Thanks for visiting. Just a gopro 8. To bad it was windy, lots of wave and murky. I would love to be there in a clear se day. There were small sharks that day, but couldn't find any.
The section of the beach they have set aside to snorkel is free with lifeguards. It is easy to go to and is infront of the swimming beach, plus it is roped off. We had brought our own mask and snorkel at COSTCO and have used then on several cruises. We don't pay for an excursion, but just find a place to jump in the water and enjoy the fish (if all possible) So, It was free for us at that point. RCCL no longer provide mask for free like they had done in the past. For kids, all they really need is swimming googles to enjoy seeing the fish around the rocks. Make sure you bring you own defogger for lenses.

Depth was about 10 feet and at the ship maybe 7 feet. Around the rocks 6-8 feet. There is one ship dock but they can have multiple ship. You can check to see how many ships will be at the port the day you go. They are opening an adult beach soon, so there is a lot of space. Did not feel crowded. Have a great day

correct free with your equipment, swimming is free with life guards what is nice. Swimming googles will work around the rocks and fine for kids. We used Costco type of equipment we pack on all of our cruises.

Off the beach which this video is about, we brought our own equipment and rented nothing. Chill Beach is part of Perfect Day that is free to use. The rented equipment is meant to be used in the Chill Beach area so the rented equipment you gain nothing more then I had with my personal gear. Hope this helps out.

@@cameronsimonton2515 RCCL has a reef snorkel trip out to Three Sisters rock by boat from CocoCay, its around $120 (called: Reef Snorkeling). Masks, fin, snorkel, and life vest are included plus a cup of rum punch. It is a two hour trip and is not the same area as Chill Beach. Chill beach is used to Snorkel at your leisure (purchased prior as an excursion called: CocoCay All Day Snorkeling at your Leisure). That is just renting the snorkel gear from the Snorkel Shack. Hope this helps
