The NFL Has a Referee Problem… (Again)

- The narrative that the NFL is rigged is continuing to grow week by week due to the poor display of officiating by the referees. In this video, I break down the worst calls/no-calls from weeks 1-7 this season and pose the question, what can the league to do solve this issue?

The NFL will only do something when it costs them money
Of course it's a business, until they lose significant revenue there will be no change
No they will just get more replacement refs

The betting industry is in control. It would be interesting to see the bad calls overlayed on scores and spreads.
I suspect so also.
It's the live betting now.
It's not just football. I'm ALWAYS amazed of what I call the "NBA defense''. One team can have a 50 point lead at halftime and just completely lose all assemblence of the game and end up losing by 6. Just enough to cover the spread at times and make Vegas happy.
@@ronallen6578yup all the free tjrows for that to happen too
Great point!
That holding call 5 seconds after the interception is pure rigging.
The ref even double-cocked to make sure the Jets defender had the ball before he threw the flag.
It was clearly a hold though. The ref had already pulled the flag out before the interception and was preparing to throw it. The only reason people talked about that call so much is because of the colossal tantrum that Saleh threw over it. If it's rigged then why were they absolutely hosing the Chiefs up until that point? Don't attribute to malice what you can just as easily attribute to incompetence. The refs just suck across the board and every team suffers from it sometimes and gains from it other times.
The pipeline goes: my team loses a close game ~ the refs make one or more bad calls ~ I get angry ~ i blame refs ~ i begin to believe the refs do it on purpose ~ I think the players are in on it ~ I now believe the whole league is rigged ~ magnets in the goal posts!
Give me a break. The league isnt rigged. Get over it and get over yourselves.
@@L_TrainLol trust me no Chiefs fan is going through your stupid pipeline. They all know Mahomes gets all the calls
I thought the same thing
Ever since gambling became popular, more and more of this game-fixing has occurred. I am a die-hard Eagles fan and even I objected to some of the calls against Miami in their game. I believe it will get worse.
You mean online gambling? Gambling has been around for 1,000’s of years, but as more states allow online gambling, yes, it has gotten worse.
@@mulderscully2054 Sports betting has become legal in many states and this is a huge portion of money in the sport.
@@ChessVisionAIBot9000-xg6ru the nfl is a joke now the refs are on the chiefs side now ever since brady retired everybody is going to to stay mad if the refs keep helping the chiefs win its pathetic and stupid nfl is stupid and ridiculous now
Whenever there is gambling involved, corruption soon follows. Why is everyone acting so surprised?
Honestly bro, im thinking the same thing. The NFL literally has sponsorships with betting companies, how is that not the biggest red flag it makes zero sense
2 suggestions:
1) Hold your officials accountable. If they never get punished for doing a shit job then they'll continue it since they know that there are no consequences
2) Make your officials FULL TIME WORKERS. I still cannot understand how we've reached 2023 and NFL referee is still merely a part time position. If you make it a full time job and require these officials to become masters of their craft and not have to fous on two jobs, then the bad calls should decrease
BONUS: Has anyone noticed that these kinds of game deciding calls have had a huge increase since the spread of legalized spors betting? Take a look in the mirror NFL, if you suspend players like Calvin Ridley and Jameson Williams for gambling, (not even on their own teams, just gambling in general) you need to do some serious investigations on your officials.
You hit the nail right in the coffin 🔨⚰️. I’ve been saying that last part for years and it’s obvious‼️
These referees have been in the league for YEARS, They know the difference between a bad call and a good call; the fact that these Calls are so belatedly bad is because they’re obviously betting.
I've never understood that....... The same league where the minimum for a player is $705,000.00 a year can't pay their referees to be full-time employees
During season, most refs are full time. After season, they go back to their day jobs.
Refs are held accountable. One or two missed calls does not mean a ref is a bad one. They still make hundreds of CORRECT calls, which most people fail to understand. Best refs get to playoffs, like best teams. Worse refs do not. And these are the best refs available, so benching them makes the overall refereeing....? You guessed it. WORSE!
They are paid to do a shit job.Ratings are king.
Or step 3 find them in the parking lot after the game for further "discussion"
When sports betting became mainstream what did yall expect. If we want pure sports competition sports betting has to go, if not this is just going to be the next WWE with pads.
