    Great advices and especially the one about stressing. It needs a lot of practice and honestly, you can never completely shut your worrying self, but at least you can quickly recognize it and tell yourself that you can't solve a problem by stressing over it. That's what helps me the most. It is kind of harder if you know the guy for years or he is even your ex (or both in my case 🙈), but I've found out even in that case it is very, very important to keep your value, keep your options open, don't stress about it, focus on your other goals... And let yourself shine 😊

    this was wonderfully made & so articulate. not to put you on a pedestal 😂... but i really appreciate you Sabrina. thank you for your transparency & clarity. ❤ it's refreshing to have that in a time where everyone seems to be offended by everything that's said/shared/posted. it's ridiculous. including the backlash you get for telling it like it is. keep doing it. and keep letting/nudging people to feel uncomfortable. let them get mad. i know it's hard to hear that you are insecure or immature, entitled, etc., but anybody is best to be aware of those traits in order to go forward with making positive changes that will ultimately serve them better in achieving what they want.... why they come to your channel in the first place. it's like do you want the guy, or no? you've got to take this intel in.

What to do to keep the friendship but lose the benefits after it's ran it's course from both the guy a girls psychological perspective. Maybe you could do a video or respond with your thoughts. IT DOESN’T. That’s the thing, I promise you, it doesn’t. With the right man, you can do alllll of those things wrong and he’ll STILL want you! He’ll still go to the end of the world to be with you and only you. While with the wrong men, you can do ALL of these things right and they’ll still not choose you! I’ve experienced both, believe me.

    I love you Sabrina and your channel and do watch all your videos, but after watching so many of yourself and others, its getting exhausting trying to figure out how to date now after ~12 years. Its like a logic puzzle trying to figure out and examine everything to do, or not do every time I open my mouth or open a text with a man. I've had about 3 men now over the last ~6 months that I guess I scared off with one of these items, but I have to say It's very frustrating and turning me off completely from dating even though I want someone to share the rest of my life with. I can understand some tips like not being too needy or giving him a hard time about something, etc. but all these other "rules" of dating and how to actually talk, or not talk to someone that you are interested in is soul-draining, exhausting, ridiculously expecting behaviors that are really hard to deal with.

      If you are exhausted, take a break. I did it too and feel so much better. Also it will be easier for you to make all those advices work because a break will teach you to value yourself more. Once it will be natural for you, you won't feel exhausted from strategizing all the time 😉

      Honestly be yourself, like these tips enhance, but don’t overthink, just be your genuine self. If you want to initiate one convo because you’re a bold person, do it! For me the main one is: don’t be clingy, but show some interest and the rest is up to you!

    It really works if you just wait till He is the one to reach out. Like what I did I stop sending him message, and I make him addicted to me. He is the one to initiate a call or message. Try to do what he is doing to you, Soon he realised that something is missing. I was tired chasing him. He never call or tx me back at all before. But now I’m happy, He know his responsibility I make him as a Human alarm clock. So if he won’t wake me up I’ll be late to go to work. He listen to me atleast when I ask him to do things.

He has slowly gone away from me, but still keeps in contact texting Goodmorning to me but not all the time. He’s still nice says very uplifting things but it never got off the ground. I made all the mistakes you have mentioned. Do I stop contact with him?

  • @toria37

    If I’m only messaging first once a week or every 2 weeks it’s not chasing right? It’s so hard to not stress over a new guy because I worry about messing it up so I overthink everything I do or say.

    • @Jooney91
      @Jooney91 3 года назад +5

      It also depends on what you are saying, not just how often. And to be honest, we people are different, some are used to texting often with a lot of people so you are just one of many, but others maybe are in touch only with the closest friends and family and you might be texting him more often than his mom, which might look clingy.

    • @fleetingfootnotes9133
      @fleetingfootnotes9133 3 года назад +2

      Don't stress about chasing. Think of it as putting in effort to bring about the relationship. That's something two people should grow towards. If you were doing all the chasing, you'd be putting in all the effort. And then it would be no wonder it didn't work out.
      Guys generally don't like messaging. That's for stuff like "caught in a traffic jam, will be five minutes late". Get talking, make a call. Spend time together. And don't spend time together for the sole objective of getting together. See it as a chance to figure out if you like the guy in real life, in real time.

    i have this Q: Wht if the man asks the woman why would she still have her profile active on the social dating app... ie. if she is serious abt their r'ship, she should delete the app.
    But, there isn't any exclusivity being laid on the table between both of them.

    What if the sharing is a big part of who you are? Like you have visual impairment, type 1 diabetes and your whole side of one of side of your family has all passed away. These are big things that I wouldn't tell someone I've just met, but it could affect how people would see you if they didn't know that you have had these huge traumas in your life. I talked about it all the time on social media because it helps me get through the struggles of what I go through. And I'm open to telling people about it in a simple way. Because it is a big part of who I am. But is that not such a good thing?
