Kate was such an awesome game player and her blindsiding Marielle was so epic. I actually think she did a better job than Alex at arguing her side in the finale but Craig was more close to Alex. I think her mistake was bringing up Alex at the roundtable more than once towards the end but both times not voting for her. Might have made her argument feel more fake. Both her and Alex were amazing tho

I loved this interview from Kate - especially the insight into the Marielle vote and how she also figured out Alex was a traitor at the same time. I always wondered why she didn't seem surprised when Alex revealed her identity and this explains why.

Brilliant interview. Kate is one of if not the best faithful of all seasons so far! Surprised she suffers from anxiety like me, did not show at all.

I think her, Alex, Marielle and Nigel were all incredible players. Those 4, along with Cirie in the US, and Amanda and Kieran from the UK are the best in all the traitors imo

@@Joker-sy4xr worth a watch if you have some free time. But if not, Cirie is probably still the best traitor of them all so far

Just finished the 1st season of the Aus version. I would have been interested to see how it played out if Kate had not been recruited to be a traitor.
It was heartbreaking to see Craig so easily led by Alex at the end.
I enjoyed Kate's constant involvement in the show. It's rare that someone so vocal actually makes it to the end of most reality shows.
Alex essentially rode the wave of anonymity the whole way through, which is the main reason I felt it was easier for her to be a traitor compared to Kate.

I am a huge Kate stan too. And yes, I think even she was surprised every morning when she survived murder. Oh this is making me want to watch all over again!

I just finished S1 of the Aus version too. Wasn't that last segment a strain. Having seen the UK S2 I knew a clear problem - with humans, it seems - is we are all TERRIBLE judges of each other, especially in close proximity. But that became amazingly intensified in the last hour as Craig sought to "be in confidence with" BOTH of Alex and Kate -- even though it was clear that with three people left at least one of them, was lying - and so that could not possibly be so. Alex seemed to have the magic trick of crying real tears - at will - which might be why Craig supported her at the last. And when Kate was banished -- he EVEN THEN, hadn't worked out that there was still a traitor left.... initially he was all "...We DID IT..." god how embarrassed he must have felt. He LOOKED bloody annoyed, as he may well also have been. Hey Ho -- its a fascinating series precisely because we humans seem so bad at this. I guess in future, contestant-groups will slowly get better at it.....

Do the contestants still wins _some_ money ? I'd be so bummed to be a finalist and just go home empty handed...
Omg, i was so rooting for Kate... Apparently Alex completely ghosted Craig after filming even tho he has a Go Fund Me for disabled children or his own daughter, who is disabled. That is so shitty...That explains why he was so endeared by Alex's crocodile tears.
GG Alex but, jesus, that's not someone i'd want to have as a friend.

Nope, no prize money at all! I know that for US Traitors S1, non-celebrities were paid $100 a day (plus a bigger fee for the reunion show) and celebrities were paid their own particular appearance fees (which would be the same in Canada, Australia S2 etc.).
As for Craig and Alex, I think the situation is probably a lot more complex than it might seem...

    • @mikehvirdis
      @mikehvirdis 6 месяцев назад

Hard isn't it.... the look on Craig's face at the end said it all -- he'd GENUINELY tried to apply the base human principles of decency and friendship throughout - and even into the endgame: he had to know with only 3 left, AT LEAST one of them was lying, yet he seemed to want to trust both of them. In the UK version, we get to see the host require the traitors to actively CONFIRM verbally, that they must "keep secret their status as triators" but ALSO, confirm that they will "lie and cheat throughout as needed" (or words to that effect) -- I assume Aus does the same thing, so Craig MUST have realised even someone (like Alex) who attested utter honesty and promised to work with him in the final banishment, Could / Would / was in fact LYING, because the rules of the show, actually REQUIRED them to be dishonest.

    • @mikehvirdis

A basic conflict exists, between people's instinctive wish to act decently toward others, and the RULES in a game where you undertake to Lie under specified circumstances.