At this point you have to watch Middle School football if you want to see stuff that isn't rigged.
@@tmacman0418 Sad but mostly true.
@@tmacman0418true, high school isn’t choreographed like the NFL, but refs can be paid off for sure
@@playdiscgolf1546 Yeah, that's why I said middle school football, but even that could have paid off refs too.
Sports betting companies Sponsoring the leagues is the issue. They get money when favored outcome occurs
It’s rigged because of sports betting (the nfl is working with Vegas)
This is the correct answer.
You sir are right on! Anywhere there is money involved, there is corruption....
Yessir, been saying this for years. To think there will be no corruption when billions of dollars are on the line every week is crazy.
TV ratings. The whole Taylor Swift thing opened my eyes to that. Massive ratings boost for the NFL if the Chiefs go to the Super Bowl, with Swift in the picture. You really think the NFL would allow the Chiefs to lose and let Swift and all of her fans to walk away? Absolutely not.
I’d like to see a televised post-game interview of sports writers with the referees to explain their decisions or lack of decisions/calls. They, too, need to be held accountable. Maybe there should be more ref’s on the field to catch missed calls or to better decide by committee what penalty to call or not call.
A This is an excellent idea!
What do you expect them to say? "yeah, well the league told me to blow the whistle and make sure team X wins this game"
Never gunna happen if everyone is getting their palms greased.
There should be a review on refs that make too many bad calls. If they are proven to have made too many bad calls then they should be fired! In any other business if you do a terrible job then you’re going to be fired! Why should the NFL be any different?
Was I the only one watching the XFL this past spring? Every single play got video review immediately using a zillion angles without affecting the pace of play. Everything was reviewable, and challenges were rare because the booth had already fixed any mistakes before coaches had a chance to throw their red flags. When my Battlehawks missed the playoffs, I had no doubt that it was because Seattle had played a little better than STL (and DC had played a lot better). It was honestly so refreshing to watch, and other pro leagues should implement a similar system ASAP.
The worst part is that the NFL already has the systems and technology in place to do this. The players wear multiple RFID chips, the ball is tracked, NFL officials have access to 50 different angles instantly. They could review every single play and it wouldn’t slow shit down. They have all of this information yet the sit back and allow the refs to “be human and make mistakes”, even though they see what we all see at home (and more). Hard to even consider they are not complicit in the shit officiating, which makes it hard to believe there is no motivation or reason behind all the bad/no calls.
Those XFL players were making the same fundamental mistakes, just like the nfl.
I fully believe that every major sports league does have specific players/teams they will try and favor either for publicity or money. Like they let them play but if it’s close they say “hey, help (player/team) win”
Stafford winning was a great story. Last year, the Kelce brothers in the superbowl. Good storylines. Helping Brady and Mahomes. They always seemed to get favorable calls.
The fact that penalties automatically give first downs instead of "earning" a first down through the amount of yardage gained from the penalty tells you everything.
Considering that the NFL is an entertainment organization, they can technically write a season long storyline and implement it as they see fit. Think WWE but football.
Exactly! Finally someone gets it!
Not with sportsbook betting the way it is. They'd have to shut that down immediately if they truly scripted it like that, and everyone knows that the NFL has no interest in doing that.
And part of the entertainment is watching quarterbacks overact when they barely get touched, like punters. 😄
Also with a lot of betting. I saw like 3 or 4 sports betting apps advertised this past Sunday during commercial breaks.
The NFL did argue in court that it is only an entertainment, said it's on the back of every ticket. At least wrestling doesn't hide what it is. The NFL portrays itself as a legit sport.
NFL has the worst refs of all time and it's not even debatable
I didn't think that games were 'rigged' until that dallas detroit nfl game on Saturday night. Now looking back - what games weren't 'rigged'. It might be good for the NFL to go all cable - then we can't watch.
If we as fans are truly sick of this blatantly rigged league, Then what is stopping us from not watching. Like imagine what the NFL would do if fans stopped watching games for 1 week. Maybe it shows that we care more for the integrity of the game rather than the entertainment purposes. Just my thoughts. Love your videos bro.
NSACAR used to be a huge sports event. Now they have painted the seats, so the cameras don't show the lack of paid attendance.
