I had learned how to use a loom about a decade or so ago but hadn't used it a lot and forgot a lot of it, this was so easy to follow along and honestly felt easier than when I learned. I love how you give us options of how to go about it and also the little giggle, it felt like I was sitting with a friend and looming. Made a hat for a friend who helped me out and I won't see for a while since I am moving.
    Thank you for the video!

omg!! thank you so much for your vid! Not sure if it's just me , but pretty much every other vid I watch for help, just confuses the shit outta me and seems like they are making things so much more difficult! Yours was direct, to the point, easy to understand and pleasant to the ears. Perhaps it was my Adderall....naaah....it was you!! Thanx again!

You're an absolutely great teacher. So many helpful hints and info for those of us just getting started. (I especially appreciated your comment that "not all weight of 5 yarns are created equally." I thought I was crazy because I made a beautiful hat with a 5 weight yarn in one brand and when I made the same hat using a different yarn, it looked terrible.) I love how you explain the what size hat comes from using which loom. Your patterns are wonderful ... and so are you. Thanks.

It was a bit confusing because all of them did it a bit differently and I couldn't see up close how they were doing it. I wish I had run across your Video....It woul of been so much easier for me to learn this Craft. Thank you for sharing . You have a natural gift for Teaching. Thank you so much for making this video! I can’t tell you how disheartened I was watching video after video for looming hats where they used purl stitches. I thought for sure I would have to use purl stitches (or go peg by peg, rather than going all the way around before bringing the bottom loops over) and I am so relieved I can do it this way! Your hats turned out beautifully and you are great at explaining all the steps! This will be my first attempt trying to loom a hat - I’ve only ever loomed (and crocheted) scarves. Thanks again!😄

I remember when I was a kid , my sister gave me a knitting Jenny for Christmas and I was thrilled. I made do many scarves. I had a craft shop near my house and would by my yarn there. Sanford yarn's was a place I loved to visit. I use to save up my money and buy my yarn. Back then yarn was pretty economical. Okay so I'm showing my age of 57. LOL 😂

I have a friend who's asked me how much I'd charge to crochet a baby blanket for her and I had to tell her that it isn't worth it - no one can afford to pay for crochet at a rate that actually makes a profit for the crocheter. This was an awesome tutorial and I just thoroughly enjoyed your personality as well! I have been painting reborn dolls for over a year and it's hard finding hats for them without having to buy in bulk and getting all these plain boring colors that aren't unique at all. Also those hats can fit looser or tighter depending on whether the dolls have bald or painted hair, or how much hair is rooted into the doll if real hair is chosen. Using your tutorial I can now make my own baby hats! That will help add even more of a personal touch to each of my customer's purchases and make the box openings even more beautiful when I can color coordinate if they have a favorite color/colors. Whether you even see this comment or not...Thank you!

Great video. Very clear on cinching up the top, which is where I always get into a mess. Thank-you.

You are so awesome in making your instructions so easy and simple. I have this set of loops for about three years. I wonder what was I thinking when purchasing them. Today watching your tutorial I can do it. Thank so much.😊🙋

I know I'm late finding this video, but i have been watching videos for 2 days and have been so confused after each one. This is amazing! You explain things so clearly and you are easy to follow. I had a smile on my face watching you about 2 seconds in, thank you. I look forward to finding more of your videos soon. Please make more with the looms. I would lo e to know how to do blankets too.

Thank you so much for being THE BEST HAT LOOM KNITTER TUTORIAL EVER!!! I patiently watched a million other yawnsville tutorials in order to gain knowledge, but they didn't even put across the techniques comprehensively enough for dum dum me in the end!!! You taught me how to make a HAT - pure and simple. Not only that, you did so entertainingly, that I think I would enjoy the video, even if I wasn't so desperate to learn. Thank you, thank you again for sharing the JOY of knitting on a loom with no complications!! :-) :-) :-) XXXX

I just watched your video and made my first hat! Thanks for the great video it was awesome I have been caring for my mom on hospice for several months and far from my own home. I found a set of Knifty Knitter rings in her closet and needed something to fill the hours alone as mom spends her time sleeping. Your tutorial helped me figure it out Spending this time away from my family is hard and you helped me find a little peace and calmness in your mellow voice and instruction. I will always be greatful

You are so clear with your instructions. I particularly like the binding off with decreasing which I have tried in the past and have been unsuccessful. Now I feel confident that I can do it on my next hat. Thank you.

These are so fun to make. Our church had a crochet party for making hats and we also used the hoops. So we finished with about 100 hats and people of church donated mittens to go with them and they were given out in schools before Christmas to anyone who needed some. You know teachers are very observant for those without hats and mittens.

My daughter learned loom knitting in transition. It, as a result, has made me want to learn! Thank you for putting this out there! Easy to follow, great calming voice and oh so much simpler than I ever thought this would be!
