    I really enjoyed your tutorial, I have a learning disability so I find other tutorials too fast. Thank you for going slow and repeating things. Also, the close-up view made it way easier to follow. :)

      I m just curious how big it turns out. I m making one for a male friend. Would 41 peg loom be too big?

    The video doesn't show what to do with the yarn that's tied on the side peg at the beginning. It has to be untied from the peg after a few rows. It can be tucked into the brim or or woven into the brim but it's an important step that's not shown for beginners.

    This an awesome tutorial and I’ve watched many. So clear and I appreciate the written instructions. Is it okay to use two strands of #4? Also what if you have an odd number of pegs? Would it be knit 3 purl 2?

    I really enjoyed your video, and what's fun is that I also like to e-wrap sideways, and I also use my fingers to get the purl stitch on (although many videos I see people using their hooks). And the music reminds me of playing The Sims :-)

      Thanks so much! That’s funny that we both do those things! I didn’t even realize that I was doing anything differently until people started pointing it out, haha. We must think alike :) Thanks for your fun comment!

    What do you do with thefoot long yarn left when you changed colors? Are we supposed to do anything to hide it?

    I love this hat and want to make it. But I’m confused as you started knitting to the left instead of to the right, are you left handed or is that just part of the pattern? Thank you.

    • @essyjae
      @essyjae  7 лет назад

      I had actually never noticed that I knit the opposite direction until you mentioned it. I’m not left handed, I guess I’ve just always done it that way :) Feel free to go the other direction!

    • @jessicadoner4076
      @jessicadoner4076 7 лет назад

      Michelle Lomeli that's frustrating. I had the same issue and realized some of my looms have an even number of pegs (and divisible by 6), while others have an odd number of pegs (31 or 41) and are for different patterns. Hope this helps!

  • @bettywaldeck5312
    @bettywaldeck5312 6 лет назад

    Nice tutorial. So no one is confused, what you are doing is an e wrap stitch. Looks like a letter e. A knit stitch is a reverse purl stitch or called a true knit. Hope this helps.

    one complain, you pull to tightly, to make it easier on pulling, you have to loosen it a bit, not to much, but enough to where you don't pull the peg off with it. I've done that several times and learned the hard way, they are only plastic.