Or stop betting. Once money gets involved shit becomes fixed

I don't watch any more. I quit in the take a knee days. I don't miss it at all and it doesn't make even a little difference in my life who wins an nfl game.
If we want this to change, we have to make it hurt for the NFL. If fans just boycott one Monday night game the league will announce full time officials that week.
Soon you'll see players wearing dresses and chugging Bud Lights. oh wait.. And get vaxxed

The players are in on it. Some of them at least. That Chiefs O lineman that kept false starting, how tf else would you explain that? What are the odds a player would false start 12 times in one game? Impossible. They do this fuckery right in your face so that you eventually just accept it. As you can see, this style of brainwashing has worked in spades on this @RoyalMela fellow above. His brain is a small pile of obedient mush anymore.
The NFL is fake. It's pretend football. Think of it as the WWE. The reffs are just part of the show.
This aged well. Definitely looked like it in tonight's game
Refs tried to screw Cowboys and still lost, blatant tripping by Lions Hutchinson was called on Cowboys instead. Woukd have been 1st n goat on 7 yd line
The Dallas v Detroit debacle highlights the rigging beautifully. The refs 100% play favorites and choose to make or not make certain calls all the time. Probably on every single play. Not sure what the solution to the problem is, but there’s no way it gets better on its own. It will certainly continue to get worse unless something changes.
Wrong, when the referee misidentified the eligible player it was Detroit's responsibility to correct it. Had they announced 68 as eligible 68 would have been covered, and the play likely would have failed.
@@davidanderson498 lol ok, bud. Apparently the Detroit coaches had met with the refs prior to the game and showed them that very play just so that they would be familiar with it and ready for it if they decided to run that play. So you’re certain that the refs just made a mistake on a play that they had seen before and knew about as opposed to them doing that on purpose? You have much more faith in the system than I do. There is no excuse for that situation to ever play out in a game, especially when the refs knew the play was coming. They knew who the eligible receiver would be, and the eligible receiver himself reported to the refs before the play. None of that stuff happening seems fishy to you?
@STSGuitar16 exactly. Dan Campbell stated he told the refs prior to the game they would run the play if given the opportunity, and there is video showing 68 reporting prior to the play. He went up to the ref with 70, but he lined up in the receiver position, while 70 lined up in his normal position. The refs blew that call big time, and I personally believe it WAS on purpose to screw Detroit
@@85bbenjaminfan yeah, I mean, I just don’t see a situation where this was purely a mistake. So many different things had to go wrong in order for this to happen that it seems like the refs purposefully missing the call is actually the simplest explanation. Several things conveniently going wrong all at the same time despite the refs’ prior knowledge of the play, vs the refs missing it on purpose. One of those is much simpler to arrive at than the other.

OF FOOTBALL! Good job! 👍🏻
All of the sports want certain storylines to prevail, and they do what can to make things work out the way they want them to work out. I'm old enough to remember the "patented" ninth-inning Yankee rallhy of the Micky Mantle era. Easy to arrange. Just tell the umpires to tighten up the strike zone. The Yankees were the meal ticket for the whole game back then. In general, every league has its flagship teams and those teams get the breaks. Red Auerbach admitted in his memoir that the refs gave the Celtis all the breaks during the Bill Russell. The NBA was happy with the Celtics as the dynasty team and Will Chamberlain as the great individual attraction.
Ok who is the team they want?
If you name the team today and they end up winning the SB you might have a point.

I’m surprised you didn’t include the one where the ref moved the ball back from its original spot literally while the chains were being brought on to the field
If it's the play I'm thinking of, I think the second spot was actually more correct. But it is pretty funny that they couldn't remember who they were supposed to be cheating for and had to fix their mistake.
On that play you also notice a 2nd referee stopping in front of camera while shuffling feet as ball was being moved backwards to try and hide the cheating.
I see that every weekend several times. The runner gets brought down at a certain spot, and instead of putting the ball where his waist or chest landed, the blind (or crooked) ref spots the ball where the runners ankles were..... and I'm not meaning where the runners body wound up after sliding to a stop, but where he actually went to the ground at first. The NFL needs to start a pay system where refs are deducted a certain sizable amount of that games pay for very obvious missed calls.
what I saw on that play is the Ref looking at the line Ref telling him the correct spot. good grief!
