As a Niners fan, I totally agree! His career TD amount is only 3 more than CMC had last year, hence why the dude got a major extension. I love BA, but come on, now! Jefferson, St.Brown,AJ and Cee Dee have the numbers to justify their new and proposed deals. Again, keep the noise out of it, from those in your ears about you being underpaid. Don't get traded to a perennial bottom place team, just to get paid. Your current team is a CONTENDER, and the players around you need to get paid to stay at that high level of contention. Keep competing and your contract numbers will definitely go up. $26 million per year will keep you eating well in this current climate of the NFL.

Two years ago teams #1-DB would travel w/ DeeBo; so Aiyuk has more to prove before he gets real #1 type money. But why would the 49ers pay him that when not only does the offense run through CMC but they have the best play-caller in the NFL. Keenan Allen, D. Hopkins & Amari Cooper will all be free-agents after this season, anyone of them is cheaper than Aiyuk. We know the 49ers aren't afraid to make a big trade in season as well; DeVante Adams for a 2nd &future 1st-rd pick. Two &a half seasons of Adams for about $72million or a 4-year deal for Aiyuk at about $120million?

I always wished he got Cousins when he got to SF, & when they traded up for Lance, i think they shouldve traded for Cousins instead. 49ers wouldve won a Super Bowl. But im also a McCaffrey fan, so having them together is good.
I think 49ers need to cut ties with Aiyuk, trade him to the Commanders, thats fine, for WR Terry McLaurin & TE Ben Sinnott.
Terry will fit right in Brandons spot & this is Kittles 8th season, Sinnott will be a very good TE, they can share more reps so keeps Kittle fresh.
I'm a Niners fan and they always screw around paying guys. They wait until July or August and cost themselves a ton of money. Look at the Deebo/Kittle/Nick Bosa situations. Parauge (they guy that negotiates the contracts) sounds like an asshole. He's been good at the salary cap but has cost the Niners many millions of dollars playing hard ball. The Eagles and Chiefs do it right and the Niners and Cowboys suck at tying up the core. This might be the last chance for the current roster. I think they re-sign Brandon but next off season Deebo, Kittle and possibly Fred Warner are gone.

My guess is that Aiyuk wants to be the WR1 on a team (not happening in SF with Deebo Samuel being the clear cut #1 there, Samuel even changed his jersey number to reflect that), though I cannot tell where that "hot garbage" attitude came from to pull stunts like these. I mean, is it too embarrassing to head to your GM and politely request a trade and state your reasons, and doing it in private? Aiyuk is more of a tier 3 WR maybe top 15-20 yet views himself as tier 1 top 1-3, which he's not. He'll get paid a ridiculous amount either way.

If you look at the previous years and other big contracts they weren't done until june or july in Bosa's case, but they still got done. So i have no doubt this is going to end up the same and he gets his extension.

Aiyuk is a great receiver and run blocker, but like the Chiefs decision not to pay Tyree Hill the Niners should stick to a reasonable deal, franchis tag or trade him if the get fair return.
