@MyNBA2k23-99 yes they are , I used to live near the CISCO company that does the line on TV (other things as well) and they put it on the yard line where the ball is spotted, not only that but sometimes it messes up and it's blatantly obvious, this is not one of those times..

@@newaccountdoesnotequaltrol6409that’s not what he’s saying. He’s saying that Mike is wrong - Von miller was not offside because the blue line was not the line of scrimmage. So he was onside and didn’t graze the neutral zone until after the ball is snapped. Also that Waddle is on the line if you look at the ball. Toney was way offsides. I agree the officiating has been horrible all season but they were right in Toney’s case and right for not calling anything against Miller and Waddle.

Refs need to be fined for missing calls or making bad calls and have post game interviews on why they made those correct or incorrect calls
The KC offsides call was correct.
Then the KC refs would get fired for all of the calls that go to the Chiefs that shouldn't have been calls or should have been calls. But, we are all human and we all make mistakes, but with these refs helping the Chiefs win all of the time off of the refs, so I don't think that would be a good idea and I would want to hear the explanations. Ref be like in their head " because we love the Chiefs and think they should win all of the time" what the refs would say: "Uhm..... Because that is the call"

Especially since it's a great pland is invalidated but a non great play gets no call. People are naturally outraged. I have been saying this, this whole season. The same illegal physical contact is not consistently called as defensive interference or holding. There has to be one standard.
Even if they are not rigging games the very, very close relationship between the NFL and the gambling industry practically compels suspiciion about rigging games.

Exactly. You hit the nail on the head. Pat McAfee had even said it at the beginning of the season. Until the NFL hires full time refs, there will always be the gambling factor. Because since the aren't technically working for the NFL they are allowed to bet on games. So in other words we are seeing the same issue that they had in the NBA. Where, with betting available to refs they can influence the outcome of games.

How do people not realize there is more than 1 officiating crew, and the crew from the dolphins game are going to call fouls differently than the chiefs one. Especially after the backlash on a correct call.

Lamb was lined up offsides against Miami. The ref told him to move back so he moved back but since another player was in motion the ref threw a flag because 2 players were in motion at the same time.

Miller was not in the neutral zone. The neutral zone is the spot of the ball NOT the line of scrimmage. It's hard to measure offsides when you line the ball up behind the line of scrimmage. I respect you, but please understand the difference between the line of scrimmage and the neutral zone.

You are absolutely right, now there are so many calls that the games are becoming unwatchable. I would also ask the players to be smart enough to know the rules and the coaches teach the players the rules that apply to their position. Better coaching and players understanding the game.😮😮😮
