- You just need to e-wrap and purl to make this beautifully textured loom knit hat. The body is made using an easy three row repeat. We will also make the top of the hat a bit less bulky by decreasing stitches before we close the hole. This tutorial is not for absolute beginners, but it's quite simple to follow, as long as you've made a couple of basic hats before.

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT FOR DOWNLOADABLE PDF PATTERN
The loom knitting PDF pattern is accessible for people who have low vision, people who are print challenged, and people who use screen readers. I tested for screen readers using the read out loud function in Adobe Acrobat. It is accessible because I use all black sans serif font in 24 point size. There is no extra formatting, and I use one inch margins. All directions are fully written out, so the knitter does not need a knitting chart. The accompanying video has closed captioning.

I forgot to say: at bind off step, after you close the hole and weave around it, TIE A KNOT before you weave in your end down the column.
Wonderful presentation.

Thanks for watching!
This is perfect for a flexee loom regular gauge or chunky gauge. And you can decrease the crown.
But I love your easy to follow tutorials. This is a very nice hat. Easy to make. Even for beginner's.
Thanks!
This was fun and you are a great teacher. Keep on teaching.

Glad your videos came up as suggestion for me! I love my Martha Stewart loom set & seldom see tutorials for it! Thanks! I'm not a big fan ewrap, but it looks lovely🙂! Now to choose yarn from my stash(just moved my crafting supplies & yarn filled 24 - 18-24 gal totes🤐🤷♀️😉)
I'm also happy with my MS loom.
Lovely xx

yay! been missing you and your videos
Thanks for your support!
I've only got a 41 peg loom which is round can I do this on it thanks
Yes, just make peg 41 always a purl stitch.
Invest in a flexee loom. There are 3 different looms. Very inexpensive.
@@triciafritz7154 I'm thinking of buying some in the new year btw I'm from UK what are the 3 different sizes of the flexee looms?
Good tutorial. Where can find the pattern
There is a free pattern here on my website. msyarn.ca/purl-rib-stitch-hat/
I do not have that loom can I use the round loom thank you for sharing
You can use a different brand of round loom.
Can something be crocheted on a knitting looom ?
I don't think so.
Hi! If I have a 41 peg loom how do I make it even so I can do rows from 1 to 8 ?
I will have to repeat 1 purl or 1 knitt in peg 1 and 2 since 41 is a Pearl.
help!
You could make peg 41 always a purl stitch, hope this helps.
@@hellomsyarn thanks for replying, but I will have to repeat one of the stitches ok peg 1 and peg 41. Will that be ok?
@@PaulaMGomez-tj8oe Yes it will be ok. Once a person is wearing it, it's not really noticeable. I've made this on a 41 peg loom, and I'm fine with it.
@@hellomsyarn thank you very much! Im looking forward to finish it.
Also have you done any baby blanket ok a rectangular loom knit?
I'm on a quest to do this for my nephew and your videos are a blessing ! 😊❤️😁
There is a playlist that you can check out called "Loom knit blankets."