Be careful what you say because after all they are officials
Everyone complains about MLB umps, but they have no where near the same impact in a game as an NFL ref by far
Agreed! Also in baseball, at least the managers and players are allowed to yell at the umps a bit longer before getting ejected. NFL refs on the other hand seem to flat out love rigging the game.
Unless there behind the plate
@@brianmcmahan9579well even a plate ump has to call a swing or foul ball a strike. Then there are balls way off. Then there are balls right down the center. They really only call a few pitches per batter and can't make egregious errors that change possession
Oh, really? Take a look at the batting averages of hitters who are 1-2 vs. 2-1. The ump behind the plate can, and does, make a huge difference.

One hundred years ago boxing, horse racing and baseball were the most popular sports in America. They’re still around but no where near the popularity they once held. I get the impression from the NFL that they think that nothing like that could happen to them 😢
Good point
The fastest growing sport in America over the last 10 years is hockey.
I think there should be a special team of review booth officials that watch closely and communicate with the officials on the field in real time. Reviews should be automatic on any penalty, score, change of possession, and each team should get 3 challenges separate from time outs in a game. They also should be triggered in special circumstances determined by the booth team. On the field officials should have no say on overturning their own calls.
you may not realise it but alot of what you just described is the way that the NFL replay system works.

Yes,the refs are steering games on a regular basis. The goal is to favor the more popular team while simultaneously keeping it fairly close for ratings. They start by calling an insignificant penalty on the favorite team, then they make the loser team make up ground by moving them back so they have to cover the same ground 2-3 times. Then to not appear biased they will then call another insignificant call again on the favorite team.

All of these calls that aren't there get flagged and the ones that are clear penalties that get swept under the carpet aren't by chance. Nothing is more rigged than the NFL and the refs are the ones pulling the strings. If you can't see that by now you are living in a fairyland
It’s always been this way , only difference is there is proof through replays that’s makes it different. When the NFL got caught , they said they were an Entertainment business so they couldn’t be sued. So the NFL isn’t like pro wrestling , it is pro wrestling.
I have been done with this sport. The NFL is worse than college football.
Thank you! Very clear. I’ll say once, THE REFS AND SOME STUPIDS RULES ARE KILLING THIS SPORT.

That’s not how the penalty works, wr or not if we was on the line with someone else on the line further out than him. It’s ineligible man downfield.
All level of bad knowledge of rules for you.
Very good video, one thing that I think would help fans and people wake up and realize what is happening is changing the word rigged to manipulated. The games are heavily manipulated to ensure certain outcomes.. for whatever reason people can't grasp this possibility when the word rigged or fixed is used
After being an ardent fan of the NFL & NCAA football for 63 yrs I couldn't agree more that NFL officiating is at an all-time low. The league could do numerous changes to improve officiating
I can't even believe people still don't realize the NFL is rigged lol.. These calls aren't accidents. The players don't know (well some do and have said so plenty of times), but it's mostly done by the refs only takes a few calls in key moments to drastically affect outcomes of games.
The Cheifs are the new nfl darlings, refs aren't even looking for penalties against them... But they sure af are looking for penalties to call for their opponents and some of those calls are so laughably obviously called to help the Cheifs win that it's insane to me people still deny it.
No one can tell me that this stuff isn't scripted. It's gotten to the point where I'd rather watch Monday Night Raw then Monday Night Football because at least WWE admits it's scripted
“This has been a presentation/production of the National Football League”
It isnt scripted, thats dumb as hell. That being said, there is a problem that hadnt been addressed for a loooong time.
@@BoHornI don’t think it’s scripted either, but I do think that refs are paid in some way to make decisions that they think will help one team win the game. Whether it be NFL owners, betting companies, or just people they know that are helping them make money. It happened in the NBA, and definitely happens in the NFL as well
@@Nonamegoodsir4332 i mean, possibly, but a major hole in NBA reffing is how many scoring opportunities you can interrupt compared to the NFL. A relatively low scoring system makes it much harder for the refs to be involved without sticking out. Id say the ref system is better than some umpire teams for example where they can affect most pitches they like. Refs might be involved, but the obvious solution is for fans to push that refs are paid full time and are held accountable. The game happens very quickly, so a lot of calls will simply look bad when we can zoom in and play in slow motion. Thats not to excuse the obvious blown calls, just the typical ones. Another thing to present is the fact that many penalties happen per snap, so the refs are inherently meant to make judgement calls on when penalties are called or not. Imo, the whole idea that vegas pays out for favors from refs is silly because their entire betting structure evens the money on boths sides and they do not lose, they dont need to maintain status quos, they balance the money coming in to maximize profit.
