      It was broadcasted on a state mandated news channel similar to Doordarshan. During Indira Gandhis rule, there’s wasn’t a single source of media broadcasted to the public that wasn’t censored by Indira gandhis administration. This entire interview was most likely rehearsed. So no, she’s not displaying courage she’s spreading her propaganda wisely. Stop glorifying people for no reason. Please be an alert citizen you are the only hope.

    Leaders like Mrs.Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, later on Mr. Vajpayee , and Dr. Singh were remarkable intellectuals. Each had their own strengths and character. Sure they had their own faults.But we were fortunate to have them at the helm. We do know now how better they were as compared to the one we have now. They all seem so tall in front of Mr. Modi.

      @Mr. X We praised her interview, we would have praised interview of Modi ji but sorry we couldn't find it anywhere
      Except for that mango one(with Akshay kumar) and some other.
      No press conference from him
      Modi Ji says what he want in "man ki baat" but we are not interested in that, we like two way communication just like this one.
      You speak of Chai wala becoming PM yes that was great and truly inspiring
      But we also know that his power and success is built on Gujrat riots ( on people's grave)
      Yes he took great and brave steps like demonetization (which Congress couldn't) but my friend where is black money??
      And we also know how GDP dropped after that and it was a failure only poor section pay the price. Lion of "make in india" is roaring in China. Indian democracy index is falling. Freedom of press is questioned regularly. I don't see "acche din".
      Yes Modi ji have not taken a single holiday but roaming from from one country to other with world class facility is holiday to me.
      Building wall to hide poverty is just one of the modi things. All the things i mentioned should also be mentioned in the Glory of Modi ji in History text books and i bet you my grandchildren will not support his(Modi ji) deeds, except for swachh Bharat abhiyan. Incase you don't now modiji govt. helped corruption by amendment in electoral bonds. So i conclude Judge the person by his work. praise their work if they did good and criticize if they don't deliver.
      Here we just admired the interview not the bad deeds by Gandhi family.
      Thankyou
      Please read complete argument and we can have a healthy discussion for the problem and understand each other.

      I was saying HE STATED THE FACTS, not her. He stated facts that she imprisoned lacks of innocent people and politicians; she forced vasectomy on millions of poor people; she forced the emergency to save her political career, not for the nation. And idiots like you think she belittled him with her innuendo. She clearly seems uncomfortable with tough questions. And before you bark out for "at least facing tough questions". He was a foreign journalists. They are quite unpredictable. Above all, she had censored or imprisoned all brave Indian journalists for questioning her move. Hence, AFTER the emergency, she was trying to save the face by giving interview to a foreign journalist.
      But I know "Main bhains ke aage been baja raha hu". People like you are so blinded by hate that you have no time to read the history and think rationally.

    • @vabskrishna
      @vabskrishna 5 лет назад +12

      @rishabh sharma 1. Wow! So to solve population problem, one should forcefully sterilize poor people. Hope she had done it with your parents. How dumb and sycophant one could be to even defend such heinous and unconstitutional move to defend a psychopath.
      2. If it was for her, she would have never uplifted the emergency. When Indians pushed back the dictators like Britishers with their determination, she was nothing. It was Indian masses who protested against her openly and if she hadn't uplifted it, mass revolt would have broken out. Anger was such that despite having no other alternative in politics as all the other ones were quite nascent as was proven when they were elected, people voted her out. But idiots like you are so blind in your sycophancy that you refuse to see that.
      3. I have no love for Modi and BJP. And yes, he is as coward as she was. I only said that to save myself from this stupid argument which I saw coming from mindless fanatics like you. But I was wrong. You people are so blind and stupid that you can even defend terrorists if you have to mock that party you oppose.

    She is our iron lady,
    India should not forget important achievements of Indira Gandhi while also criticizing her;
    1. Green Revolution: Indira Gandhi's government spearheaded the Green Revolution, transforming India from a food-deficit nation to self-sufficiency in food production through technological advancements in agriculture.
    2. Liberation of Bangladesh: Under her leadership, India played a crucial role in supporting the independence movement of Bangladesh, leading to its liberation from Pakistan in 1971.
    3. Nationalization of Banks: Indira Gandhi nationalized major banks in India in 1969, aiming to expand banking services to rural areas and promote economic growth by increasing access to credit.

Thus the U.S. Jewish lobby hated her as well as Henry Kissinger (their man) was no match for her, besides her personality made foreigners feel inferior to her thus all the attacks. Her husband a Parsi of a fine family was made by planted data falsely as a Muslim. In any case in the land of Gandhiji all religious are respected. A true believer in democracy she immediately stepped down when she lost the elections. She is Mother India to most Indians. She also gave India nuclear weapons in the 1974 blast.

See the types of interviews modi faced from 2002-2014, in this period he got conditioned for interviews of such types. The sole reason modi does not give interviews is the same reason as indira, both of these personalities hate being answerable or they don't believe in media at all.

    • @thethreespikes9737
      @thethreespikes9737 4 года назад +27

      @Aishwarya Patil how come mori never does interveiw. Go check out his interview with Karan Thapar, He was almost crucified. Second, Indira gave better reasoning for her actions than him. Third, you can only say that because he had been given clean chit from the court. So had she. Communual politics is not the way forward. His policies at economic front has failed miserably. It will decline if something is not done soon.
      You are the prime minister of India and you dont even feel the need to face media. India has been polarised. I dont like congress. But atleast they did not call people anti india and terrorist just because they had an unfavorable opinion. Things are getting regressive and instead of breaking taboos. We are building a lot of taboos.
      We want a secular country. I agree modi is not currupt. But he is fake. He will even try to media publicize it if he poop lol.

    • @thethreespikes9737
      @thethreespikes9737 4 года назад +22

      @Aishwarya Patil You are so blinded by your own stupidity and unnecessary pride, nothing I will say will make you understand. But still one thing why doesn't Modi gives interveiw is because people will realize how stupid he is. He is nothing but just a demagogue, which you will only realize when this countries GDP will be destroyed. Its ok to be proud. But to publicize it as every front come on, its annoying. Modi is downright stupid who makes stupid statements like his Radar theory while interveiw. You live in a democracy where Modi is not obliged to give interviews which is considered to be the third pillar of democracy. Wow thats a nice thinking of you. Second India was not secular. Do you even know what secularism means. India was never one country, it was never intigrated, Ashoka tried to intigrate, but so did samjdragupta, but all in vain. So india was a subcontinent, it was never a country before 1947. We have to thank our freedom fighters who gave their life for this country to be made. And by the way, muslim league and RSS were just bootlicker of britishers who just wanted minority rights for themselfs.. if it was for them this would have divided a while back. Thanks for the likes of Nehru who was a great leader who gave it the foundation that it still won't be shaken. Secular doesn't teach you tolerance, it teaches you acceptance and respect for others thought. I hate Hinduism, because its communual like other religions. I love Sanatana Dharama because its universal
