I feel very unfortunate to have discovered Baba Saheb very late. I come from a Brahmin community and fully support Baba Saheb's vision to make India caste free and united. I wish to influence more people from other upper castes. I wish they knew Baba Saheb and his vision. I wish we had no caste ever and no atrocities on Shudra and Dalit. I belong to a lower middle class family and my family has also been subjected to many oppressions and brutality. But it wasn't a caste oppression which would've been more cruel, cruel than anything else, as when you're oppressed on the basis of your caste your identity is questioned. Now to fight caste system and to make india a more equal society We should start inter caste marriages ASAP. One of ny long distant cousin is married to a Dalit as well and it should come to a regular practice in order to abolish caste system.

Politicians have totally twisted the truth. Reservations and the politics around it was attempt by Gandhiji and others to keep appointing stooges, and the BJP has also happily followed them. Babasaheb wanted to give the depressed classes a chance to fight for themselves. How many will vote Prakash Ambedkar into power? Rather, they will vote for these various useless major parties who claim the mantle of Babasaheb while doing zero work. Nor are they doing Gandhiji's work in entirety, since they are full of falsehoods.

@@amanshukla3543 yup absolutely. During mahabharat cast was a flexible system and occupation used to denote the cast. Karna was a Sutputra and was not had status to make the battle with Kshatriya Arjun but when Duryodhan offer him Anga Pradesh he became the king of the Anga and a Kshatriya and got the status to make the battle. Walmiki Vrishi who was from Walmiki cast become Maharshi and got the higher status after he gain the knowledge of scriptures.
There are many such examples in history, mythical stories and scriptures that the cast was flexible system but later some groups who started to get the profit they made hereditary fir benefiting their children and the flexibility got destroyed😞😞
