    Thanks for showing us how to use this for TPMS work. If you had new OE sensors for your vehicle would you use them or would you go with the programmable ones? Seems like the OE sensors are cheaper and it looks like you can program the ECU with the updated info.

      No problem. I would likely go with the OE ones if I could get them. However, the aftermarket ones will last for at least 5 years or longer so, either way you would be good. Yes, you can activate (relearn) pre-programmed OE senors with this unit.

    Those sensors certainly are more robust than the stock GM sensors! Are the batteries in them replaceable at least? That might be a moot point if the sensors only cost $20 apiece, however..

      I think those XTOOL sensors look more robust since they are for 315 and 433 mhz, while the OE set are for 315 mhz only. I don't think you can change the battery but as you say they are only $20!