The NFL admits it too,by referring to it as “Sports entertainment” rather than sports.

What about the 49ers vs Browns game cause that had a lot of really bad calls against both teams.
im all for spotlighting the bad calls. but lets put things in perspective. there are around 120-130 plays in an NFL game. that means about 2000 plays per week league wide. so out of the 14kish plays so far you found 20 or so with bad calls. and to be honest, a lot of these aren't really all that egregious. and some you just outright got wrong and called out a play where the refs got it right.
i like the content. just maybe a reality check on the actual magnitude of the issue would improve it.
I've been watching the NFL for about 40 years (yes, I'm in my 50s). Before instant replay, there were bad calls made, but not to the extent of today. NFL games have always been part of the betting world. The calls have been getting consistently more questionable since the Tuck Rule game. Add that to certain rules being installed and only called for certain players (no hitting the QB below the knees for Tom Brady), and it has made things worse. The NFL has always kept referree discipline hush hush, but if they want to keep people from abandoning the game, they need to make it just as public as they do discipline for players. It seems like every season since the Tuck Rule game, it has gotten more and more blatant. The owners won't pay attention until it begins to affect the bottom line.
Thevref are the rules there are no writen numbered leauge rules
again, its deeper than the refs...the refs are doing what they are told....these aren't missed calls.....they do it all with purpose...change the outcome of the game but minimally, to beat the spread...
As a Lions fan a 100 hour video can be made about penalties against them as a historical reference.
Especially when they played in Green Bay in November/December. The penalty flags flew over anything.
As a Lions fan, I want this video to be made.
Does everyone really think the refs are this bad? Their job is to take orders from Vegas and to keep the game on script
Right, athletes are getting better and better with each generation. But somehow the refs have gotten worse? With video evidence, none the less….
Vegas making a lot of money, along with the rich.
ABSOSULTELY CORRECT!!! You see and understand this while most on this comment platform or putting it on the refs which they are merely the puppets (refs) that employs the puppeteers (Vegas) will!!! At the two minute warning is when all the numbers are tabulated and final instructions are sent out...Mind you it does not happen on ALL games but on select ones for sure Superowl nothwitstanding ... And as evident in my prior comment regarding the Balt vs Ariz game a couple wks ago...
Josh Allen really begging the refs for roughing the passer calls
He gets the softest RTP of ANY QB in the league
Everyone does I agree he get more of them but he’s not the only one who begs
He doesn't even beg. He just gives the signal.
@@mytwosense9135I’m a Bills fan but I agree. He knows that the theatrics work. I hated it when Tom Brady got all the calls. I just wanna see football, not a play.
Im here in buffalo and i think josh allen belongs to the screen actors guild.
As a Raiders fan, I know the zebras pick and choose what penalties are called.
You got that right, Raiders are the most penalized team in the league.
I still watch but i havnt been invested in it since 2012 when i thought they were actually playing for real
These has to be investigated
I knew it was rigged since 2000 when Tom Brady became omniscient in the 4th quarter with his O-line getting away with the most blatant holding I've ever seen in a football game. I didn't know the extent it was rigged though. It goes far further than just the refs.
I would say the Chiefs get away with a lot of penalties that should have been called. Tom Brady could and did back up the penalties called against his team!! Tom Brady#12 the Greatest of all Time!!! 💯 Fact 🎯
Patriot been know for cheating now it just the Eagle
So you knew it was rigged in 2000? 23 years later you are still watching and commenting on it. You do reaslise that's 23 years of your life you won't get back? Did it never occur to you do watch or do something else?
Can you have an officiating problem again if you never stopped having one in the first place?
You could fill an entire three hour video of all the bad calls against the bills
It's been rigged since 2000
Realizing gambling controls ALL sports outcomes (pro and college) is the adult’s version of realizing Santa is fake.
The question needs to be asked, how much does Ed Hochuli have on the games, and on who. That's your winner, every time.
You've created a sport that is essentially impossible to referee. Every player on the field is trying to break the rules without getting caught in subtle ways and trying to sell everything the other side does as a penalty.
