud between guzmans and beltrans, they cut their deal.
In the court transcripts one of the brothers said “For the longest yk we had a sweet spot in the cartel where all we had to do is make money” also mentioned his personal meetings with el chapo and el mayo so yeah
What they all forgot to mention was Buck going to Detroit to see the Train. Thr Train made him wait oitside until he finished his burger then got onto some Westside catz in Chicago. Everyone knows them Westside catz are real scratchy and they go out that night and startrd patrolling for the chain. Cut a long story short. They spotted something spinning in the dark and light up a spliff. Its at this point that no one can actually really remember what happened.
Great vid bro, I almost forgot about that chain getting yoink'd. 50 cent really did all he could for the entirety of G-Unit and his artist yo. Yo DM , you most definitely gotta do a pt.2 homie.
This was the most accurate journalism on this subject ever that wasn’t from a leech RUclipsr who used random pictures or wrong names, I’m subscribing now 👌🏻
The twins were not dealing with El Chapo then. They were not part of his "crew" either when they started dealing with him. They were business partners.
50 Cents is probably the smartest "Gansta Rapper" ever. Made that deal with Vitamin Water before Coke bought it. Pretended to be broke so he can file for bankruptcy and cut out all those thirsty alimony gold diggers 😂
You should do an evolution of the mixtape game and how it went from rapping on others beats to today where it’s basically a low key album original music
@threesixesinarow8265 there is a little more to it. For one, mixtapes were sold on street and those dealers made a good living doing so. While short lived, it was easy. I bought so many while on the train. If you ordered online, you had to pay 1-3 bucks as a fee. Either way, someone made money off of other people's copyrighted material. You could put your entourage to work instead of paying for them. Second, I can't think of a better marketing plan for an upcoming rapper. Instead of relying on BS A&Rs and the marketing dept of record labels, you could reach the suburbs and rural America without spending needlessly. Mixtapes definitely put the nail into the coffin for record companies. Do you remember 1993? Dres the chronic cost 22 bucks at Sam goody. That's 33 bucks today. Dre didn't get 22 bucks per album. He got maybe 5 bucks per sale. Made MTV irrelevant for music.
I love shit like this. thanks for the doc. I just got to Chicago 2002 and went to 50's show at the house of blues shortly after. g unit was the shit back then
Right lol, that was the first thing I was thinking. I dont mind the beef, they made good music and it actually helped game being the bad guy in his career. I feel like it was a lot of stupid shit that came out of it
To anyone saying he didnt have the dummy chain or else so many stories of people getting it back wouldn't make sense, i agree but have a counter arguement. Its not about whther the chain was real or not. The image this set and the people 50 was affiliated with couldnt be surrounded by this type of disrespect. Similar to the way the romans looked at the golden eagle (Aquila) rappers looked at their chains similarly and any criminal organization possibly involved in this on 50's side eould completely understand his view point as LEGIT gangster rapper and what this TRULY means... I have doubt there were as many "sit downs" as are spoken about. I think the real shit was talked about off camera because this wasnt about money this was about g-unit as a whole losing A LOT of credibility and they would have spent every dime they had to keep that credibility because they know they can always make more with the credibility and mostly good labels on their side. Loved this time in hip hop/rap. Now people get shot for nothing over a 500 view youtube rap video
Wanna know something crazy bruh, we're about the same age with the same name and I wanted them shits too but a 11 year old me didn't have motion like that loool. Go find them you won't regret it.
So from games own his homeboy had the chain at one point. If game is really down with G unit he should’ve just told his homeboy to give Buck the chain back. Game telling him to charge buck 100,000???? You know if the shoe was on the other foot and game had his chain snatch and 50 or buck or bank had it they would’ve just given it back. Can you imagine the hissy fit game throws if he gets his chains stolen, because his homeboy was out being a clown with it, and then someone else in G unit had the chain and still charged him 100 grand? Game is loyal to all the wrong people and burns the bridges to the people that would actually help him. Game at one time had Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Eminem and G unit all in his corner and would’ve done anything for him. He threw them away to hang out with Jimmy Hinchman, the guy who had Tupac shot the first time, and Wack 100, the clown that’s going around, telling people that Nipsey is on the DL after he passed away. No wonder Games life is shit.
Yeah he turned into a punk real quick and thought he was 2pac and could make this into a 2pac biggie beef where he would end up as the winner but he ended up being the biggest loser and now people have no respect for him and clown him all the time. Game has been so disloyal its unbelievable
📌To know that men and women spent 400 years in shackles to be eventually freed; and today their offsprings are glorifying having chains put around their necks is absolutely insane. Absolutely incredible!

