You should be called the Amazing David. I have your pumpkin bread in the oven now and I watched your video on how to make condensed milk last night and I’m ready because in Canada is about 3 dollars a tin. Now I am making this recipe, your the best. I have been making your recipe for years, your cheese meatball recipe is a classic in our house. I wish you all the best and health and happiness.🇨🇦

I made mine with 1 can of unsweetened evaporated milk with 1/3 cup of Brown Sugar Splenda, only had three bananas but went for it anyway. Used the correct measurement of self rising flour. Added a few chopped walnuts. It is really delicious. Will definately make this again and again. Would make a wonderful fast gift for a neighbor or friend. Thanks for a new favorite recipe!

We freeze our bananas whole skin's on. Remove from freezer, cut off one end, when mostly thawed squeeze out the fruit from the uncut end to the open end into the bowl. The skin on keeps the ice crust away.

Saw this video 2 weeks ago and was intrigued. The banana bread batter is presently in the oven (at 375 F and I added a bit of vanilla extract--all other instructions are by the letter, including the cinnamon) First time I have baked without using a mix...without adding eggs or oil. Looking forward to the results.
Can blueberry bread be prepared this way too? (Ah...heard your end-comments about us making alterations. So, next time, I will substitute bananas with blueberries)
MAJOR SUCCESS!! The banana bread is DELICIOUS--and I get so much MORE of it for less money (than buying/using a mix). You've just added to my cooking repertory (if I can use that word here)! I will use this self-raising flour and sweetened evaporated milk foundation for all of my future dessert breads. NO MORE MIXES.

Maybe next time. I always keep left over bananas in the freezer. Usually I make smoothies. They keep well. Banana Bread is an Aussie food staple. We're a bit weird that way lol. It is not actually a bread. It is a cake however it is super nice for brekkie if you pop it in the toaster. I will definitely be making this again with the suggested variations. Thanks again and great to see you back.

There actually were three ingredients, bananas, flour and cinnamon. I thought he forgot to add nuts because most banana bread does have nuts. But then he said you could add nuts and chocolate chips, etc. So now I wonder if he forgot to show or add a baking powder or similar to insure it would rise? I guess we could go to Twitter or FB and ask him.

@@alicehogan1727 don't forget the cinnamon was extra..making it the 4th ingredient in his....bananas, sweet condensed milk, flour...and then he added cinnamon....but i figure it's easily to customize by adding nuts or chocolate chips..or whatever you want. :)

    David,
I went through a bunch of recipes. I chose Your’s not because it is only 3 Ingredients but because It is You. You make such Delicious recipes. I just made it and had decided before You mentioned that this is good for beginners; that I would add in 3 extras. The first one was Your addition of: 1)Cinnamon
    2) Chocolate Chips
    And 3) crushed walnuts
I am waiting impatiently, to try it when it gets done. I wanted to make a treat for My 14 year old Grandson’s visit tonight. Thank You, David. I will let You know how Delicious it is after We eat it. 😊👍🏼👋🏼