The art of being a good defensive back for example is basically the ability to cheat without getting caught
They have RFID chips on every player, they’re in the ball, pylons, etc. even the refs wear them. They have 100 different angles of a play instantly. Yet the NFL sees the shit calls or no calls we all see at home and just…let the refs be human and make mistakes.
Seriously if the NFL wanted to make penalties in the league consistent, they could do it by this next weekend of games. NY should review every play passively as to not impede the flow of the game. 50 year old dudes should not be the eyes determining penalties. They should be there for show, just like the down markers and chains. NY should be the ones identifying penalties with their 150 angles and crystal clear, zoomed in footage that they can watch in slow motion. They should be relaying the info they have at their fingertips into the ears of the officials, who can then announce the calls on field.
Seriously, they can do this tomorrow. They don’t want to. They know what the officials are doing, and it’s hard to believe there isn’t some motivation for allowing/enabling this to continue…and seemingly get worse. Hard to imagine it coincidentally got way more egregious to the point of genuinely impacting the outcome of games, at the same time that online sports betting became legal in 40+ states overnight lol.
My favorite bad call of the year, was when Josh Allen got horse collar tackled by the Eagle’s Defense, and they threw a flag on him for intentional grounding 😂
This guy’s videos are always the best of the heap. 👌
Only thing worse than those calls is hearing the words “Washington _Commanders”_ !! 😖😖🤦♂️
Pretty ironic that MGM sports betting ad was shown before this video.
Anyone that dont think the Refs especially Brad Allen and Sarah Thomas arent betting on football or having their surrogates betting on football still believes professional wresting is real.
Prime time games are completely controlled by the refs. The NFL does not want a blow out where people turn the channel early in the game. The refs will make calls or not make calls to keep the game close and the viewers watching. The NFL needs to keep the number of viewers as high as possible so they can continue to demand higher and higher prices for broadcast rights. The networks in turn need the viewing numbers as high as possible so they can charge higher and higher add prices.
Would love to see a coach taking his team off the field after an obvious blown call
Please do a deep dive in the chiefs and the refs favoring them
The NFL isn't going to fix it. They're in bed with DraftKings. I believe that DraftKings monitors the percentage of bets placed on all games and continuously monitor it and adjusts the script as they see fit to minimize their loss.
Refs are the biggest A.I. argument and i wish it wasn’t so!
I love this video, and indeed, ever since online sports betting became legal, more and more calls like this have become a thing . Keep the content comming
Makes one really want to place a bet doesn't it.
@russellkeeling4387 ya but I don't do any online betting I don't want to go down that rabbit hole I already have addiction problems don't need another one. I bet people I know hear and their when my team is playing them because I'm a steelers fan and all my co workers are Clowns fans
One of the first things is, make them full employees of the NFL.
Another thing would be a penalty challenge, where the coaches get an extra one to either make a penalty happen, or do try and overturn one.
Also, can't help but notice that most penalties are favoring a few teams, while others are getting destroyed.
Well, unless you change the reveiw system to HQ
And mic the entire ref team up
The refs are just gonna stand by the call
A third thing would be to stop welcoming betting on the games. There's a LOT of money being thrown around on every game and it would not surprise me if some refs or league officials directing the refs were making some money on the side.
And after making them full employees of the NFL, have them use the offseason to look at tape of their calls to practice getting better
The full time employee thing is so dumb.
These guys were the best for 100 years and all the sudden need full time work to do what others did better with half the time?!?!?!
The refs are being told what to call.
They are doing 100% what the nfl wants.
The solution is to let the game run as natural as possible. Let qbs and wrs get hit.
Let olinemen get beat.
Let cb cover.
Officiating will improve when the politicians leave the Commissioners seat.
I’m definitely done with the NFL, I’m kinda bummed because I really did enjoy it. But after this season, all the horrible and blatant wrong calls, even during prime time games. I can’t watch this fake s**t anymore
It’s fixed, players have come forward and admitted it!!