It's become folklore a legend bigger than life kinda of story(ies)
Your 50 cent content is on point my guy, I feel like your GRODT documentary should have got way more attention, but the thumbnail the title and the algorithms gotta hit right..
I wanna see you win, you deserve it 👊🏼
No worries. The internet is forever. People will eventually get around to seeing it
50 broke ass snitch
50 cents my fav rapper❤❤❤❤❤
Everybody was blaming and clowning Buck whole time it was his homie fault 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
But it was because of buck that his homie did the mistakes but kept a idiot around him so he is just as guilty

And your homies are your responsibility don’t be bringin no dumb mfkr to my spot talkin bout “my fault he kinda goofy” if you know that why you bring him here?… just like the whole reason fif was mad was cause they made him look like he didn’t have his crew locked down. How many of his people you heard about dying? Especially these days that’s a fkn flex fr fr

His collaboration with the Mexican cartel explains his rise to prominence.
50 wearing that sean john beater guess diddy did take him shopping 😂
Everyone wore ts back then I still rock some Sean carter
I've been ignoring this video from the moment it dropped 4 days ago thinking "ion gaf about no G-Unit chain" but it came on my autoplay and I wound up watching (and enjoying) every minute of the video 💯👌🏾 SALUTE #GreatVideo
I was curious because it had cartel in it
Dude went from rocking a spinning Diamond chain to an aluminum foil piece 😂
Just like the aluminum foil piece you got too broke boy?

50 behaved like a father:
*”son, I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed”*
"He needs to be an artist, not a goon, running around doing random things." Lessons learned the hard way.
Trevon Lane got robbed by Baby lane?
This story is bullshit. El chapos cartel did not get his chain back. Listen to the full yayo interview
Isn't Orlando the dude who voiced Franklin in GTA5

Thanks for the video!!! The more I learn about 50, the more I like & respect him.
12.5k for the chain, even jewellery was affordable them times.
The original one cost 300k
Because it was trash 😂
Not trash😂😂😂❤😊
Factz back then you could make a real platinum piece for 15k
Moissanite diamonds
First time hearing the full story ....all I heard was what yayo said about the twins getting the chain back. Great documentary on the g unit spinner incident.
The cartels don’t play at all. Seen it with my own eyes. Heads in bags in Mexico. Mfs going straight to hellllll when they die. Shit is wild as fuck
“ they wouldn’t let us in the club because of the way we dressed”
Immediately steals a chain off guy after seeing him
He stole the chain because they profiled him. Obviously
Are you dumb or sum they literally moved drugs for tha Sinaloa cartel
🐸 twins
They were latin kings
They ended up dead also right? Or locked up? Can’t remember
Fiddy could have easily been NY's Suge Knight, but he exercised way more restraint and professionalism that Suge ever could.
So this guy puts a $12,000 piece of jewelry at risk to save money on a night club cover charge? 😂 genius
Right I was thinking that the whole time. That was just his excuse

Facts
Yea we know that
What they all forgot to mention was Buck going to Detroit to see the Train.
Sad men. They could have all lost their life over a cheap chain.
I wouldn't say cheap... 💀 but yea
Cheap, just like their lives.
It’s all principle
@@richardg5.052really cartels have way more money, to them it's cheap. Good thing they got it back and they're alive.

Kuddos to el chappos crew who used there power to make the chain come up and returned . 💪💪💪💪💪
Why make a video. You just told the story in 2.3 seconds!!
Honestly, that's a good doc idea. Other documentaries mention mix tapes in passing. No one has done anything in depth.
It should be a mini series in and of itself. Mixtape game could not accurately be painted in a 1 or 2 hr documentary. Thats facts.
@@threesixesinarow8265😄😂😄😂😂😂😂😄😂😂😄
some yall are saying that $12,500 is a little bit but keep in mind that this was back in 2004. it was alot for the time. in todays money is $20,300

It wasn't about the money but about the respect
I love shit like this. thanks for the doc. I just got to Chicago 2002 and went to 50's show at the house of blues shortly after. g unit was the shit back then
I'm really enjoying these surprise Docs that you've been putting out.
What a story. Never seen your site. Great content bro💪💪💪
This was a crazy story and cleared up alot of shit when that beef happen between game and g-unit back in 05
Right lol, that was the first thing I was thinking.
Great Job🥇
O damn, that was very interesting. I never knew the whole story. Thanks for taking your time and sharing this with us, very well done 👍👍

I remember seeing knock off ones in 99 cents stores lol ofc I can't get the real one.
Fo real fo real.Game is a ungrateful dude and a snake.Fabricated artist
Facts, couldn't have said it any better

Yeah he turned into a punk real quick and thought he was 2pac and could make this into a 2pac biggie beef where he would end up as the winner but he ended up being the biggest loser and now people have no respect for him and clown him all the time. Game has been so disloyal its unbelievable
game always been a hater of fif.

📌To know that men and women spent 400 years in shackles to be eventually freed; and today their offsprings are glorifying having chains put around their necks is absolutely insane. Absolutely incredible!
Do you not understand the difference?
@@apriljk6557 There is no difference, but the spirituality of a mindset. One way to control a slave in the 21st century is to gift them with the illusion that they're free. The war is not against flesh but the spirit.
@@originalkingalpha5116 you need to relax Bro. It is not that serious. Rappers have the freedom to buy platinum chains. Slaves were not rocking platinum chains for money. If you cannot tell the difference then I feel sorry for you. Not one Black man in America today is a slave.
