    I just love your videos! I'm a newbie at this and currently in Japan so it's really hard to get help. I have a Cricut Explorer and looking to get a good printer to start making these...Can you recommend a good printer? Also do you always print on white cardstock because I have tons of colored cardstock

    Cute. I like the back side better because you can't see where you cut him up at like you can on the front side. Tfs.

    I was thinking you could simply flip the card stock over, then cut the same pieces twice - am I wrong? Either cut them on the wrong side or use double sided card stock. Also, what if you hung him from the ceiling from fishing one? We used to do that at the daycare center with things -- oh how I would have had fun with this machine back then 8-)

    • @jacquineal5704
      @jacquineal5704 5 лет назад +3

      That, or if you want to mirror, couldnt you just mirror the pieces you've already sliced instead of starting over and having to slice again?

      Thanks for asking. For speed purpose only I used two cricuts. Lol. The Cricut Explore Air and the Cricut Explore One. I use my 12x24 mat with one machine and my 12x12 mat for the other. I cut Simultaneously. Cheers, Carolyn

    Hello THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS very well put together , I have one question was your poster board thick or thin and what setting did you cu he poster board on with he cricut.

    • @CraftingwithWine
      @CraftingwithWine  7 лет назад +1

      Thanks for asking. I used thick poster board and cut it on the poster board setting. However, I cut it twice. I did not remove for the second cut.

    • @dionneflour
      @dionneflour 6 лет назад

      Can I cut thigh poster board with the cricut air2? Also can we only do this with images that are on a cartridge & on design space? It doesn't seem to be able to detach the top pieces off otherwise and also having to print then cut it only lets you cut like 9x5 I'm so overwhelmed

    im a newbie. mickey turned out great but im still confused as to how you got him so big because the mickey on design space and the mickey you showed us at the end are clearly two different sizes obvisously. im just missing the cutting out part

    • @jtbburch4674
      @jtbburch4674 6 лет назад

      tabithia1 she set the size to however large she wanted it, then used the zoom option to zoom out so you can see the whole image. Zoom is in the bottom right corner, if I remember correctly. If you've used Microsoft word and changed how much of the document you see (100%, 75%, etc), it's like that. Hope this helps, or you found a better explanation. :)

    • @jtbburch4674
      @jtbburch4674 6 лет назад

      Also, you can make it as big as you want. You just have to slice it into pieces that are half an inch smaller than your mat size.

    What kind of file is this that you uploaded? Also are you uploading it as a cut and print or a cut file. Because when I upload files as a print and cut, I loose the colors.

    • @CraftingwithWine
      @CraftingwithWine  7 лет назад

      Kakin with K-lynn's Kakes This is a SVG file. I am not printing anything only cutting. I own this cartridge so the image is available in design space. I believe the cost is $1.49. When you buy the image it is yours forever. Hope this helps.