2024 2025 season and the Refs are just as bad the the league is still rigged horribly 🤦🏾♂️
Easy fix. Make the refs discussions public knowledge. Remember the commercial where the refs accidentally left their mic on and then they get called out by the fans? The refs should not be allowed to turn their mics off and the entire stadium plus tv broadcast knows what they are talking about. Its not perfect but it makes it harder to hide bias especially when they arent any good at hiding it right now
And if you wanna see bad calls go watch how many times Micah Parsons get held in any given game
How many times does it take for The Chiefs getting that crucial call, or non-call that helps him win will it take for people to understand whats going on?
It is in the NFL's best financial interest to make sure the most watched players, like Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes play in the biggest games the majority of the time. They get higher ratings, and the NFL can charge the networks more money when they negotiate their advertisement contracts. The NFL has zero incentive to officiate the games fairly. This would cost them billions of dollars.
The NFL does not have an officiating problem. Their officials are the best in the world at making sure games come down to the finish close and making the superstars play in multiple superbowls.
This is the real reason why Tom Brady played in 10 Superbowls and better and more talented quarterbacks like Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees only played in one a piece...NFL fans are idiots...
MaPhony is the biggest fraud ever. I only see parts of Chiefs games because of RedZone and I was at a party for the Jets game. Harlem Globetrotters of football 100%
the referees are really just scapegoats because they are employees of las vegas who controls the outcome of all these games....the nfl has ruined its product...since the legalization of gambling which they freely advertise now the cheating has gotten worse exponentially ..and being a former player this makes me sick to my stomach
Earphones in ref ear for Vince McMahon to call in plays and results
This is exactly I no longer have anything but a passive interest in the NFL. Every time a game is on, the refs end up being the difference makers. It’s a broken system they need to figure something it out.
I find watching lower level college football (group of 5, FCS, and below) to be a pretty good cure. It feels pretty grounded. Mainstream media like ESPN only remotely cares about it during bowl season and the playoffs, and you see them draw up plays NFL teams would never attempt. And at least the better teams will win 9 times out of ten. I much prefer that honesty.
100% rigged
Those referee video review where almost everyone are certain, but the referee still call it the other way are insane. I notice it happens a lot this season
I've noticed that after an NFL ref retires or even while they are active they never give interviews or answer questions it like they are in witness protection program! Makes you wonder!
This is why I stopped watching NFL in 2008. Haven’t watched a game since. Huge joke.
Last weeks Commanders vs Eagles game was one of the most agregious cases of a game decided by awful officiating Ive ever seen.
Commanders are up 17-10 and Eagles go for it on 4th down at the Commanders 45, and the refs give the Eagles a 1st down on a pass that clearly hits the ground and is incomplete. The Commanders shouldve had possession at the 45 with a chance to increase their lead, but instead the Eagles tie the game on this drive that shouldve ended. Then later on when the Eagles are up 31-24, Jahan Dotson makes a catch on 3rd down that should give the Commanders a 1st down to continue their drive, and it was originally called a catch on the field, but then the refs seemingly for no reason overturn it to say it's incomplete. If you watch the replay it is clearly a catch and it isnt even close. Not to mention Eagles got bailed by refs in their first game against Washington. Fraud ass league that clearly plays favorites.
You're clearly watching that game as a fan. That 4th down catch was a bad call, but Washington could have challenged. It happens all the time, team hurrying up you challenge. And the Was catch was not a catch. The 1 angle clearly shows the ball touches the ground.
We got bailed on week 4?? They made bad calls against us the whole game.
@@xueyanghe7704 that is a laughable statement, youve been the refs/leagues darling all season and everyone knows it. Nice job committing 0 penalties against the Dolphins btw LOL
@@Millionaire2K 1. Should be called correctly to begin with, 2. The ball can touch the ground so long as possession is established beforehand, which it was. Regardless the fact that they electively deliberate on our play in order to overturn the call over very inconclusive and ticky-tack evidence, but just let the call on the field of your "catch" rock when it wasnt even close to a catch speaks volumes.
First year I've legit thought I might be done with football. NHL is calling my name.
Exactly why I didn't watch a single game this season, after watching weekly for the past 20 years. This shit is fake as hell, and I'm done with it.
I mean... we still watch professional wrestling. That's scripted pretty heavily. And pretty much out in the open. What would make it different if thats how the NFL wanted to go?
I haven't watched the NFL this year after watching it for over 25 years. I don't miss it at all....
The most obvious ref interference in the game last season was the SB, where the idiotic call in the 4th quarter handed KC the victory.
